This:
CNN is doing everything they can do to dump on Trump.
Most of the Trump images they post are not flattering and often portray him as a careless bully.
Aside from that,
Trump got endorsed by David Duke Rofl of the KKK,
and Trump did not handle the game ball well there, and that is bad timing.
He will have to squirm today in speeches to get out of that one.
Trump should know better by now.
He is over confident and big dick cocky right now,
but today he somewhat zipped up on himself with the Donald still hanging out of his pants,
and right into the CNN trap.
He somewhat does this shit on purpose,
but at some point there are diminishing returns on big dick politics,
and best to zip up safely.

It is nonstop CNN Trump takedown tactics all day on this issue.
here is their video

Rubio is all over it and trying to cash in.

then this:
absolute mayhem

Ku Klux Klan rally in Anaheim erupts in violence; 3 are stabbed and 13 arrested

Quote:A Klansman in handcuffs could be heard telling a police officer that he “stabbed him in self-defense.”
Several other people were also handcuffed.

Witnesses said the Klansmen used the point of a flagpole as a weapon Lol
while fighting with protesters.

Two other protesters were stabbed during the melee —
one with a knife and the other with an unidentified weapon,
said Sgt. Daron Wyatt of the Anaheim Police Department.

Brian Levin,
director of Cal State San Bernardino's Center for the Study of Hate and Extremism,
said he was standing near the KKK members
when several protesters attacked them with two-by-fours and other weapons.

Several of the Klan members jumped in the SUV and sped off,

leaving three others to “fend for themselves,” Rofl
Levin said.

They see themselves as a “Klan without robes”
and model themselves after David Duke  Horsepoop
the Louisiana-based former grand wizard of the Klan, Levin said.

Levin said he was standing next to Quigg
when a crowd of protesters swarmed the Klan members. Bricks

Levin said he pushed the Klan leader away as the violence continued,
and a protester was stabbed.

Levin said he asked Quigg,
“How do you feel that a Jewish guy just saved your life?” Lol

“Thank you,” the Klan leader replied, according to Levin.

A few minutes later,
a crowd of about 100 people cheered when police handcuffed Quigg and one of his followers.

Many people at the park demanded to know why Anaheim police
did not have a larger presence before the violence broke out.

“It was the longest few minutes between when the SUV was attacked

and when the police responded in droves,” Levin said.

The Klan rally — to decry, as one of them put it,
“illegal immigration and Muslims” — was initially planned for 1:30 p.m., police said.

Six Klan members (five men and one woman)
and seven protesters (six men and one woman) were arrested, Wyatt said.

The Klan members were arrested in connection with the stabbings, he said.
The protesters were arrested on charges related to physical assaults on Klan members.
The stab victims were in stable condition, Wyatt said.

All could face charges of assault with a deadly weapon,
though Wyatt said “some people could have a self-defense claim.”
He did not say if he was referring to the Klan members or the protesters.

What a grand American TV show this election is.
Media event extraordinaire by Donald Trump.
Today he wanted to change laws so that he can sue news organizations for libel.

Lol

According to yesterday’s New York Times, Fox News joined with Senators Marco Rubio and Chuck Schumer in 2013 to soft pedal criticism of the Gang of 8 Amnesty bill to give it a chance of getting through Congress.
The notorious Gang of 8 bill would have provided a pathway to U.S. citizenship for 11 million illegal aliens, the provisions of which were being attacked mercilessly by conservatives in Congress.
The previously un-reported agreement was made on Jan. 17, 2013 at a dinner meeting with the two senators in the dining room at the News Corp Manhattan headquarters with FNC owner, Rupert Murdoch and its CEO, Roger Ailes.

At that meeting, Ailes and Murdoch warned the senators that powerful radio talk show host, Rush Limbaugh would have to be brought on board.
According to a Washington Post report, the Rubio team scurried back to Washington and monitored subsequent Fox broadcasts on the amnesty topic on a minute-by-minute chart and were heartened that the Fox News anchors Sean Hannity and Bill O’Reilly became more supportive.
Fox News – known as FNC - built its rise to power on being the only significant conservative television news channel in its early years, despite the left-leaning tendencies of its owner, Rupert Murdoch. Murdoch has advocated immigration reform in the past.
Starting in 1996, Fox News has built a news team of conservative refugees anxious to escape the lock-step, left-wing, mainstream media in the US, starting with its CEO, Roger Ailes.

Last June, Ailes signed a new $7-million-dollar-a-year contract with Murdoch, expiring in 2018.
However, a more leftist approach is inevitable at Fox News because as of July 1st, 2015, 84-year-old Murdoch has turned over day-to-day operations of Fox’s parent company, 21st Century Fox to his two sons, Lanchen and James Murdoch – both of whom are said to have a much more leftist world view.
A recent Buzz Index release showed that FNC has already lost considerable prestige among the US right wing. This month, its Buzz rating hit a 3-year low, down a whopping 50% from only a month ago.
And a Buzz graph comparing approval of Republicans vs Democrats shows that approval is declining among Republicans, and gradually gaining ground with Democrats.

Many believe that if Fox continues down the leftist path, that its core supporters will continue to abandon it and eventually will coalesce around a new entrant into the cable-TV news field headed by Breitbart News Network chief Stephen K. Bannon and his chief funder, billionaire Robert Mercer, a major supporter of Ted Cruz.
Bannon is a former Surface Warfare Officer in the U.S. Navy who Glenn Beck yesterday compared to Nazi propagandist Joseph Goebbels.
These are serious allegations that Fox News anchors Bill O’Reilly and Sean Hannity need to respond to on air, and Chief News anchor Bret Baier needs to cover as a news item.
I’m Still reporting from Washington. Good day.

Beck endorsed Cruz for president.
That is interesting about the right wing TV channel in direct competition to FOX.

Megyn Kelly is still a Fox News Whore, but I like her that way Smoke

Trump wants to more easily sue news organizations.

Trump "disavows" KKK, after dicking about aimlessly on CNN.

Sanders and Clinton are hammering on Trump with the KKK issue.

Trump will have to pomp up some love the negro rhetoric.
I can hear him now:

they are fantastic people,
I love them all,
they are all really fantastic people ... Lol
I hired lots of black workers on my real estate projects,

Bombshell: Roger Stone reveals establishment using Mitt Romney as Plan B if Rubio fails!

Insiders who were at a recent meeting between the Koch Bros. and Marco Rubio leaked intel on how exactly they’re going to try and steal the election from Donald Trump, GOP strategist Roger Stone revealed.

The Koch Bros. met with GOP millionaires and billionaires Thursday night to pool together over $75 million to stop Trump and are going to use Mitt Romney as ‘Plan B’ if Rubio fails to gain traction on Super Tuesday, according to moles who were inside the meeting.

“$75 million to stop Trump and $25 million to Marco Rubio, but they gave Rubio a condition: he’s got to win the Florida primary or he’s out and Mitt Romney’s in,” Stone revealed. “That’s the plan.”

“First they’ll ramp up an enormous, negative campaign on TV against Trump and they’re going to hit this phony Trump University issue,” he continued. “They claim to have personal dirt on Trump – I doubt that – and they are also going to try and delve into his business affairs, but if Rubio fails to grab the Florida primary, then Rubio’s out and Mitt Romney’s in.”

“The plan is for Romney to file for the New Jersey, New York and California primaries in an all-out ditch effort to stop Donald Trump and you heard it here on Infowars.com.”

Additionally, Marco Rubio’s wife called Ted Cruz’s wife, Heidi, to desperately beg Cruz to exit the race and aid Rubio, but Heidi said no, Stone said.

“The power structure’s desperate, the Rubio and Cruz teams are going back and forth but they can’t agree as to who will be the candidate,” he added. “I still believe Mitt Romney is totally dressed up, already made up, waiting in the wings… to step in as the last, best hope of the ‘stop Trump’ movement, and frankly I think Trump will bulldoze him as well.”

THE ANGER VOTE! Americans Are Mad! Really Mad!! Here’s Why!!!

‘Kelly File’ Focus Group Provides Insight On Why The ‘Anger Vote’ Is So Powerful This Year

THE ANGER VOTE!

There is a Storm Brewing In America this year, and Donald Trump Seems To Have The Answer.

While Trump is increasing in popularity with each passing day, there may be something else at play that has the votes piling up. It may have less to do with his competence or incompetence, and more to do with the overwhelming disappointment people have with everything political over the past seven years.

When asked how mad they were, more than half of Americans said they were “Mad As Hell” and not going to take it any more. Now that the South Carolina primaries are over residents were asked why they are “Mad As Hell.” This is what they had to say:

Screen Shot 2016-02-26 at 2.49.04 AM

“Right now we are looking at a situation where we are paying as much for refugees and immigrants in this country as we are paying for our veteran’s care right now, 168 Billion per year.”

“Our health care is going straight down the toilet, we can’t convince our doctors to see patients, our military is not being supported and our borders are open.”

“It’s not fair, people losing jobs, people losing money, I can’t afford health care anymore.”

“What bothers me the most in this country is that you can’t even speak the truth anymore.”

“I could never have imagined in eight year in my country that I could have seen such a huge cultural change. It’s an overwhelming umbrella over everything; how we treat our veterans, how we treat our older people, how we’re educating our children, or not educating them, and how we treat one another.”

“How many if you could would throw every member of Congress out, every incumbent, and start over?”

That is just about all of you. If they’re watching in Washington you’re in big big trouble.

http://www.thefederalistpapers.org/us/republicans-voting-in-record-numbers-democrats-not-so-much
Quote:Republicans Voting In RECORD NUMBERS, Democrats – Not So Much
By Robert Gehl

While Hillary supporters revel in her blowout of Bernie Sanders in the South Carolina Democratic primary, they face a much larger problem come November.

There’s a massive enthusiasm gap between Democrats and Republicans playing out across the country and it may just propel any GOP nominee to victory.

Since 2008, Democrats have seen a 26 percent drop in turnout in the state primaries and caucuses.

In South Carolina, for example, only 367,000 Democrats showed up to vote Saturday, while more than 532,000 turned out in 2008, The Daily Caller is reporting.

Last week in Nevada, the caucuses told the same story. In 2008, an estimated 120,000 Democrats turned out to have their voices heard. This year the number was 80,000.

The decrease in the Feb. 9 New Hampshire primaries saw turnout fall as well, though the least of the four Democratic contests so far. In 2008, 288,672 Democrats voted. In 2016, 250,983 did so. That marks a 13 percent decline. Sanders won handily, taking 60 percent of the vote to Clinton’s 38 percent.

Just over 171,000 Iowa Democrats took part in the Feb. 1 caucuses. That’s 29 percent fewer than the estimated 240,000 who showed up in 2008. That resulted in a tie, with Hillary declared victor by a half-dozen lucky coin tosses.
All told, about 1.18 million Democrats across those first four states went to the polls in 2008. Just under 870,000 showed up this go-round.

By contrast, on the Republican side, by this time in 2012, just over one million showed up to vote in the first four caucuses. This year, almost 1.27 million Republicans have cast a ballot.

Hillary destroyed Sen. Bernie Sanders in South Carolina with a three-to-one victory of 74 percent to Bernie’s 26 percent.

Analysts say Hillary will be able to “run the table” in the South after successfully painting Bernie as unconcerned with the plight of African Americans, despite his long history of activism in the civil rights movement.

On the Republican side, Donald Trump has won 31.8 percent of all votes cast. Second is Ted Cruz, with a slight advantage over Marco Rubio, at 20.6 percent to 19.7 percent. John Kasich has 8.6 percent of the vote and Dr. Ben Carson has 6.4 percent of the vote.

Quote:Sunday at the Nation of Islam, Louis Farrakhan said don’t “fall” for Democartic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton’s “crap” on African-American issues because she and her husband, former President Bill Clinton are responsible for mass incarceration of black people.
Farrakhan said, “How many of you are going to vote for Hillary Clinton? You don’t have to raise your hands. I do not blame you for wanting a female president, but that is a wicked woman. She can be sweet but so can you. And you know when you are sweet but playing a game.  All of a sudden she knows about Trayvon Martin. All of a sudden—the boy’s been dead two years now—she talking about him like she met the mother and oh…  White people this is Satan. And you fall for that crap? Most of you went to jail for having a little blunt. They arranged that—the Clintons. Mass incarceration  came about under the Clintons, Don’t forget that. They call my young gang bangers super predators. And Black Lives Matter put it to her—she didn’t know how to handle that. Call you a super predator, that has no conscience, no sense of  dignity like you are a dog, an animal. She gotta bring you to heal you my young brothers. This is what she said about you and she didn’t just say it—it became law and policy of the U.S. government under Bill Clinton and his wife, and now she is apologizing, but apologizing can’t bring back the broken families. Apologizing cant bring back those that been destroyed in prison life.”

He explained to show host John Catsimatidis, “Trump, even as he criticizes and throws out charges and all that kind of thing, he always ends up on an upbeat note about the USA. People want that, people want to hear that. Those who make peaceful revolution impossible make violent revolution inevitable.
John Fitzgerald Kennedy
And the following advice came from Don Vito Corleone in the Godfather movie as a warning to Mafia chieftains at an organized crime peace summit:
“But let me say this. I am a superstitious man, a ridiculous failing but I must confess it here. And so if some unlucky accident should befall my youngest son, if some police officer should accidentally shoot him, if he should hang himself while in his jail cell, if new witnesses appear to testify to his guilt, my superstition will make me feel that it was the result of the ill will still borne me by some people here. Let me go further. If my son is struck by a bolt of lightning I will blame some of the people here. If his plane should fall into the sea or his ship sink beneath the waves of the ocean, if he should catch a mortal fever, if his automobile should be struck by a train, such is my superstition that I would blame the ill will felt by people here. Gentlemen, that ill will, that bad luck, I could never forgive.”
Anyone with the intelligence of a toad can figure out that one of the primary reasons why the world’s economy is entering the worst Depression in 500 years is because we have phenomenal levels of corruption.
We can see widespread condemnation of Trump from people who defend Open Borders and illegal immigration. We know that $8.5 trillion in Defense Department spending cannot be accounted for because the DOD has failed to implement proper accounting procedures. Donald Rumsfeld had promised us a new accounting system on September 10, 2001 on the CBS Evening News when he had announced a mere $2.3 trillion in government spending had vanished into the ether. This organized pilfering of taxpayer money has been allowed by both Republican and Democrat Presidents, Senators and Congressmen. And people inside Washington D.C. wonder why we do not like them.
Hillary is the personification of corruption. She has collected billions in bribes through her Clinton Foundation. She is so arrogant that she had her daughter Chelsea run her operation exposing her only child to criminal charges. Hillary is unlikely to ever be jailed for her many crimes because she knows enough about Washington deals to send thousands of Republicans and Democrats to jail. President Obama will have to pardon the Clintons including Chelsea or face a lengthy jail term after he leaves office.
The Dream of the Corrupt Ones inside the Republican branch of the sewer that is our nation’s capitol is to have a brokered convention and nominate Mitt Romney for President. The Rothschild owned Economist magazine has told us that Trump must be stopped. But everyday Gentiles just aren’t willing to take orders from the Rothschilds The Romney 2016 candidacy won’t fly. People are catching on to the corruption.
The elite have a Fail Safe plan they have used before. They killed President Kennedy for a variety of reasons. Organized corruption and the Jewish Lobby allowed them to cover up JFK’s assassination. The murder of Robert F Kennedy was even more blatantly a conspiracy run from the inside. Sirhan was standing in front of RFK. The Senator had just won the California primary and was to be the 1968 Democrat nominee for President. The LA Coroner’s report said he was shot in the back at an upward angle with one of the bullets coming from no more than 3 inches away. That rules out Sirhan as an assassin. Martin Luther King Jr was not around to demand a real criminal investigation for RFK’s murder because The Powers That Be had already killed him on April 4, 1968.
On June 18, 2013 the FBI murdered journalist Michael Hastings with a car bomb in Los Angeles. He had been critical of the Obama administration’s policy of using surveillance state techniques to intimidate the press. Killing one more reporter did not stop Seymour Hersh from printing an article in the London Review of Books detailing the US military’s resistance to Obama’s Syria policy. Obama had armed, funded and trained ISIS. ISIS used to be known as Al Qaeda in Iraq. Al Nusra was known as Al Qaeda in Syria. When it came time for ISIS to invade Iraq, Secretary of State John Kerry gave 400 white pickup trucks that met US Special Forces modifications. They gave them to ISIS. Obama refused to bomb ISIS when they could have easily been stopped on the road to Mosul with Air power alone. Iraq had been promised planes from the US but they did not arrive until after Mosul fell. The US has repeatedly bombed Iraqi forces fighting ISIS and also dropped supplies to the terrorists.
Both houses of Congress and the President have passed appropriations for Al Qaeda. The President, both Secretaries Clinton and Kerry and the majority of the Senate and the House have committed treason. How so? The government or should I say the Occupation Group in Washington claims Al Qaeda did 911. It has been against US law since 9, 11 2001 to give aid to Al Qaeda. That means that the President, his administration and the majority of the Senators and Congressmen are traitors. It also means that the mainstream press are guilty of covering up treason.
Americans were lied into a war in Iraq by false intelligence directed from Israel through the Jewish front group, Project for a New American Century. George Bush had decided to invade Afghanistan prior to 911 because he wanted to corner the world’s opium market.
$6 trillion later we as a nation are a lot poorer for the lies the the elite had told us. They want to up the ante and failure to believe known government lies a criminal act.
Donald Trump for whatever reason has in 2016 become the conduit for the justifiable wrath of the American people. If he should die, things will not go well for the elite. Americans own 315 million guns. Wall Street knows we are headed to financial ruin. We could soon have Nationwide Food Riots. The Uber Rich want us to have a Racial Civil War so we destroy each other and not them. But even if only 500,000 armed men go looking for the elite, our oppressors won’t live long.
Just take what you have stolen and run. Though I want the US military to seize the assets of the Bankers and their friends in offshore tax havens.

Quote:Source: Free Thought Project

On the anniversary of the first bombing of the World Trade Center, it’s necessary to revisit Hillary Clinton’s role in banning a film which cast her and former President, Bill Clinton, in an accurately unfavorable light.
Multiple award-winning filmmaker Cyrus Nowrasteh directed the 2006 miniseries, The Path to 9/11, which covered the period of time from the first bombing of the Trade Center on February 26, 1993, to the attacks of September 11, 2001. Nowrasteh included a critical examination of the former President’s inexplicable failure to capture or kill Osama bin Laden on multiple occasions. Despite the series’ popularity and critical acclaim, the Clintons managed to ‘disappear’ the film — essentially banning it in the United States.
“The amazing thing was, the Clintons were able to put pressure on Disney/ABC basically to bury their own movie that they spent $40 million on, The Path to 9/11, which did air once, by the way, over two nights, and was number one in the ratings with 20 million viewers,” Nowrasteh told Brian Sussman on the KSFO Morning Show. “But Disney said it was, quote, ‘a business decision’ — essentially they caved to the Clintons, who, as far as censorship in my experience, are in many ways more effective than the ayatollahs in Iran.”
In fact, pulling the film as a business decision is as effective a guise as a sieve is at holding water. So popular was its first and only broadcast, distribution on other networks and the right to re-air the film would have garnered hefty returns.
“The Clintons made sure that no one can see The Path to 9/11,” Nowrasteh continued, “which is, by the way, the most detailed and informative account” of the time period from 1993 until 2001. Covering that time “in factual detail, which was really the problem for the Clintons because we portray the opportunities that Bill Clinton had to kill bin Laden, and passed on it.”
In 2006, Accuracy in Media reported the censorship effort by Sen. Harry Reid and other Democrats in Congress had such heft, they “went over the line in threatening to revoke ABC’s broadcast license unless changes were made to benefit former President Clinton and officials of his Administration.”
Now, as Hillary’s campaign is dealing with backlash over her statement that she doesn’t believe she’s ever lied to the American public, the censoring of The Path to 9/11 again becomes a pertinent bit of historical context. Rather than taking responsibility for errors and pitfalls of the past, the Clintons choose instead to impose crushing censorship — as if covering the truth will somehow make it disappear.
Nowrasteh noted the Clintons “made sure the DVD was never released of The Path to 9/11, so Americans could not see it; and made sure that it was never rebroadcast — it is basically the only banned film in America.”
When asked by Sussman, based on his experience, how Hillary Clinton would “operate as President of the United States,” Nowrasteh replied, “She’s out … they’re out to silence their critics, as aggressively as they can possibly get away with … and what we know about the Clintons is they get away with a lot.”
Of course, this suppression of the series occurred as a “direct result of [Hillary’s] run for the Presidency — her initial run” in the 2008 election cycle.
Nowrasteh, who is Iranian-American, experienced outright censorship of at least one of his other works, The Stoning of Soraya M., in Iran. Despite that unabashed suppression, smuggled copies of the film still managed to reach an Iranian audience — an option that was physically impossible for The Path to 9/11 in the U.S., thanks to the Clintons and their political supporters.
Sussman zeroed in on this fact to ask the filmmaker, “Which is worse … the blatant censorship in Iran? … Or the sophisticated, backroom censorship here in the United States, conducted by the Clintons?”
“I think the latter is worse, because we know better,” Nowrasteh explained. “This country is founded on freedom of expression, and freedom of artistic expression, and the mainstream media fell in line behind the Clintons.”
And, in the midst of Hillary’s second attempt to win the Presidency, the mainstream media arguably still capitulate and cater to the Clintons.

Not that we don't already have a pretty good idea of where things will be after tomorrow, but I think
the ship of state is in big trouble.
We're in for a very bumpy ride.

Quote:(CNSNews.com) – A new report from the Department of Homeland Security Office of Inspector General (IG) shows that 4 of 11 Forward Operating Bases of the Customs & Border Patrol (CBP) along the southwest border are “not operational”; at several other bases the security cameras do not work, the security gates do not meet standards, and providing safe drinking water for the officers is a recurring problem.

The report, Conditions at CBP’s Forward Operating Bases Along the Southwest Border, also found other problems, including an access road that is “treacherous” and a “safety concern”; air-conditioning that does not work properly; expired fire extinguishers; irregular inspections; and in nearly all these instances, despite numerous work orders, repairs that have not been made over the course of many years.

Incomprehensible outrages at every turn.
A society of insanity demanding license to engage outside the limits of reason and logic simply to please it's desire at every whim.
Universities pandering to five year old mentalities demanding the right to have their opinions not only be addressed, but enforced against the rights of all others who might disagree with them on any level no matter how trivial.
I wonder how close we are to yet another inquisition, but now one coming out of the university communities?
Mob rule on campus?

I recently heard somewhere that there's some effort towards
putting a period at the end of a sentence
(or even other punctuation?)
to be seen as "offensive".
Might be something cooked up within mass media...

Thanks for posting that article,

Trump seems to have just slid by his mishandling of the KKK endorsement on CNN.
Trump is almost tied with Cruz in Texas in some polls,
but I think that Cruz will take Texas.

The earlier article on Mitt Romney possibly jumping into the race was intrigueing,
but I have my doubts on that.

We shall see.
The article clearly pointed to Rubio having to win Florida in two weeks,
but Super Tuesday tomorrow is Rubio's big money movie payday or nayday, IMO.

It is wild to see the Republicans establisment core having a meltdown with Trump's popularity.
They are desperate and worried sick that he may win all, take all, tomorow.

Check out the NYT on an all out rescue Rubio news propaganda twist-n-squirm,

Democrats must do everything they can to prevent Donald Trump’s nomination—

His tax proposals make George W. Bush look fiscally prudent. Lol
He acts as if America can use sanctions, war,

despite the devastating failure of that approach since 9/11.
He has been dishonest and gutless on immigration.
He has flirted with climate-change denial even though his hometown now regularly floods.

Still,

Quote:The Lion and the Sheep
Why they hate Trump
by Justin Raimondo, February 29, 2016
Print This |Share This
On June 14, 1918, a nineteen year old Italian soldier by the name of Bernardo Vicario was ordered by his commander, Carl Rigoli, to carry out a curious task. Outnumbered and outgunned, the Italian forces would soon be hit with a furious bombardment that would mean the death of most of them. Rigoli clearly knew this, which is why he told young Bernardo to write an inscription on the ruined wall of a home in the village of Fagare, where they were holed up:
Better to live one day as a lion than a hundred years as a sheep.”
Rigoli perished in the battle: Bernardo lived to tell the tale. And almost a hundred years later, a researcher looking for ways to smear GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump stumbled across a reference to it and attributed it to Benito Mussolini, the Italian dictator.
A reporter for Gawker, the notorious gossip site that’s been sued for libel more times than I care to discover, had set up a parody Twitter account named “Il Duce,” and the reporter, one Ashley Feinberg, tweeted the not-said-by-Mussolini quote at Trump, who promptly retweeted it. Shortly afterward, Trump was confronted by reporter Chuck Todd, who wanted to know why he was retweeting something said by Mussolini. Trump wouldn’t back down: “It’s a great quote,” he said, quite correctly. That refusal, and the content of the quote itself, underscores and explains why he is winning and why the hysterical smear campaign directed at him and his campaign is failing big-time.
But why – why do they hate him with such ferocity? The accusations of “racism” and the way he speaks without regard for upper class niceties doesn’t explain the intensity of the hatred coming from the journalistic wolf pack and the Washington crowd. After all, shortly after Trump raised the issue of whether we should allow Muslims into the United States, the House of Representatives passed a bill – supported by libertarians like Rand Paul as well as mainline Republicans and Democrats – making it all but impossible for immigrants from Muslim countries to resettle here. It also requires all foreigners who have visited Iraq, Syria or Iran, or who hold dual citizenship from those countries, to apply for a visa before visiting here… Yet we heard very little about that.
So where is all this vitriol coming from? David Stockman, former chief of the Office of Management and Budget under Ronald Reagan, nails it:
“To be sure, there is much that is ugly, superficial and stupid about Donald Trump’s campaign platform, if you can call it that, or loose cannon oratory to be more exact. More on that below, but at the heart of his appeal are two propositions which strike terror in the hearts of the Imperial City’s GOP operatives.
“To wit, he is loudly self-funding his own campaign and bombastically insisting that America is getting a bad deal everywhere in the world.
“The first of these propositions explicitly tells the legions of K-Street lobbies to take a hike, thereby posing a mortal threat to the fund raising rackets which are the GOPs lifeblood. And while the “bad deal” abroad is superficially about NAFTA and our $500 billion trade deficit with China, it is really an attack on the American Imperium.
“The American people are sick and tired of the Lindsey Graham/John McCain/George Bush/neocon wars of intervention and occupation; and they resent the massive fiscal burdens of our outmoded but still far-flung alliances, forward bases and apparatus of security assistance and economic aid. They especially have no patience for the continued huge cost of our commitments to cold war relics like NATO, the stationing of troops in South Korea and the defense treaty with the incorrigible Japanese, who still blatantly rig their trade rules against American exports.
“In short, The Donald is tapping a nationalist/isolationist impulse that runs deep among a weary and economically precarious main street public. He is clever enough to articulate it in the bombast of what sounds like a crude trade protectionism. Yet if Pat Buchanan were to re-write his speech, it would be more erudite and explicit about the folly of the American Imperium, but the message would be the same.”
All this was on display during the Houston GOP debate, and yet its significance was lost amid all the histrionics. To begin with, look at this exchange between former AIPAC employee Wolf Blitzer, the moderator, and Trump:
“BLITZER: You said this about the ongoing conflict between the Israelis and the Palestinians – I’m quoting you now: ‘Let me be sort of a neutral guy. I don’t want to say whose fault it is, I don’t think it helps.’
“TRUMP: Right.
“BLITZER: Here’s the question. How do you remain neutral when the U.S. considers Israel to be America’s closest ally in the Middle East?
“TRUMP: Well, first of all, I don’t think they do under President Obama because I think he’s treated Israel horribly, all right? I think he’s treated Israel horribly. I was the grand marshall down 5th Avenue a number of years ago for the Israeli Day Parade, I have very close ties to Israel. I’ve received the Tree of Life Award and many of the greatest awards given by Israel.
“As president, however, there’s nothing that I would rather do to bring peace to Israel and its neighbors generally. And I think it serves no purpose to say that you have a good guy and a bad guy.
“Now, I may not be successful in doing it. It’s probably the toughest negotiation anywhere in the world of any kind. OK? But it doesn’t help if I start saying, “I am very pro-Israel, very pro, more than anybody on this stage.” But it doesn’t do any good to start demeaning the neighbors, because I would love to do something with regard to negotiating peace, finally, for Israel and for their neighbors.
“And I can’t do that as well – as a negotiator, I cannot do that as well if I’m taking … sides.”
That is nothing short of remarkable, especially if one recalls the Mitt Romney-Barack Obama debate in which both competed with the other in proclaiming their absolute fealty to Israel and their refusal to even recognize that there are two sides to the issue. Marco Rubio was outraged by this unprecedented display of common sense, and launched into one of his robo-responses, repeating word-for-word some editorial he’d probably read in Commentary or the Weekly Standard. And in the course of it he said something remarkably stupid: “The Palestinians are not a real estate deal, Donald.”
Now one assumes he meant the Israeli-Palestinian conflict isn’t about a real estate deal, but the reality is that’s precisely what it is – a real estate deal gone bad. It’s all about land. And it will take fair-minded negotiating and – yes – deal-making to solve that festering problem. Rubio cannot acknowledge this because his donors won’t let him. As a creature of Imperial Washington – where Israel is always right and the Palestinians are always wrong – Rubio can’t allow himself to say or even think that.
Another example of why Trump has roused the ire of the political class: in refuting Rubio’s misleading accusation that he did not change his position in August 2011 and come out publicly against the Libyan intervention and starting another war in Syria – both of which he has denounced in no uncertain terms – Trump said this:
“If these politicians went to the beach and didn’t do a thing, and we had Saddam Hussein and if we had Gadhafi in charge, instead of having terrorism all over the place, we’d be – at least they killed terrorists, all right?
“And I’m not saying they were good because they were bad, they were really bad, but we don’t know what we’re getting. You look at Libya right now, ISIS, as we speak, is taking over their oil. As we speak, it’s a total mess.
We would have been better off if the politicians took a day off instead of going into war.”
I bolded the above because it succinctly sums up not only the Trumpian foreign policy but also Trump’s critique of the past twenty years. And to make things even scarier for the War Party, he wants us to pull back from policing the world to attend to business that must be attended to:
“We can no longer defend all of these countries, Japan, Germany, South Korea. You order televisions, you order almost anything, you’re getting it from these countries. Whether it’s a Mercedes-Benz, or whether it’s an air conditioning unit. They’re coming out of these countries. They are making a fortune. Saudi Arabia, we are defending Saudi Arabia. Before Before the oil went down, now they’re making less, but they’re making plenty. They were making $1 billion dollars a day.
“We defend all of these countries for peanuts. You talk about budgets. We have to start getting reimbursed for taking care of the military services for all of these countries.”
Trump has called for pulling US troops out of Europe, where they’ve been sitting since the end of World War II: these countries are rich, he argues, and have to start defending themselves. He also questions what they have to be afraid of in Putin’s Russia, declaring he could get along with the Russian leader, with the implicit assumption being they could too.
Indeed, Trump challenges every major new American incursion into regions where it doesn’t belong: Syria, where he wonders why we’re subsidizing “rebels” and “we don’t’ know who they are”; Ukraine, which he disdains as simply a backwater where we have no interests; and Libya, where he points to the chaos caused by Hillary’s war and where we’re getting ready to revisit.
Trump represents a deadly challenge to the high command of the War Party – the neoconservatives who lied us into war in Iraq – and were called out for it by him. These people are the main driving force that is ideologically committed to maintaining Washington’s imperial pretensions even as we plunge further into bankruptcy. They are  behind the vicious smear campaign that equates Trump with Mussolini, Hitler, David Duke, and the Devil himself. They see that they are losing control of the GOP – their pathway to power – and they are reacting like the cornered rats they are.
If Trump gets the Republican nomination the neocons are through as a viable political force on the Right. That’s why National Review devoted a whole issue of their magazine to the theme “Against Trump.” That’s why the neocons’ allies in the media are going after him hammer and tongs. That’s why neocons like Robert Kagan are openly declaring they will support Hillary Clinton, while others – including the formerly libertarian network of organizations funded by Charles and David Koch – are financing a “Stop Trump” campaign. There is even talk of the (impractical) idea of running a third party candidate in order to take votes away from Trump.
The rats are converging, squealing up a storm of abuse, and resorting to the most obvious smear tactics in order to keep their bread-and-butter on the table. Yet this, too, will backfire, just as all the other attempts to stop Trump have flopped – because people have had enough. They are beyond angry – indeed, they’re happy! Overjoyed by the sight of the political class on the run – and determined to make them run even faster.
I hear Trump wears a bullet-proof vest, and has done so for years. If I were him I’d guard my head – and watch my back.
This is not to say I personally give one iota of political support to Trump – and Antiwar.com doesn’t endorse candidates for any office, period. David Stockman’s piece, linked above, describes some of the pitfalls of Trumpismo, which I fully endorse. Yet that is not my purpose here.
My job is to analyze current events: instead of reiterating what everyone else is saying, albeit in different words, my purpose is to get behind the headlines and go beyond the groupthink so that my readers can not only understand what is happening in the world – but also develop some insight into how to go about changing it. If Trump secures the nomination, the way is paved for transforming the GOP from the party of perpetual war to the party that honors the long-forgotten “isolationist” Sen. Robert A. Taft, who used to be celebrated as "Mr. Republican." And if Trump actually wins the White House, the military-industrial complex is finished, along with the globalists who dominate foreign policy circles in Washington. While Trump is no libertarian, the effect of this sea-change in the foreign policy realm will be to objectively cut the dominance of federal power in our lives, first of all by saving us from bankruptcy and freeing up resources for the private sector, and secondly by reducing the blowback that has empowered terrorists.
Don’t be fooled: GOP bigwigs aren’t afraid Trump will lose to Hillary. They’re afraid he’ll win.
Trump, for all his crudity and contradictions, represents a populist uprising against the Empire and those who profit from our imperialist foreign policy. That’s why the political class hates him – and has vowed to destroy him.
I started out telling you the story of the lion and the sheep, and I end with the good news that the sheep – inspired by the lion  – are finally turning on the sheepherders.

Quote:As we begin Super Tuesday, conservative business Donald Trump has been under fire for not disavowing David Duke, the former Grand Wizard of the Ku Klux Klan (KKK). It was a classic “gotcha” question by the liberal media, as Trump has disavowed Duke and his racism in years past.
[Image: ri?bi=807d6dec-edd5-41a3-af26-fd1798a956...NCNkpqZG9G]
But what about Hillary Clinton’s record on race?

Now, a video has appeared on YouTube of Hillary Clinton speaking highly of a former Klan Member.

Former U.S. Senator Robert Byrd (D-WV) was a card-carrying member and recruiter for the KKK. In the 1940s, he obtained the KKK rank of “Exalted cyclops” and spent decades promoting their vile, racist message. And he took part in what was – at the time- the longest filibuster ever against the Civil Rights Act.

As Byrd once announced:
Quote:“I shall never fight in the armed forces with a negro by my side … Rather I should die a thousand times, and see Old Glory trampled in the dirt never to rise again, than to see this beloved land of ours become degraded by race mongrels, a throwback to the blackest specimen from the wilds.”
Watch this video (below) where Hillary Clinton remembers her friend and former Klansman, Senator Robert Byrd:

As Hillary opined, “Senator Byrd was a man of surpassing eloquence and nobility.” And, “It is almost impossible to imagine the United States Senate without Robert Byrd. He was not only its longest serving member. He was its heart, its soul, and it’s historian.”

Why does Hillary Clinton get a pass for her friendship with a former, high-ranking KKK member?

Seldom do I get perked up by lengthy commentary to the point that it fully captures all my attention,
as I often read - scan ... or browse material,
but that was excellent.

And who won and who lost tonight?

Hmm2

Rubio won Minnesota  Lol

Cruz won Texas and Oklahoma,
and also took second in states that Rubio should have taken second.

Kasich also took second in states that Rubio should have taken second in,
if he were really that viable of a candidate.

Trump did very well.
6-7 states?

Rubio's response tonight was disengenuous and fraught with unconvincing rhetoric.

Cruz had legs to stand on in his commentary,
and as much as I distrust and don't like him,
after listening to Rubio tonight I think that Cruz is a better choice candidate than Rubio.

Trump however still remains a better choice than Cruz.
Trump remains the people's choice and you cannot ignore millions of voters.
I will say this,
Having Christie at his side tonight is political playhousing for a media event,
but Christie is quite distasteful to me as a VP choice.

Now this new super pac movement to stop Trump is desperate,
and it just isn't going anywhere with Rubio.
That leaves Cruz and Kasich of the candidates that have shown some form.
Then there is talk of Paul Ryan and talk of Mitt Romney ...

A Cruz - Rubio alliance is nonsense.
If this whole anti-Trump movement suddenly all went to Cruz ... well, he has won 3 states.
His second place showings over Rubio were very interesting.
But he is weak in the northern states.
Cruz-Kasich ... ?
man,
I just think that the money is on the Donald.
You cannot ignore millions of voters,
and his appeal is across the board from a wide spectrum of states counties and demographics.

Trump can defeat Hillary with a solid campaign and full backing of the Republican constituency.

The big surprise as well, is how well Bernie Sanders did.
Though Clinton did pretty much clean up,
Sanders victories were surprisingly noticeable to point to Clinton weaknesses,
especially in the final presidential race.

Trump was the biggest winner tonight.
Cruz was also a big enough winner.
Rubio was the loser tonight with the expectations that were upon him.
Kasich showed northern strength.
Carson still has the Cream of Wheat vote that won't go away.
The last four mentioned ...
all add up to Trump victories, because they are cannablizing each other.

Melania Trump is looking for a presidential gown selection to try on right now.

Hillary Clinton keeps repeating the name Obama in her speeches ...
Man, she was so repetitive in her victory speech mantras tonight.
It was somewhat ... well ... almost disturbing.

They all disturb me, I am not comfortable with any of them.
It is a bad mess.
I think that no matter who wins,
they cannot succeed in the promises that they make,
with the coming global meltdown to have to encumber as president.

So who bothers me or troubles me the least,
to the point that they may be the best of the list of bad or concerning choices?
Right now, Trump takes that vote.

So we go back to Wooks post with:
The Lion and the Sheep
Why they hate Trump

Wook,'
that is:
Mitt Rotney Whip

Man oh man.
People reading,
if you have had tough times,
or facing a very hard day and challenging day ahead of you,
imagine being in Trump's shoes,
going into the debate tonite.

The whole media blitz today with this Rotney event today is really amazing.
CNN had interviews taped and ready,
with "people around the world and what they think about Trump"

Commentators calling upon Jeb Bush to return and trash Trump.

The Establishment clowndom is ignoring how many millions have voted for Trump,
basically labeling them as liberals that have "crossed over" to guarantee that Hillary wins.

The Establishment is desperate.
The debate will really be an all out attempt to take down Trump.
It will be interesting to see who shows the most class and composure in attacking Trump.
My bets are that Rubio will try and out nasty Trump,
Kasich .... dunno,
and Cruz will be more tactful than Rubio.

We shall see.

Rubio has really disappointed me over the last week.
I dunno who talked him into dropping down to take the LOW ROAD, but I think it hurt him now, and could come back to haunt in years to come! He does not come off well as a comedian.
He had been the most Presidential appearing of the whole group, but were he to get in a position to close the gap with Trump by some chance, he's made himself fodder for the leftest press.
I'll watch as much of the debate as I can, but I may to have a toddy to do it, and I'd sworn off. Better not watch?

Eight major Bush donors decide to back Cruz today.
If they all back Cruz, including Kasich, then that is a major momentum shift.
Rubio doesn't matter in the above statement.

Rubio will attack dog tonite.
Cruz will be the tactfully calm, collected, and composed candidate.

Trump has to make magic.
