As a self proclaimed anarchist.. at least here, since most of you get.. that it literally means no ruler, and that true anarchists are not violent and only wish to live their lives in peace without interferance from others.

I confess to violence that does not sit with me right. I get that in situations that demand it in a loved one or a self preservation way, all is good . However where is the line? A friend, work bud got in my face today. We have had loud verbal arguments in the past but they have not got violent. we have always been buds after. Today I got violent. The guy was repeatedly in my face screaming and I told him at least 3 times to get out of my face. He would not listen.

Some background. We are struggling at work like many. Barely in the black. 2 guys have been laid off. That leaves 6. of us. I have been there since 1993 and have a small partnership agreement.

Anyway my buddy is a sales guy, and is pissy that I am not making some parts for a new customer, which i am working on as we speak and starts saying shit about losing eveyrthing ... says some something to the effect of you can loose everything.. I will take it all and I will take your son.

After he said the stuff about my boy i went into a rage, grabbed him, carried him about 6 feet turned him around and slammed him in a corner and pummeled him a half dozen times or so.

What the fuck? Did I lose it and am now one the ignorant that resorts to violence?
it is hard not to blow when someone pushes your buttons for a long time

well! I don't know. I had an old man tell me in 1990 that 'the problem with America is that nobody hauls OFF AND SLAPS PEOPLE IN THE FACE LIKE THEY USED TO'... when I was relaying how a gas station owner got really weird and rude to me that day... 'used to be, anyone got rude like that to your face-you'd just haul off and slap 'em or punch them-right in the face, that's why everyone was so 'mannerly' back then... they'd get smacked RIGHT IN THE FACE' looking like he was having a 'fightin' flashback' right then...

Now we're too indoctrinated to be 'afraid' to haul off and do the natural thing... but there are lines that, when crossed lead to wherever they go.

there's been a few times, lately, where if the shit in my life progressed any further-I knew somebody might be going to jail-maybe me!

I got into a strange interaction while I was witnessing in court last week. Psychotic thief got in my face-but she was psycho cool about it. I am pretty well trained-didn't threaten her but did find myself yelling at her loud enough that I did give the judge a fish eye to see if he was noticing the exchange. He was.

so-you just gotta do what you've gotta do and be willing to take whatever comes your way from it.

I don't get why he got all nutty personal and involved your kid though... definitely feed material for him from you though. They all gets their feeds.

Although I'm not a parent, I would guess that a threat against your child would be enough to push most people over the edge. It does fall within the range of self/family protection IMO.

Peace

I don"t get that either. Looking back it seemed on purpose...

Indeed, and I do not know how to explain it but that is what pushed me over and it was like something clicked and reason was gone..
Oh, I. M., that's a damn shame that your friend slipped on that_____ in the shop, and then the _____fell on him. He oughta be more careful.

He is not that way, This is no setup for a lawsuit.. Nah he hates the kkkourts as much as I do.
So he says.

But he's proved he's a snake by studying you well enough to know how to provoke you to violence. The deviant ones never hit first. They goad us into hitting them first, in order to scream and cry that we are the violent crazy people.

That is quite true...so stay away from those kind of creeps, especially. And his threatening his son was beyond outrageous! He certainly was not a real friend after all!

lol
you did good.
I might have even helped you....
He purposely pushed your buttons because he is pretending to be a dick-tater,
and wants to take his frustrations out on anybody convenient enough to tolerate them.
