RE: Next President of the United Fates of America - Wook - 12-27-2015
2015 year in review: 29 trends and events that just reshaped history (and may end in collapse or civil war)

Quote:This analysis is now published as a series of six podcasts on Here are the bullet points of the 29 (or so) points:
1) Massive uprising against the political establishment (Donald Trump rides the wave).
2) Backlash against GMOs accelerates: Chipotle goes non-GMO, Russia bans GMO agriculture, more foods getting labeled as non-GMO.
3) Accelerating rejection of the mainstream media as leftist agendas are no longer hidden from the public. More people turning off CNN and the New York Times.
4) The rise of the alt media, including all the sites I’ve personally launched in the last,,,,,,, Natural.News and many more.
5) The rise of the intolerant crybullies on college campuses as well as the new Toleraticlass of intolerant leftists who condemn everyone else as bigots and racists even though THEY are the ones who are bigoted and racist.
6) Increasingly sharp divisions between political left and right; more talk of Civil War and secession. Signs that it’s all headed for a serious class and possibly bloodshed.
7) Increased awareness of crisis actors and false flag shootings; Amazon bans book on Sandy Hook to prevent the public from even thinking about the possibility that mass shootings are often staged or accentuated with actors.
8) GOP merges with democrats to become the same sellout party of Big Government.
9) Government debt spending total blowout rockets the USA toward financial collapse. (Omnibus bill and $20 trillion in debt…)
10) ISIS terrorism comes to disarmed France, demonstrating the total idiocy of open borders and disarmed citizens.
11) Fast-track trade (TPP) pushed through, destroying America’s sovereignty and putting globalist corporations in charge trade, intellectual property and even labor.
12)Awareness of vaccine injuries accelerates as more families lose their children to deadly vaccines.
13) Public awakens to Big Pharma price gouging, thanks to Martin Shkreli and Turing Pharmaceuticals.
14) EPA unleashes massive river pollution, then tries to silence parties involved (while arming up with weapons and becoming a “militarized” regulatory agency).
15) Massive cultural push for gay, transgender themes invades all media programming, including Disney, Netflix and Amazon Prime; Supreme Court legalizes gay marriage nationwide.
16) Rise of government totalitarianism and the police state, more citizens awaken to the fact that they are now living in a police state. John W. Whitehead releases “BattlefieldAmerica.”
17) The collapse of America’s educational institutions into indoctrination centers that teach victimization rather than economics.
18) Massive oil industry bankruptcies as Saudis attempt to destroy the fracking and shale oil industries in North America. Watch for oil prices to skyrocketed in the next 1-3 years, back to over $150 per barrel.
19) Turning point on gun control as more Americans REJECT an assault weapons ban in the name of self-defense. Obama’s gun control push is utterly failing to gain traction…
20) Escalation of war posturing between the U.S., China and Russia.
21) ISIS invades America with the help of Obama, terrorism on U.S. soil; Obama revealed as a sleeper cell trying to invade, occupy and destroy America.
22) Obama gives Iran the nuke. Only a matter of time before Iran tries to nuke Israel and destabilize the Middle East.
23) Police state medicine accelerates with California mandatory vaccine push that now injects children with mercury in the form of flu shots (California suspends ban on mercury in flu shots for children).
24) Corporations ditch U.S. workers and push for massive worker immigration to replace U.S. jobs with cheaper foreign workers. Thanks, Facebook and Disney!
25) Doctor Oz survives malicious attack by GMO shills who tried to destroy him for supporting GMO labeling on foods. Instead, he exposes them as felons and fraudsters.
26) Statin drugs revealed as medical fraud; accelerates aging and nullifies immune response to vaccines.
27) Wave of deaths among alternative medicine doctors raises questions of assassination or malicious extermination of holistic doctors.
28) “Lights Out” book by Ted Koppel – risk of EMP or cyber attack grid down scenario goes mainstream; Ted Koppel exposes total government incompetence and shocking lack of preparedness.
29) Record gun sales as Americans arm up against oppressive government and attempted gun confiscation. Patriotic Americans are literally arming themselves in anticipation of a revolution or Civil War.

Republicans and Democrats have MERGED: It's all one big, police state party of insanity now!

Quote:NaturalNews) In recent days the House, thanks to House Speaker Paul Ryan of Wisconsin and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell of Kentucky, adopted a $1 trillion-plus budget bill that adds hundreds of billions to the federal debt and decreases further the opportunity for our progeny to have a good life.

With its passage, this latest budget represents the complete political sell-out of the American people.

Prior to this budget, there were still vestiges of policy difference between Democrats and Republicans.

Democrats have historically been known as the party of Big Government, favoring high-dollar welfare programs and expansion of the federal bureaucracy at every turn.

On the other hand, Republicans were historically the party of smaller government, fiscal and personal responsibility and maximum liberty. The election of George W. Bush signaled a dramatic change in Republican orthodoxy, however, with Big Government programs like the major expansion of Medicare (Part D) and the No Child Left Behind law. The only president to have expanded the federal budget more than Bush has been Obama.

But as we can see with this latest budget, Obama is getting plenty of help from the "opposition party," which not only provided full funding for Obamacare and the president's refugee resettlement plans, but appreciably increased spending on virtually all of Obama's priorities, budget deficit be damned.

One party rule
As former GOP presidential contender and U.S. representative from Colorado, Tom Tancredo notes – as reported by – the end result represents the complete merger of the Democratic and Republican establishments.

Congress has adopted a 2016 federal budget that makes it official: The Republican Party and the Democrat Party have merged.

In the name of stability and progress, Republican leaders have agreed with Democrats to put big government on autopilot — with no change in the programmed destination, full-blown socialism. On December 18, at Speaker Rep. Paul Ryan's urging, 150 House Republicans voted to double down on the politics of surrender.

Yesterday, we thought we had two parties, Republicans and Democrats, but now we see that we have only one, the Repubocrat Party, the party of No Shame.

Tancredo, like most conservatives, feels betrayed after helping elect the largest number of Republicans to Congress – as well as state legislatures and governorships – since the Civil War; they were sent there to oppose Democrats and the Obama agenda, not support and even expand it. Yet that's what they've done, at virtually every turn.

Tancredo notes specifically:

-- In 2016 it likely won't matter who you vote for because "government growth is on autopilot, and the expansion of imperial government will continue, whether we elect Democrats or Republicans;"

-- Republicans talk about ending "sanctuary cities" whose local governments harbor illegal aliens (against federal law), and 5 million visa overstays, but do nothing to actually end the practices;

-- Republicans talk about reigning in the out-of-control federal bureaucracy, but continue to fund every agency without making any effort at all to use their power of the purse to defund – and hence reign in – the various agencies.

Tancredo goes on to make this admission as well: He "left the GOP" two months ago, and is now a political Independent. He says that's what the conservative and constitutionalist base that is continually lied to and abused by the GOP leadership need to do – bail, and let the party earn back their trust (if that's possible).

'We deserve better'
In the meantime, he says, voters can exact some revenge during the primary season by supporting candidates who are committed to busting up the D.C. establishment cabal currently occupied by both men and women who are loyal to everyone and everything but voters.

Tancredo paraphrased the Republican leadership's excuse for selling out their supporters:

Fulfilling commitments to K-street lobbyists is more important than keeping promises to the voters who elected us. Voters have preferences, but lobbyists have checkbooks. If you expect us to repeal slush funds and illegal regulatory mandates for the sake of principle, you're living in a different world.

As a former member of Congress, he knows exactly how "the system" works.

"We can do better; we must do better. Living on hypocrisy is not a healthy diet for patriots," he concluded.

RE: Next President of the United Fates of America - Vianova - 12-28-2015

That is interesting with the discrepancy beween the Quinnipac poll and the CNN poll,
shown on the prior page in the last 2 posts.
Quinnipac had trump at 28%
CNN at 39%

That is a considerable difference.

Quote:A Quinnipiac University poll released Tuesday
found a tighter race between Trump and Cruz,
a finding that clashes with most other recent polling on the national race.

It is one of only two live interviewer national polls released since Thanksgiving
that found Trump with a lead smaller than 10 points.
Across the 10 polls released during that time, Trump's lead over Cruz averages 16 points.

The CNN/ORC poll was conducted after the Republican debate hosted by CNN
and Facebook in Las Vegas on December 15.

Among those Republicans who say they watched,
33% say Trump ..... did the best job in the debate,
28% Cruz,
13% Rubio.
New Jersey Gov Chris Christie follows with 6%.

Former Florida Gov. Jeb El Stupidissimo Bush
widely seen as needing a strong debate performance to boost his standing in the polls,
was rated best by just 1% of debate watchers   Rofl

Overall, 46% of GOP voters say the Republicans have a better chance to win in 2016
with Trump as the party's nominee,
while 50%
say the GOP has a better shot with someone else at the top of the ticket.

In August, just 38% said Trump brought the Republicans their best chances.

Among those who say the party has a better shot with someone other than Trump,
Cruz is the preferred candidate, 25%
16% Rubio, 13% Carson, 9% are Trump backers,
8% Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul, 7% Christie and 4% each Bush and Kasich.

Cruz's favorability rating has jumped 22 points among Republican voters since September,
and he now holds the highest favorability rating among Republican voters
of any of the seven candidates tested.

He's also posted the largest increase in favorability rating among all adults since September,
climbing from 27% favorable in September to 45% now, an 18-point gain.
Trump (+8) and Rubio (+14) posted smaller increases.

I am surprised by the surge that Cruz has gotten since the debate.
I don't think he is electable against Hillary,
but Rubio still remains the only one statistically in the polls that indicates who could beat Hillary.
Trump polling numbers against Hillary may change soon to a more even spread,
but I don't see Cruz being able to.

Cruz will be Trump's VP?
I suppose it could go both ways  Hmm2

the three front runners all worry me ---- Hillary, Trump, Cruz ...  Cry

It will be tough for Rubio to catch back up.
Rand Paul is the only one that doesn't worry me as a presidential choice.

President  Confused  Trump?

From Newsmax:
Quote:The 15-second clip, which Trump captioned “We need a real President!,” begins with the typed statement “We are in a serious war,” and is followed with images from a news stories about ISIS members obtaining fake passports and coverage of both the Paris terror attacks and the San Bernardino mass shooting — both events are believed to be linked to the militant group. The choppy clips then fade to a black screen that reads, “Our president is busy with another war,” followed by a clip of Obama saying, “OK everybody, I gotta get to ‘Star Wars.'”

Quote:The thing that strikes me at the moment V
Putin may be a chess master
but Trump is the only one running who would give Putin a good game
Trump is in to Gamesmanship and is very good at it!

yes Trump would be good at that.
Actually Putin would rather deal with Trump than Hillary.
He finds that easier.
CNN had an ex KGB general on the air talking about the brief love affair between Trump and Putin
as they heaped praise upon each other.
His name is Kalugin,
and his comment was that Putin just has a better taste for Trump in a positive manner,
but it also implies that putin thinks he can manipulate Truump better than Hillary.
Hillary would be plenty tough with Putin,
that part is fairly certain.

Fascinating material from Oleg Kalugin ex KGB general:

Quote:Kalugin believes Litvinenko was killed by the FSB
for disclosing what he describes as "uncomely aspects" of Putin's private life.

He says he had warned Litvinenko about the dangers of making such details public.
"I called him when he was in London and told him he shouldn't be writing things about [Putin's] private life," he says.
"Then he died, my warning had come too late."

The incident has not deterred Kalugin from openly criticizing Putin and his policies.

The two men have exchanged acerbic barbs,
with Kalugin branding the Russian leader a "deadbeat" and a "war criminal"
for sanctioning the atrocities perpetrated by Russian forces during the second Chechen War.

Asked whether he is not afraid of meeting the fate of Markov and Litvinenko,
Kalugin claims to be protected by influential friends in Putin's close circle.

But there is one topic that he intends to keep under wraps for his own safety:

Putin's shadowy private life.
"When I'm asked about Putin," he says, "I answer,
'Ask his wife, he spent 30 years with her.'"ral Kalugin's inte c

Quote:General Kalugin's internal criticism of lawlessness, arbitrary rule,
and cronyism within the KGB
caused friction with the KGB leadership,
and he was demoted to serve as first deputy chief of internal security in Leningrad from 1980 to 1987.
He recalls that for the first time in his career,
he saw that the KGB's internal functions had little to do with the security of the state,
and everything to do with maintaining corrupt Communist Party officials in power.
Kalugin retired from the KGB in 1990 and became a public critic of the Communist system.
Oleg Kalugin: “Putin Is a Temporary Twist In History”

Quote:U.W.: In your opinion, what is the difference between Putin’s system
and the Soviet system? Between Stalin’s and Putin's ways of running the country?

The Soviet system was heterogeneous.
There was Stalin’s variety and then Khrushchev’s, Brezhnev’s, Andropov’s and Gorbachev’s.
Each one had its own special traits.
Putin has partly reverted to Stalinist methods.
The difference is that under Stalin repressions were carried out on a mass scale.
He imprisoned and killed hundreds of thousands and millions of people,
while Putin is acting selectively.
He has set up an authoritarian state in Russia again:
his regime is not as bloody but no less criminal than Stalin’s.

Putin's popularity at record high, government-funded poll says

On the one hand, this news is hardly earth-shattering. As data from the Levada Center in the figure below shows (click on it if you want a larger version), Russian President Vladimir Putin has long enjoyed approval ratings that just about any Western leader would envy:

Finally, as the authors of the paper note, the study has nothing to say about the depth of the support for Putin. It might be that the 80 percent of Russians whom the list experiment suggest support Putin are fervent supporters who will stick with him through thick and thin, and it might be that they are fair-weather supporters who will desert him at the slightest provocation.

I believe that it is entirely possible that we are witnessing the beginning a national trend. The globalists have put America into a dire state politically, economically and socially. At some point, self-preservation will kick in and the people will rebel in greater numbers.

Putin's popularity at record high, government-funded poll says
The Russian Public Opinion Research Center Rofl
said Putin's high popularity trumped his previous record of 89.1% in June.

That is a Kremlin Whip funded popularity poll, ... noted as a "government funded" poll in the link.

Quote:The center said the poll of 1,600 people ...

Russians are expected to have to spend half of their salaries just on food in 2015.
The International Monetary Fund forecasts that Russia's economy
is set to contract by 3% this year and 1% in 2016

he won't be too popular too long when the Kremlin can't afford to fix the toilets  Tp

Rampant inflation means Russians are spending half of their incomes on food this year

Russian inflation is now back over 15% for the first time since 2008
and self-imposed import sanctions on food from the EU are biting hard,
driving up food prices in particular.

Most amazing about the surge in Russian food spending
is that it is not confined to this year or last:
The share has been steadily climbing each year since at least 2007, when it sat at just 25%.

Russians now spend more as a portion of their incomes on food
than some much poorer countries:
Kenyans spend less than 50%,
while those in China and India,
with per-capita incomes far lower than Russia's, spend less than 30%.

Compared with those of advanced economies, the figures are eye-watering:
The latest numbers suggest UK households spent about 11% to 12% of their incomes on food in 2012.
Those in the US spent just 6.4%.

The extent of Russia's economic turmoil is raising memories of the 1998 financial crisis,
during which food prices also took off (inflation rose to nearly 100% the year afterward).
That crisis helped to force Boris Yeltsin out of office,
and Russia had to ask the international community for food aid.
Food crises also helped to speed up the collapse of the Soviet Union in the early 1990s.

The ease or difficulty in getting hold of enough food has been a major constant in Russian political history.

Putin's game is propaganda.
That is a big part of the Syrian war effort.

Putin doesn't have the big oil money in his back pocket anymore.
He has Russia hemorrhaging cold cash and now he is in a financial sinkhole in Syria.

Napoleon Putin has hard times coming for Russia,
he could be creating his own Russian winter that will defeat himself.

Quote:The terrorists made a nice Christmas present for Hillary: a propaganda video featuring Donald Trump! Just like she said!
So here’s the sequence of events. You tell me if this seems suspicious or not:
First, Hillary Clinton claims that terrorists are using Donald Trump in their propaganda videos. It was a lie. There were no videos of Donald Trump on any terrorist propaganda videos.
There were however, propaganda videos featuring Hillary’s husband Bill Clinton.
Now, terrorists have produced a brand new video featuring – guess who? – Donald Trump.
Did Hillary give the terrorists a cool new idea? Did someone from the Hillary campaign make some not-subtle suggestions to someone, somewhere, that a propaganda video with Donald Trump would be really great right now? You know … to pull her ass out of the fire?
Because the timing is really odd.
Just two weeks ago at a debate, Hillary said “[Terrorists] are going to people showing them videos of Donald Trump insulting Islam and Muslims in order to recruit more radical jihadists.” Donald Trump called her a liar, the leftist media even called her a liar and she was forced to look really stupid and apologize or really stupid and refuse to apologize.
She chose to look really stupid.

The brand new video – almost an hour long – is produced by al-Shabab, al-Qaeda’s Somalia franchise. It’s almost an hour long and about ten minutes in uses a soundbite from Trump’s speech last month calling for a “total and complete shutdown” of Muslims entering the country. Here’s how CBS News reports it:
Quote:Preceding the Trump clip, a bite from the now-deceased al-Qaeda leader Anwar al-Awlaki, who was killed in a U.S. airstrike in Yemen in 2011, warns “Muslims of the West” to be cautious and “learn from the lessons of history.”
“There are ominous clouds gathering in your horizon,” al-Awlaki says in English. “Yesterday, America was a land of slavery, segregation, lynching, and Ku Klux Klan. And tomorrow it will be a land of religious discrimination and concentration camps. ”
The video then cuts to a clip from Trump’s South Carolina rally, where the GOP contender’s comments are met with loud applause: “And so remember this. So listen. Donald J. Trump is calling for a total and complete shutdown of Muslims entering the United States until our country’s representatives can figure out what the — is going on.”

Trump’s expletive is bleeped out.
The video returns to Al-Awlaki, who adds, “The West will eventually turn against its Muslim citizens.”
The video is being distributed by a Twitter account that claims to be part of the “Global Islamic Media Front.” Trying to actually video is difficult (impossible for me) due to the weird re-directs and other video sites you’re required to sign up with.
The SITE Intelligence Group discovered the video.
Nevertheless, isn’t it amazing that only weeks after Hillary is caught in a lie that Donald Trump is featured in terrorist videos, the terrorists make a video featuring Donald Trump?
I knew Hillary had supporters and friends around the globe – I just didn’t know how diverse they were.
I wonder if she’ll send a “thank you” card. Maybe a nice fruit basket.

Kasich and Rubio slammed Chris Christie pretty good with facts in recent comments.

Chris Christie ... aka Jabba the Smut ... punches back at Rubio with venom.
Christie hits back: Rubio can’t ‘slime his way to the White House’

Meanwhile the Cruz campaign is scraping the pickle barrel for some vinegar on Rubio
Cruz camp mocks Rubio's 'high-heeled booties'

Quote:“A Vote for Marco Rubio Is a Vote for Men’s High-Heeled Booties,”
Rick Tyler, Cruz’s communications director, tweeted Tuesday,

Rubio meanwhile gets some endorsments
but runs with some contradictory policy to those endorsers  Hmm2

so this is quite interesting as Rubio gains support from Senators that voted contrary to his ideals
Marco Rubio's surveillance attacks also hit his allies

Quote:Marco Rubio has cited efforts to roll back surveillance powers
as a key line of attack against his opponents in the presidential race.

"If ISIS had lobbyists in Washington,
they would have spent millions to support the anti-intelligence law
that was just passed with the help of some Republicans now running for president,"
the freshman senator said Monday in a national security speech in New Hampshire.

But as he amps up his rhetoric,
what Rubio doesn't mention on the trail
is that many of his biggest advocates in Congress
have been outspoken supporters of the very bill Rubio is attacking Texas Sen. Ted Cruz for backing.

One of those lawmakers is Rep. Darrell Issa, R-California,
who was stumping for Rubio on Tuesday and Wednesday in New Hampshire.

Another is Rep. Trey Gowdy, R-South Carolina,
who endorsed Rubio over the holidays and campaigned for him in Iowa last week.

Both were original co-sponsors of the very legislation Rubio has repeatedly criticized on the trail.

Rubio, who has positioned himself as the national security candidate since the Paris terror attacks,
has repeatedly attacked that vote on the campaign trail,
saying Cruz and fellow GOP candidate and Sen. Rand Paul
support weakening the U.S. military and intelligence community.

"It is easy to talk tough on national security,"
Rubio said Tuesday in Iowa.
"You can't make the sands glow in the dark if you don't have bombs.
You can't attack terrorists if you don't know where they are."

The "sands glow in the dark" line is a direct reference to Cruz --

who used the imagery in December to describe how he'll attack ISIS.

But while Rubio has clashed with Cruz on surveillance,
he has ignored the fact that his surrogates were as strong advocates of the same bill as Cruz.

"While no piece of legislation is perfect,
the USA Freedom Act is critical to ending the unacceptable status quo
and better protects Americans' civil liberties," Gowdy said in a press release in May.

"The USA Freedom Act should be counted as a victory for those fighting for civil liberties
and increased government transparency," Issa said in a May statement.

On the Senate side,

two of the three senators
who have endorsed Rubio were also supportive of the bill.
Sen. Steve Daines, R-Montana, was an original co-sponsor of the legislation,
and Sen. Cory Gardner, R-Colorado, voted in favor of it.

Rubio has to outscore Christie in NH and do well in SC.
He needs to show some gains on Cruz,
and he got that with the senatorial endorsements from those senators whose votes were contrary Rubio,
which is very interesting and good for Rubio's campaign right now.

The race begins to get hot fast now.

This crowd shot from Donald Trump’s Massachusetts rally is absolutely mind-boggling

Quote:By Chris Cillizza January 5
Donald Trump went to Lowell, Mass. — a town about five miles south of the New Hampshire border — for one of his now-trademark big-arena rallies on Monday night. This is what the crowd looked like per WaPo's Jenna Johnson.
The building — named after the late Massachusetts Sen. Paul Tsongas (D) — holds 8,000 people, and local officials were estimating that it was filled to capacity or beyond. That is a MASSIVE amount of people — especially considering that the high temperature in Lowell yesterday was 29 degrees and Trump's rally didn't start until the evening.
This is what the line to get in looked like.

Connor Boyack: Federal government tells parents they are inferior
By Connor Boyack
For the Deseret News
Published: Tuesday, Jan. 5 2016 12:05 a.m. MST
Quote:Parents, ask yourself this question: who has stewardship over your child — you, or the government? Think it’s you? Apparently, the federal government disagrees.
In a draft policy statement jointly issued by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and the U.S. Department of Education, federal bureaucrats have — on their own initiative — subordinated parents to a secondary role in the rearing of their children. While the draft is neither finalized nor binding (yet), it serves as a clear shot across the bow of every freedom-loving parent who naively believes that his parenting principles, priorities and practices will be protected and respected by government.
The entire purpose of the 18-page statement is to explain, promote and bureaucratically implement what the departments call “family engagement.” This term sounds like something every good parent would inherently want, but here’s how the government defines it: “the systematic inclusion of families as partners in children’s development, learning and wellness.”
That’s right: the government is going to include you, the parent, as a partner in rearing your child. Are we supposed to thank it for this privilege?
Utah law stands at odds with the whim of these bureaucratic busybodies. Section 53A-15-1403 states that “a student's parent or guardian is the primary person responsible for the education of the student, and the state is in a secondary and supportive role to the parent or guardian.”
So, expect a conflict in the near future between this affirmation and the taxpayer-funded, highly organized and near-conspiratorial federal effort to intervene in your family’s life. While the departments’ policies provide “recommendations” to states and public schools and “highlight” resources made available to them, this will — as it always does — inevitably turn into mandates and threats.
The philosophical foundation for this aggressive intervention into family life was established centuries ago with the "parens patria" doctrine — Latin for “parent of the nation” — whereby government asserts the authority, as the ultimate parent, to intervene against an abusive or negligent parent in the interest of protecting the child.
The thinking behind this legal doctrine is evident in the federal government’s desire to regulate and manage parenting practices. The policy statement in question refers to the importance of Parent Training Information Centers and calls on schools to “conduct periodic home visits.” Noting that the “health and mental health” of parents plays a factor in “parenting and children’s outcomes,” the federal bureaucracy calls on government to “promot(e) their wellness alongside their children’s.”
Critics of the so-called “nanny state” are seeing their worst nightmare become reality.
Even worse, the feds are calling for a detailed database containing reports of “family engagement,” including assessments of the relationships between teachers and families. Be careful not to dissent or speak out too loudly — your “mental health” might be called into question, and by extension, your parenting. What might the government do to your child when that happens?
A large percentage of Americans support the government’s involvement in, and taxpayer subsidization of, the education of tens of millions of children each year. Proponents argue that an educated citizenry benefits us all, and therefore empowering government to discharge this duty is justified. Now, power-hungry government underlings have extended the logic of this argument to the role of parenthood itself.
Society benefits not only from educated children, they’ll say, but well-adjusted, mentally healthy, socially “normal” children as well. Thus we see the proverbial “camel’s nose in the tent” arguing that “family engagement” is a priority for which parents will be “included” as “partners.” Think Common Core is bad? It appears Common Parenting is on the horizon.
A well-known African proverb states, “It takes a village to raise a child.” The federal government similarly states, “Raising the next generation is a shared responsibility.” Of course, in a proverbial village, the child is supported by caring and helpful neighbors who clearly recognize that the parents are in charge. The government may claim that parenting is a “shared responsibility,” but at the end of the day, they are parens patriae.
James Madison once wrote, “It is proper to take alarm at the first experiment on our liberties … The free men of America did not wait till usurped power had strengthened itself by exercise, and entangled the question in precedents. They saw all the consequences in the principle, and they avoided the consequences by denying the principle. We revere this lesson too much soon to forget it.”
Time will tell whether Utah parents have forgotten this foundational lesson — to object at the “first experiment” on the rights of parents to be primary providers and caretakers of their children.

Quote:US President Barack Obama must tell American citizens why Cuba has in its possession a US missile, Senator Marco Rubio said in a letter to US Assistant State Secretary for the Western Hemisphere Affairs Bureau Roberta Jackson.

WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — Rubio’s letter came after US Southern Commander General John Kelly told reporters on Friday that the United States has no idea where the US missile, accidentally sent to Cuba, is.
"I urge you to provide the above information to Congress as quickly as possible," Rubio stated on Friday.
On Thursday, the Wall Street Journal reported that an inert air-to-surface Hellfire missile produced by the United States and intended for training purposes in Europe, was wrongly shipped to Cuba in 2014.
"The fact that the administration, including you, have apparently tried to withhold this information from the congressional debate and public discussion over US-Cuba policy is disgraceful," Rubio stated.
US authorities have tried to retrieve the missile from the Cuban government for over a year, according to media reports. The officials have also been working on establishing what actions led to the mistake.

“They are spinning up as we speak.” U.S. Department of Defense Chief of Staff Jeremy Bash Tuesday, September 11, 2012, 7:19 PM
(Washington, DC) – Judicial Watch today released a new Benghazi email from then-Department of Defense Chief of Staff Jeremy Bash to State Department leadership immediately offering “forces that could move to Benghazi” during the terrorist attack on the U.S. Special Mission Compound in Benghazi, Libya on September 11, 2012. In an email sent to top Department of State officials, at 7:19 p.m. ET, only hours after the attack had begun, Bash says, “we have identified the forces that could move to Benghazi. They are spinning up as we speak.” The Obama administration redacted the details of the military forces available, oddly citing a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) exemption that allows the withholding of “deliberative process” information.
Bash’s email seems to directly contradict testimony given by then-Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta before the Senate Armed Services Committee in February 2013. Defending the Obama administration’s lack of military response to the nearly six-hour-long attack on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi, Panetta claimed that “time, distance, the lack of an adequate warning, events that moved very quickly on the ground prevented a more immediate response.”
The first assault occurred at the main compound at about 9:40 pm local time – 3:40 p.m. ET in Washington, DC.  The second attack on a CIA annex 1.2 miles away began three hours later, at about 12 am local time the following morning (6 p.m. ET), and ended at approximately 5:15 a.m. local time (11:15 p.m. ET) with a mortar attack that killed security officers Tyrone Woods and Glen Doherty.
The newly released email reads:
Quote:From: Bash, Jeremy CIV SD [REDACTED]
Sent: Tuesday, September 11, 2012 7:19 PM
To: Sullivan, Jacob J; Sherman, Wendy R; Nides, Thomas R
Cc: Miller, James HON OSD POLICY; Wienefeld, James A ADM JSC VCJCS; Kelly, John LtGen SD; martin, dempsey [REDACTED]
Subject: Libya
State colleagues:
I just tried you on the phone but you were all in with S [apparent reference to then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton].
After consulting with General Dempsey, General Ham and the Joint Staff, we have identified the forces that could move to Benghazi. They are spinning up as we speak. They include a [REDACTED].
Assuming Principals agree to deploy these elements, we will ask State to procure the approval from host nation. Please advise how you wish to convey that approval to us [REDACTED].
Jacob Sullivan was Deputy Chief of Staff to Secretary of State Hillary Clinton at the time of the terrorist attack at Benghazi.  Wendy Sherman was Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs, the fourth-ranking official in the U.S. Department of State. Thomas Nides was the Deputy Secretary of State for Management and Resources.
The timing of the Bash email is particularly significant based upon testimony given to members of Congress by Gregory Hicks, Deputy Chief of Mission of the U.S. embassy in Tripoli at the time of the Benghazi terrorist attack. According to Hicks’ 2013 testimony, a show of force by the U.S. military during the siege could have prevented much of the carnage. Said Hicks, “if we had been able to scramble a fighter or aircraft or two over Benghazi as quickly as possible after the attack commenced, I believe there would not have been a mortar attack on the annex in the morning because I believe the Libyans would have split. They would have been scared to death that we would have gotten a laser on them and killed them.”
Ultimately, Special Operations forces on their own initiative traveled from Tripoli to Benghazi to provide support during the attack.  Other military assets were only used to recover the dead and wounded, and to evacuate U.S. personnel from Libya.  In fact, other documents released in October by Judicial Watch show that only one U.S. plane was available to evacuate Americans from Benghazi to Tripoli and raise questions about whether a delay of military support led to additional deaths in Benghazi.
The new email came as a result of a Judicial Watch Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit filed on September 4, 2014 (Judicial Watch v. U.S. Department of State (No. 1:14-cv-01511)), seeking:
  • Records related to notes, updates, or reports created in response to the September 11, 2012 attack on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi, Libya. This request includes, but is not limited to, notes taken by then Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton or employees of the Office of the Secretary of State during the attack and its immediate aftermath.
“The Obama administration and Clinton officials hid this compelling Benghazi email for years,” said Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton. “The email makes readily apparent that the military was prepared to launch immediate assistance that could have made a difference, at least at the CIA Annex.  The fact that the Obama Administration withheld this email for so long only worsens the scandal of Benghazi.”

RE: Next President of the United Fates of America - Vianova - 01-09-2016

Note that Rubio is now surging to a solid 2nd place in NH and overall,
{aside from Iowa}
and exceeding the Cruz numbers which are looking like a temporary rise and slow decline.

Cream of Buckwheat Carson's ship is already on the bottom of the sea, and even Bush has increased some.

This surge by Rubio is important and I think that he will retain that position and increase upon it.

The problem is that Trump is too far ahead.
The 2nd problem is that Cruz may be Trump's shadow VP candidate in the long run.

Cruz in unelectable IMO, but Trump may take the nomination.
Rubio really is the best chance the Republicans have against Hillary,
or at least he is on par in potential with Trump.

The Christie numbers will fail after NH.

This is extremely good news for the Rubio team.

The question thus is whether or not Trump can compete with Hillary more so than Rubio.
Both show moments of shallowness on the news fronts.
Trump also stands a good chance of being assassinated.

This is a fairly comprehensive link for polling results over a very wide spectrum,
and compares to earlier results.

the Kasich, Christie and Bush numbers are surprising,
but they will all plummet after NH, especially Christie and Kasich as they all head south to SC.

As long as too many candidates are in the race,
Trump will maintain a large lead.
Several need to drop out to realign the numbers more evenly.

very interesting Hmm2

Quote:Depending on which politicians or pundits you listen to, Democrats are either eager to run against Donald Trump in November, or worried about the prospect.
Either way, the results of a new poll should set off alarms all over Democratland.
According to an online poll conducted by Mercury Analytics, a research company whose clients include MSNBC and Fox News, 20% of Democrats would defect for Trump.
Conversely, only 14% of Republicans said they would consider voting for Clinton.
Ron Howard, the company’s CEO and a Democrat, described the potential problem for Democrats to U.S. News & World Report:
Quote:“The challenge to Hillary, if Trump is the nominee and pivots to the center in the general election as a problem-solving, independent-minded, successful ‘get it done’ businessman, is that Democrats will no longer be able to count on his personality and outrageous sound bites to disqualify him in the voters’ minds.”
As if these results weren’t troublesome enough for the Clinton camp, the latest Real Clear Politics poll shows The Donald leading Hillary, 47%-43%.

Report: FBI Now Investigating Hillary’s State Department For Corruption

Chuck Ross 10:56 AM 01/11/2016T

The FBI is investigating whether Hillary Clinton’s State Department improperly directed contracts to Clinton Foundation donors, in possible violation of public corruption laws, Fox News is reporting.

Three sources confirmed the previously-unknown investigation angle to Fox reporters Catherine Herridge and Pamela Browne.
“The agents are investigating the possible intersection of Clinton Foundation donations, the dispensation of State Department contracts and whether regular processes were followed,” one law enforcement source told Fox.
Examples abound of Clinton’s State Department opening doors for Clinton Foundation donors, as well as to the then-secretary of state’s friends and political allies.

According to one Fox source, the FBI opened its public corruption probe in April 2015, months before the bureau officially opened its investigation of Clinton’s use of a private email server to maintain her email account. Investigators seized Clinton’s server from a New Jersey data center in August after two “top secret” emails discovered on the device.

Another Fox source says that approximately 100 special agents have been assigned to the investigation and were asked to sign non-disclosure agreements. The purpose of that step is unclear — it could be that FBI officials want to protect classified information or that they want to prevent leaks about the case.

FBI director James Comey has said that he is taking the investigation very seriously and says that politics will not play a factor in the probe.

According to one Fox intelligence source, prosecution should be pursued in the case because “many previous public corruption cases have been made and successfully prosecuted with much less evidence than what is emerging in this investigation.”

Clinton’s ability to skirt State Department protocol, which generally provides email accounts to its employees upon their hire, is also “increasingly significant,” a former State Department official told Fox. (RELATED: Mysterious Clinton Talking Points Likely Dealt With Volatile Standoff In Sudan Oil Region)

“It is virtually automatic when one comes on board at the State Department to be assigned an email address,” the source told the network.

“It would have taken an affirmative act Naughty  not to have one assignedand it would also mean it was all planned out before she took office. This certainly raises questions about the so-called legal advice she claimed to have received from inside the State Department that what she was doing was proper,” the source continued.

Neither Clinton nor the State Department have said who, if anyone, approved Clinton’s exclusive use of a personal email account. The Democratic presidential hopeful has implied in some interviews that she made the decision alone. And while dozens of State Department officials knew that Clinton used the personal email account, it is still unclear how many knew that she maintained a private server.

Reince Priebus, the chairman of the Republican National Committee, responded to the news of the new probe in a statement.

“The reported expansion of the FBI’s investigation into Hillary Clinton’s secret email server to include public corruption is a very troubling development,” he said.

“The favoritism toward donors to Clinton’s family foundation from her own State Department is undeniable and Democrats must now be rethinking whether it was smart to put all of their eggs in one basket.”

Quote:Leading senators on Monday petitioned multiple Obama administration agencies to stop stonewalling a congressional investigation into the immigration histories of at least 113 foreign-born individuals implicated in terrorist operations after legally entering the United States, according to a copy of the letters.
The latest investigation comes just days after the Washington Free Beacon disclosed that an additional 41 foreign-born individuals who legally entered the United States had been arrested for planning a number of terror attacks.
Sens. Ted Cruz (R., Texas) and Jeff Sessions (R., Ala.) disclosed Monday that they had been pressuring the Obama administration for months to disclose the immigration histories of these foreign-born individuals implicated in terror plots.
Agencies including the Departments of State and Homeland Security have stonewalled these efforts, declining since mid-2015 to provide Congress additional information. This move has prompted speculation among lawmakers that the administration is withholding information to prevent the exposure of major gaps in the U.S. screening process for new immigrants.
“The American people are entitled to information on the immigration history of terrorists seeking to harm them,” Cruz and Sessions wrote to the secretaries of State and Homeland Security and the attorney general.
Similar requests for information issued sent in August and again in December have not been answered by the administration
The letter cites a recent Free Beacon report detailing that an additional 41 foreign-born individuals had been snagged on terrorism-related charges since 2014. The disclosure of these previously unknown accused terrorists brings the total number of foreigners brought up on terrorism charges to 113.
Sessions and Cruz note that at least 14 of those foreigners accused of terrorism were granted legal entrance to the United States as refugees.
“Many more came through other immigration programs,” they wrote. “A number of immigrant terrorists were even approved for citizenship. Others are the U.S.-born children of foreign migrants whose presence in the country would not be possible but for the immigration of their parents.”
Many of these recently implicated foreigners have been caught by authorities planning terrorist attacks on American soil, while others were found to be involved in efforts to provide funding and material to ISIS, according to an internal list of migrant terrorists codified by congressional sources and viewed by the Free Beacon.
Cruz and Sessions are requesting that the agencies in question fill out a chart that includes only partial information about the 113 accused terrorists.
A senior congressional aide familiar with the investigation said the soaring rate of immigration is taking a toll on the U.S. security establishment.
“The cost of high rates of Muslim immigration are clear: enormous security challenges combined with vast expenses to track and convict those here attempting to wound Americans,” the source said.
The letter comes amid a debate over immigration and an Obama administration plan to boost the number of refugees granted residence in the United States. Under the administration’s plan, an additional 170,000 new migrants from Muslim-majority countries will enter the country in 2016.
As these agencies continue to ignore requests for information, the senators blasted the Obama administration for “continuing to stonewall the request even after a follow-up letter was sent subsequent to the San Bernardino terrorist attack.”
The administration has still not provided senators further information about the immigration histories of the two attackers who went on a shooting spree late last year in San Bernardino, California.
After the attack, it was discovered that both had legally immigrated to the United States, despite expressing support on social media for ISIS.
Last week, the Justice Department indicted two Iraqi refugees living in the United States legally of conspiring to provide material support to ISIS.
Additionally, a Philadelphia police officer was ambushed by an assailant sporting “Muslim garb and wearing a mask,” according to local reports. It was later determined that the individual had pledged allegiance to ISIS.

the republican boneheads are debating soon tonite.

looks like it is at 9 pm EST --- 6 PM PST

No Rand Paul is ridiculous, but I don;t blame him for not participating.
what ...?
Christie and Bush get to the prime time but Paul doesn't?

Fox News is a cesspool of bullshit.

none the less --- watch the questions from Fox moderators be a pyramid of bullshit as well.

I want to see who says what about Iranian aggression.
Who says what about the huge excess refugees of refugees and Ghouls into Europe.
Who says what about Assad and Putin.

the economy is going to tank, no matter who wins,
and no amount of monkey business banking will alleviate what is coming

Trump is going to run out of his grandiose guarantees soon enough,
and he will see the competition come closer.

This is Rubio's big chance to shine,
and he needs to look like the sunshine on steroids illuminating the tunnel of darkness,
while shit kicking the rest of the shit heads into the gutter.

Trump will play coy as he begins to run out of choochoo in his model toy train campaign promises.

Cruz has the finest tightrope to walk of all of them,
and for once Bush can relax temporarily in the throat of toilet,
because the big flush is coming to draino his candidacy back to the sewer it came from.

Carson will try and hot sauce his Cream of Buckwheat bullshit and it will fail.

Christie will suck his own dick to get attention, and he will fade after NH.

Kasich is kind of a like a left testicle looking at a right testicle asking the other where the bone goes.

Thank God they got rid if the Aluminum Foil Lady and she is now on the first debate.
