unusual perspective stated here-the what I call 'the anti-life regime' started a long time ago now-and does parallel in the micro realm of our individual lives with what is playing out in the macro realm of world wide politics and economics.

It is also realized behaviors of the psychopathic personality disorders... and I had noticed that it is what gang behaviors consist of as there are always gangs involved whether politically, law enforcement, gang gangs, militarily- gangs v the individuals really let the psychopaths rule.

Quote:There is no telling to what extremes of cruelty and ruthlessness a man will
go when he is freed from the fears, hesitations, doubts and the vague
stirrings of decency that go with individual judgement. When we lose our
individual independence in the corporateness of a mass movement, we find a
new freedom- freedom to hate, bully, lie, torture, murder and betray without
shame and remorse. Herein undoubtedly lies part of the attractiveness of a
mass movement: Eric Hoffer
Sounds like the Republicans under Bush and the Teabaggers etc of late. When you have nothing to lose, because you are part of a gang, and can't be individually targeted, you will do whatever is truly in your heart. Sad. Many are brought to that stage by the propaganda of the moment, some by their own selfish desires, others by the power it gives them to be anonymous. It is mob mentality. Watch how the media presents it. A few people are presented as representing many.

When the anti Iraq march on Washington was given in the US network news, they said only about 10,000 were present and the march got little air time. Our buddies the Brits reported 100,000. The French said well over a million. Why no US coverage? The spin on gangs is amazing. Depending on ones point of view of course. Obama needs to break up the media concentration if we are to get honest news. Then gangs would be put back in perspective and real movements would be given their due.
There are no real movements. All movements are infiltrated and overtaken, and the moneybags fund all sides. That is a fact. The only way out of the mess, out of the influence of the mob/mass mentality, is from the inside of each of us. It's going to take a transformation of each human: the creation of awareness, the realization of what it means to be human; the return to heart-based perception; shedding domestication programming; becoming responsible and impeccable through integrity. This only seems unlikely because most people take the easy way. It's easy to follow, easy to keep doing what one has always done or thought; it's difficult to transform and go against the flow. We shouldn't give up just because it's hard or because others aren't doing it. Even if it's only a handful who manage transform, the world will still be a better place for their efforts. <img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/peace.gif" alt="Peace" title="peace" />

Ain't that the truth.

In a time of drastic change it is the learners who inherit the future. The learned usually find themselves equipped to live in a world that no longer exists.

The tea parties are a sham, and so is the so-called tax-resistance! The NRA is a sham and it's supported by Blackwater/Xe...didn't know that, huh?

OR,
Live in a world that is about to exist...
You need to understand the personality of the group, mob, posse to separate the individual from their actions.

This is so true for both statements.

If you STAY in a 'mob' scene or 'group mind' atmosphere you WILL run off the edge of the cliff with rest of the lemmings.

One MUST, I say to keep one's own PERSONAL sanity, scoot to the fringes and hard edges of things to be free to move, see and understand more than just the mob.

Plus it's more fun, enlightened and survivable. :uni:
