“But you just do not hear Mitt Romney say this, for example.  You wouldn’t hear the Bush family talk this way about Hillary.  You wouldn’t. You just wouldn’t hear it,” he added.

Rush noted that most establishment and elitist Republicans wouldn’t have said what Trump said because it hits too close to home for many of them, as they are just as complicit in the issues about which Trump hit Clinton.
“But Trump can say this stuff as an outsider. He can say this stuff as a nonmember of the elite or the establishment,” Rush declared, adding that it would be interesting to see how Clinton her team, fellow Democrats, and her lap-dog media sycophants would deal with this sudden change to the game, as they were used to not being hit so hard by compliant establishment GOPers.
Rush made an excellent point, in that most Republican candidates — Romney and former 2008 nominee Arizona Sen. John McCain come to mind — simply won’t press home the devastating attacks on their Democrat opponents in the same manner in which Trump slammed Clinton.
Hopefully this trend will continue, and Trump will maintain a ferocious and withering fire on Clinton and her allies, calling them out for their hypocrisy and corruption in such a way that even the biased media can’t dismiss.
Please share this on Facebook and Twitter so that everyone can see exactly what Trump said about Clinton that had Rush Limbaugh momentarily shocked.

RE: Next President of the United Fates of America - Vianova - 06-23-2016

I wasn't too worried about the Obama attempt at gun legislation.
When I had a moment to sit down this week and catch a spot of TV news,
I saw some kind of ... wtf ... Nancy Pelosi and the pinhead democrats in a ... gun control sit in.

Pelosi vowed to "sit in until hell freezes over".
They were out of there in 16 hours.

Kissing butt.

I hope she ... "sits in" ... on his face.

So the heat is building up fast now,
as Trump begins the Trump-o-tainment trash carnival on Hillary.

The full attack from both sides is focusing on to economic issues and policies.
A quickly changing world is coming at us faster and faster.
Economic policy is an international spider web that has lots of powerful players and personalities.
In that regard,
let's look at an aspect of what our American candidates have to deal with.
Putin turns to Xi as Russian economy stumbles on sanctions, oil price drop

Russia's Vladimir Putin  Horsepoop
is embarking on an Asia charm offensive Lol
to beef up his country's international profile,
as the economy reels from a deep recession amid Western sanctions and a slump in oil prices.

Putin is due to arrive in China this Saturday for an official state visit Dance2
and a number of business deals as well as cooperation in security and geopolitical arenas
are expected to dominate the agenda.

The trip comes on the heels of the European Union's agreement this week to extend energy,
financial and defense sanctions on Moscow for another six months
in retaliation against the latter's annexation of Crimea in 2014.
Washington also maintained its current sanctions program in May.

More than two years of sanctions,
combined with sliding crude prices and a crumbling currency have taken a toll on the nation;
gross domestic product shrank 3.7 percent in 2015
and the International Monetary Fund (IMF) anticipates a 1.8 percent decline this year.

"Russia is attempting to show the West that it is not isolated from the world.
It hosted its economic forum in St. Petersburg last week
drawing a string of powerful businessmen and politicians.

Putin is now headed to China, and will likely visit Japan in September,"
said Lauren Goodrich, Stratfor's senior Eurasia analyst.

What Russia wants from China
Increased investment from China will likely be Putin's primary focus,
as he looks to mitigate Russia's current economic pain.

"Russia is desperate for new partners and markets for its military industry-
-which China can foster," said Goodrich.
At the St. Petersburg forum, Russia signed a string of deals to develop rocket engines,
airplane engines and helicopters for China  Naughty
while talks also advanced on potential Chinese participation
in a high-speed rail project between Moscow and Kazan.

The visit could also produce insight on the 19.5 percent stake in state-owned oil giant Rosneft,
dubbed the crown jewels of Russia Inc, that Moscow is looking to sell.
"We need the money," Whip
Putin admitted this week after data showed May's federal budget deficit Lol
stood at 5.5 percent of gross domestic product,
wider than the government's 3 percent target.

Companies in India and China have expressed interest in the $11 billion deal
and Putin's trip could involve some of the most serious discussions
between Rosneft and various Chinese energy companies, said Goodrich.
So far, Kremlin officials have indicated their preferred outcome,
would be joint ownership between China and India.

"Strengthening energy ties with China and India would serve Putin's geopolitical interests further,
while also stealing market share from the Saudis,"
noted Mark McNamee,
Central and Eastern Europe analyst at Frontier Strategy Group.

What China stands to gain
While Russia's focus remains on trade and military,
Xi is likely to concentrate more on geopolitical matters.
"In economic terms, other than energy,
Russia is unable to offer much of anything to China," said McNamee.
Indeed, steady energy relations will be crucial for Xi
after Russia surpassed Saudi Arabia to become China's largest oil supplier in March.

"Of far more importance is the political support Russia offers,
regarding foreign policy matters at the United Nations, Group of 20 and other venues ...
China, naturally, is happy to have a useful ally as it seeks to reform the existing U.S.-led order
to attain its geopolitical goals," McNamee continued.

OBOR—Xi's landmark program to revive the ancient trading routes of the Silk Road encompassing Asia,
Central Asia and Europe—
is a key area where China needs Russian cooperation.

The influence Russia wields over smaller states in the region
to secure enthusiastic participation as well as its mineral and energy wealth,
which will be used in the broader economic development of member states,
will be crucial for China,
explained Rollo of the University of Sydney.
If OBOR discussions between Putin and Xi go well,
it could produce a rival to regional trade agreements,
specifically the American-led Trans Pacific Partnership (TPP)
and Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TIIP), Rollo added.

Xi may also use the visit to discuss Chinese interests in the South Caucasus nation of Georgia.
The country's Black Sea ports,
east-west highway and railway infrastructure  Naughty
are invaluable assets ----> for China's trade ambitions Hmm2
connecting the Eurasian interior and Europe,
according to Stratfor.

Russia could also prove to be a useful partner tensions,
amid China's various territorial disputes with its Asian neighbors.
Earlier this month,
three Russian navy ships and a Chinese frigate,
passed through the disputed East China Sea at the same time,
but there was no confirmation that the move was planned.

RE: Next President of the United Fates of America - Wook - 06-24-2016

Former Secretary Hillary Clinton failed to turn over a copy of a key message involving problems caused by her use of a private homebrew email server, the State Department confirmed Thursday. The disclosure makes it unclear what other work-related emails may have been deleted by the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee.
The email was included within messages exchanged Nov. 13, 2010, between Clinton and one of her closest aides, Deputy Chief of Staff Huma Abedin. At the time, emails sent from Clinton's BlackBerry device and routed through her private server in the basement of her New York home were being blocked by the State Department's spam filter. A suggested remedy was for Clinton to obtain a email account.
"Let's get separate address or device but I don't want any risk of the personal being accessible," Clinton responded to Abedin.
Clinton never used a government account that was set up for her, instead continuing to rely on her private server until leaving office.
The email was not among the tens of thousands of emails Clinton turned over to the agency in response to public records lawsuits seeking copies of her official correspondence. Abedin, who also used a private account on Clinton's server, provided a copy from her own inbox after the State Department asked her to return any work-related emails. That copy of the email was publicly cited last month in a blistering audit by the State Department's inspector general that concluded Clinton and her team ignored clear internal guidance that her email setup violated federal standards and could have left sensitive material vulnerable to hackers.
"While this exchange was not part of the approximately 55,000 pages provided to the State Department by former Secretary Clinton, the exchange was included within the set of documents Ms. Abedin provided the department in response to our March 2015 request," State Department spokesman John Kirby told The Associated Press on Thursday.
Clinton campaign spokesman Brian Fallon said she provided "all potentially work-related emails" that were still in her possession when she received the 2014 request from the State Department.
"Secretary Clinton had some emails with Huma that Huma did not have, and Huma had some emails with Secretary Clinton that Secretary Clinton did not have," Fallon said.
Fallon declined to say whether Clinton deleted any work-related emails before they were reviewed by her legal team. Clinton's lead lawyer, David Kendall, did not respond to a request for comment Thursday.
The November 2010 email was among documents released under court order Wednesday to the conservative legal advocacy group Judicial Watch, which has sued the State Department over access to public records related to the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee's service as the nation's top diplomat between 2009 and 2013. The case is one of about three dozen lawsuits over access to records related to Clinton, including one filed by the AP.
Before turning over her emails to the department for review and potential public release, Clinton and her lawyers withheld thousands of additional emails she said were clearly personal, such as those involving what she described as "planning Chelsea's wedding or my mother's funeral arrangements, condolence notes to friends as well as yoga routines, family vacations."
Clinton has never outlined in detail what criteria she and her lawyers used to determine which emails to release and which to delete, but her 2010 email with Abedin appears clearly work-related under the State Department's own criteria for agency records under the U.S. Freedom of Information Act.
Dozens of the emails sent or received by Clinton through her private server were later determined to contain classified material. The FBI has been investigating for months whether Clinton's use of the private email server imperiled government secrets. Agents recently interviewed several of Clinton's top aides, including Abedin.
As part of the probe, Clinton turned over the hard drive from her email server to the FBI. It had been wiped clean, and Clinton has said she did not keep copies of the emails she choose to withhold.
On Wednesday, lawyers from Judicial Watch, a conservative legal organization, questioned under oath Bryan Pagliano, the computer technician who set up Clinton's private server. A transcript released Thursday shows Pagliano repeatedly responded to detailed questions by invoking his Fifth Amendment right against self-incrimination, as he did last year before a congressional committee.
Dozens of questions Pagiliano declined to answer included who paid for the system, whether there was technical help to support its users and who else at the State Department used email accounts on it. Pagliano also would not answer whether he discussed setting up a home server with Clinton prior to her tenure as secretary of state, according to the transcript.
Judicial Watch president Tom Fitton said the November 2010 email cited in the inspector general audit was one of more than a dozen work-related emails that his group identified that Clinton sent or received but later failed to turn over the State Department.
"Contrary to her statement under oath suggesting otherwise, Mrs. Clinton did not return all her government emails to the State Department," Fitton said. "Our goal is to find out what other emails Mrs. Clinton and the State Department are hiding."
Associated Press reporters Stephen Braun and Jack Gillum contributed from Washington.

Goodbye to All That: Why the UK Left the EU
by Pepe Escobar
So what started as a gamble by David Cameron on an outlet for domestic British discontent, to be used as a lever to bargain with Brussels for a few more favors, has metastasized into an astonishing political earthquake about the dis-integration of the European Union.
The irrepressibly mediocre Donald Tusk, president of the European Council, posing as a “historian”, had warned that Brexit, “could be the beginning of the destruction of not only the EU but Western political civilization in its entirety”.
That’s foolish. Brexit proved that it’s immigration, stupid. And once again, it’s the economy, stupid (although the British neoliberal establishment never paid attention). But serious bets can be made the EU system in Brussels won’t learn anything from the shock therapy – and won’t reform itself. There will be rationalizations that after all the UK was always classically whiny, obtrusive and demanding special privileges when dealing with the EU. As for “Western political civilization”, what will end – and this is a big thing — is the special transatlantic relationship between the US and the EU with Britain as an American Trojan Horse.
So of course this all goes monumentally beyond a mere match between a hopelessly miscalculating Cameron, now fallen on his sword, and the recklessly ambitious court jester Boris Johnson – a Donald Trump with better vocabulary and speech patterns.
Scotland, predictably, voted Remain, and may probably hold a new referendum — and leave the UK — rather than be dragged out by white working class English votes. Sinn Fein already wants a vote on united Ireland. Denmark, the Netherlands and even Poland and Hungary will want special status inside the EU, or else. Across Europe, the extreme right stampede is on. Marine Le Pen wants a French referendum. Geert Wilders wants a Dutch referendum. As for the vast majority of British under-25s who voted Remain, they may be contemplating one-way tickets not to the continent, but beyond.
Show me the people
Anglo-French historian Robert Tombs has remarked that when Europeans talk about history they refer to the Roman Empire, the Renaissance and the Enlightenment. Great Britain is somewhat overlooked. In reciprocity, quite a few Britons still consider Europe an entity that should be kept at a safe distance.
To compound the problem, this is not a “Europe of peoples”. Brussels absolutely detests European public opinion, and the system exhibits an iron resistance to reform. This current EU project that ultimately aims at a federation, modeled on the US, does not cut it in most of Britain. Arguably this is one of the key reasons behind Brexit – which for its part has already disunited the kingdom and may eventually downgrade it into a tiny trading post on the edge of Europe.
Lacking a “European people”, the Brussels system could not but be articulated as a Kafkaesque, unelected bureaucracy. Moreover, the representatives of this people-deprived Europe in Brussels actually defend what they consider to be their national interest, and not the “European” interest.
Brexit though does not mean Britain will be free from the dictates of the European Commission (EC). The EC does propose policy, but nothing can be followed through without decisions from the European Parliament and the Council of Ministers, which group representatives of all elected governments of member states.
Arguably Remain, in the best possible case, would have led to some soul-searching in Brussels, and a wake-up call, translating into a more flexible monetary policy; a push to contain immigration inside African borders; and more opening towards Russia. The UK would remain in Europe giving more weight to countries outside the eurozone while Germany would concentrate on the 19-member eurozone nations.
So Remain would have led to the UK increasing its politico-economic weight in Brussels while Germany would be more open to moderate growth (instead of austerity). Although Britain arguably would wince at the notion of a future eurozone Treasure Minister, a European FBI and a European Minister of the Interior, in fact the whole notion of a complete economic and monetary union.
That’s all water under the bridge now. Additionally, don’t forget the mighty single market drama.
The UK not only will lose duty-free access to the EU’s single market of 500 million people; it will have to renegotiate every single trade deal with the rest of the world since all of them have been EU-negotiated. French economy minister and presidential hopeful Emmanuel Macron has already warned that, “if the UK wants a commercial access treaty to the European market, the British must contribute to the European budget like the Norwegians and the Swiss do. If London doesn’t want that, then it must be a total exit.” Britain will be locked out of the single market – to which over 50% of its exports go — unless it pays almost all that it currently pays. Moreover, London must still accept freedom of movement, as in European immigration.
The City gets a black eye
Brexit defeated an overwhelming array of what Zygmunt Bauman defined as the global elites of liquid modernity; the City of London, Wall Street, the IMF, the Fed, the European Central Bank (ECB), major hedge/investment funds, the whole interconnected global banking system.
The City of London, predictably, voted Remain by over 75%.  An overwhelming $2.7 trillion is traded every day in the “square mile”, which employs almost 400,000 people. And it’s not only the square mile, as the City now also includes Canary Wharf (HQ of quite a few big banks) and Mayfair (privileged hang out of hedge funds).
The City of London – the undisputed financial capital of Europe — also manages a whopping $1.65 trillion of client assets, wealth literally from all over the planet. In Treasure Islands, Nicholas Shaxson argues, “financial services companies have flocked to London because it lets them do what they cannot do at home”.
Unbridled deregulation coupled with unrivalled influence on the global economic system amount to a toxic mix. So Brexit may also be interpreted as a vote against corruption permeating England’s most lucrative industry.
Things will change. Drastically. There will be no more “passporting”, by which banks can sell products for all 28 EU members, accessing a $19 trillion integrated economy. All it takes is a HQ in London and a few satellite mini-offices. Passporting will be up for fierce negotiation, as well as what happens to London’s euro-denominated trading floors.
I followed Brexit out of Hong Kong – which 19 years ago had its own Brexit, actually saying bye bye to the British Empire to join China. Beijing is worried that Brexit will translate into capital outflows, “depreciation pressure” on the yuan, and disturbance of the Bank of China’s management of monetary policy.
Brexit could even seriously affect China-EU relations, as Beijing in thesis might lose influence in Brussels without British support. It’s crucial to remember that Britain backed an investment pact between China and the EU and a joint feasibility study on a China-EU free trade agreement.
He Weiwen, co-director of the China-US-EU Study Centre under the China Association of International Trade, part of the Ministry of Commerce, is blunt; “The European Union is likely to adopt a more protectionist approach when dealing with China. For Chinese companies which have set up headquarters or branches in the UK, they may not be able to enjoy tariff-free access to the wider European market after Britain leave the EU.”
That applies, for instance, to leading Chinese high-tech companies like Huawei and Tencent. Between 2000 and 2015, Britain was the top European destination for Chinese direct investment, and was the second-largest trading partner with China inside the EU.
Still, it may all revert into a win-win for China. Germany, France and Luxembourg – all of them competing with London for the juicy offshore yuan business – will increase their role. Chen Long, economist with Bank of Dongguan, is confident “the European continent, especially Central and Eastern European countries, will be more actively involved in China’s ‘One Belt, One Road’ programs.”
So will Britain become the new Norway? It’s possible. Norway did very well after rejecting EU membership in a 1995 referendum. It will be a long and winding road before Article 50 is invoked and a two-year UK-EU negotiation in uncharted territory starts. Former UK Chancellor of the Exchequer Alistair Darling summed it all up; “Nobody has a clue what ‘Out’ looks like.”
A version of this piece first appeared in Sputnik News.

Brexit: why Britain left the EU, explained with a simple cartoon
[Image: 6.png]
Brexit: David Cameron Resigns and Donald Trump Celebrates After U.K. Votes to Leave EU
Quote:In the wake of the Brexit vote, the British pound dropped in value,
stars have spoken out about and British Prime Minister David Cameron
gave an emotional speech announcing his resignation.

The actual exit from the European Union could take two years or longer, experts say,
but the decision has already changed the world.

Here are five things that have happened in the wake of the historic vote:

David Cameron Announced His Resignation

A Record Number of Voters Cast Their Ballots Over the Brexit

 Global Stock Markets Are Plunging
The historic vote to Brexit shocked investors and stock markets plummeted worldwide
with key market indexes dropping between 7 and 12 percent across Europe.
In Britain, the FTSE 100 shed $137 million in value as it plunged nearly 4 percent.

The Nikkei in Japan is down nearly 8 percent.
The value of both the Euro and the British pound also plunged.
The pound dropped to its lowest value in 31 years; $1.36 will now buy a pound.
The euro dropped, too – down to $1.10.

J.K. Rowling and Other British Stars are Not Happy About the Brexit  Doh

But Donald Trump and Sarah Palin Are Ecstatic  Lol
"Basically, they took back their county,"
Trump told reporters, apparently referring to those who voted in favor of Britain leaving the E.U.

Scotland Could Leave the U.K. to Stay in EU
Scottish First Minister Nicola Sturgeon told reporters on Friday
that the possibility of a second Scottish independence referendum is "highly likely."
In September 2014, Scottish voters narrowly opted to remain a part of Britain.

"It is a statement of the obvious that the option of a second independence referendum
must be on the table and it is on the table," she said.

Every voting district in Scotland voted to stay in the EU.

The BBC, the UK’s national broadcaster, gleefully reported, as real, with no basic journalistic checks, an online petition that appeared to be growing at a colossal rate. By 1:30 pm, it was one of the fastest-growing petitions in history.

Wook, those facebook links are a mess.
What you can do sometimes is to just copy the title words of the news article on FB,
paste those words into the url space at the top of the page,
and the selection of links to that article will come up with much shorter and more direct links.
Linking into FB is fraught with problems and computer glitches,
which is why I stay away from FB in general anymore.
No single internet site gums up my computer with problems more than Facebook,
which is a hackers paradise.

from wook's post:

Quote:Hank Paulson,
George W. Bush's treasury secretary,
who presided over both the meltdown of the U.S. economy
and the subsequent bailout of his close friends and associates,
has endorsed Hillary Clinton.

That pretty much sums it all up.
Clinton - Bush -Obama ... they are all the same continuing establishment political dynasty,
that is doing everything they can as a loosely but interconnected affiliation of Clintonista conspirators,
trying to make sure that Trump does not get elected.
Dump Trumpers Starting To Make Trump Camp Nervous
Quote:The “Free the Delegates” group is hoping to win over a majority of the 112-member rules panel
on its proposal to insert a “conscience clause”  Rofl
that would let any delegate avoid voting for a candidate
whose record violates the delegate’s religious or moral beliefs.

Group leader Kendal Unruh,

also a Colorado delegate and a member of that rules committee,
said she believes that the full convention will go along with the conscience clause Whip
if the rules committee approves it –
and that it would effectively be the end of Trump’s candidacy.
Donald Trump and R.N.C. Crack Down on Rebelling Delegates
Quote:The Trump campaign and the Republican National Committee
are moving quickly and aggressively to head off the fledgling effort
to stage a revolt at their convention next month in Cleveland,
hoping to spare the party an embarrassing spectacle that could deeply wound the presumptive nominee.

They are employing hard-nosed tactics,
warning delegates  Naughty
that attempting to undermine Donald J. Trump’s claim to the nomination violates party rules,
and threatening to deny speaking slots to Republicans they deem disloyal for not backing him.

“If there’s no endorsement, then I would not invite them to speak,”
Mr. Trump said in an interview,
adding that former rivals like Senator Ted Cruz of Texas and Gov. John Kasich of Ohio
should not expect to address the convention if they continue to withhold their support.

The R.N.C. and the Trump campaign are also installing loyal party stalwarts
in key party positions to help ensure that they maintain control of the convention
if rogue delegates attempt a disruption.
And they are trying to discredit Republicans who are advocating an interpretation of party rules
that would allow delegates to vote for anyone they want on the first ballot.

Their moves are intended to buttress Mr. Trump
as he confronts a faction of Republicans who, emboldened by his recent missteps,
say their efforts to stage a convention coup are gaining more support.
In the last week,
prominent Republicans like House Speaker Paul D. Ryan and Yak Gov. Scott Walker of Wisconsin
have breathed new life into these efforts
by saying that delegates should be free to follow their consciences
instead of being committed to back a candidate.

Stopping the presumptive nominee at the convention —
one who won 37 states and has an indisputable majority of delegates —
would be an extraordinary affront and seems improbable at this point.
But even if the anti-Trump forces fall short,
the scene that threatens to unfold on national television Lol
would be an unwelcome one for Mr. Trump and the Republican Party:
a band of angry, rebelling delegates trying to seize control of the convention and wrest away the nomination.

Mr. Trump insisted in an interview last week that his opponents would fail to derail his nomination.
“You mean to tell me we’re going to get the largest vote in the history of the Republican primaries,” he said,
“and now the same people that either didn’t run or got beaten in a landslide are going to try and back-end?”

“My supporters are tremendously loyal to me,” he added. “They would not stand for it.”

Such a hard-line approach would seem to create grim prospects
for any kind of reconciliation with Mr. Cruz,
who will command more than 500 delegates when the convention begins in three weeks.
And to deny Mr. Cruz a speech —
or for that matter Mr. Kasich,
the governor of the state that is hosting the convention — would be a rare rebuke.

Speeches by the runners-up are usually a prime-time draw at any convention,
and usually a foregone conclusion for an event that is supposed to convey party unity and good will.

But the speaking arrangements may not be entirely up to Mr. Trump.
Because Mr. Cruz won a majority of delegates in at least eight states,
he would probably be able to have his name entered into nomination,
guaranteeing him a speech under party rules.

For its part, the committee is leaving little to chance as it works closely with the Trump campaign
in plotting the mechanics of the convention.
The two have hired about a dozen operatives to ensure that the nominating vote goes off without a hitch.
Reince Priebus, the Republican National Committee chairman,
has dispatched associates to reach out to first-time delegates.

And lawyers for the committee are advising state party leaders how to beat back the anti-Trump efforts,
prompting party chairs from Minnesota to Washington State
to issue admonitions to delegates who may be thinking of breaking their obligation to vote for Mr. Trump.
Party officials are now gently reminding delegates
that in the process of applying to be a delegate,
many of them signed statements vowing to vote for the candidate to which they were pledged.

Mr. Trump has the pledged support of more than 1,500 delegates,
the vast majority of whom were awarded to him based on party rules
that allot the most delegates to the winner of each primary and caucus.

The R.N.C. pushback has been strong in states that Mr. Trump lost, like Iowa and Minnesota.
“The proposed ‘conscience exemption’  Doh
does not change anything for Minnesota,
especially given each national delegate’s/alternate’s signed pledge,”
a message to Minnesota delegates from state party leaders said last week.

Party officials are also working to thwart delegates who are encouraging a “conscience vote”
based on the notion that Republican rules cannot bind anyone to any candidate.
Freeing the delegates, known as unbinding,
has been promoted for years by Curly Haugland, a committee official from North Dakota.

Yet as his ideas gained currency,
Mr. Haugland found that committee officials were sending out emails attempting to discredit him —
like one forwarded to him by a delegate friend that read in part:
“Curly Haugland is the originator of the ideas that are flooding the inboxes of delegates nationwide.
He is the North Dakota National Committeeman who every four years challenges the Convention Rules —
and loses.”

“It’s a total smear campaign,” Mr. Haugland said in an interview.

But the anti-Trump forces are determined to push their cause.
One activist, Steve Lonegan,
who directed Mr. Cruz’s losing campaign in New Jersey,
is now helping a political action committee that advocates letting delegates vote their consciences.

The group, Courageous Conservatives,
started running a radio ad in Iowa last week that urged people to call Steve Scheffler,
a national committeeman in Iowa who is trying to quash the revolt,
and demand “to let our delegates pick the best Republican to fight for our conservative values.”
Another group called Delegates Unbound has begun a nationwide ad campaign that implores,
“Vote your conscience.”

Mr. Scheffler, who is among the 112 members of the convention’s rules committee,
which could ultimately resolve the unbinding issue,
said in an interview that he did not even vote for Mr. Trump in the Iowa caucuses.
But he believes the will of the voters should be honored at the convention.

“Don’t bellyache to me that you don’t like the process.
It is what it is,” Mr. Scheffler said,
noting that he did not plan to check his voice mail until after the convention.
“The voters have spoken,” he added.
“Why would 112 people say,
‘We don’t care what you did, we’re going to set our own rules?’”

One major hurdle the anti-Trump forces face
is that the rules committee will be full of delegates like Mr. Scheffler,
Republicans loyal to the party committee who might not have wanted Mr. Trump as the nominee
but are nonetheless determined to keep the convention from turning into a debacle.
Adding to those hurdles,
Mr. Priebus has put in trusted loyalists to run the convention rules committee
while working with the Trump campaign and state parties,
to make sure the most important committees are not stacked with unpredictable delegates.

In that sense, the motives of the Trump campaign and the Republican Party
have aligned after months of mutual mistrust.
While party people are not necessarily Trump people,
and Trump people are not necessarily party people,
the two sides are now locked in a marriage of convenience.
Mr. Trump is trying to protect his nomination,
while the party is trying to protect the integrity of its nominating process.

Peter Feaman, who will serve on the convention rules committee and has a long history with the party,
including serving as Florida’s party chairman,
called the talk of ditching Mr. Trump “a lot of sound and fury.”

“We’re going to ride the Trump bandwagon into 1600 Penn Ave.,

or into oblivion,” Lol he added.
“One or the other.”

Black Trump Fan Delivers Epic “Plantation” Lesson to Anchor Asking About Race

Quote:Mason Weaver, a black Donald Trump advocate, had some mighty words about Trump’s plan to help give Americans an environment to succeed.

Starting off the conversation, Fox Business Network’s Trish Reagan asked Weaver what he gathered from the entire ordeal surrounding Harriet Tubman’s new home on the $20 bill.

“What good does it do me as a black man? How does it benefit me as a black man to have a black woman on the $20 bill? What has it done for me to have a black man in the White House? What does it do for me?” Weaver said. “I am here to compete in America not to be predicated with symbols… I support Donald Trump because I want to build a wall.”
“A lot of people say he won’t help your community. What do you say?” Regan asked.

“What community? I don’t live on a plantation,” Weaver shot back. “What Donald Trump will do for taxes will help black taxpayers and white taxpayers. What he will do for jobs He will help black workers and white workers. I want Trump because of what he’s going to do for America.”

Well, I can honestly say that was brutal and beautiful.

The Benghazi Lie in Black and White
The administration's public and private timelines of what happened are very different.
The final majority report of the Benghazi Select Committee is set to be released later Tuesday morning. Representatives Jim Jordan and Mike Pompeo have signed onto the official majority document and authored a supplemental, 51-page "additional views" report of their own.

RE: Next President of the United Fates of America - Wook - 06-29-2016
Quote:PHOENIX - Amid an ongoing investigation into Hillary Clinton's use of email and hours before the public release of the Benghazi report, US Attorney General Loretta Lynch met privately with former President Bill Clinton.
The private meeting took place on the west side of Sky Harbor International Airport on board a parked private plane.
Former President Clinton was visiting the Phoenix area and arrived to Sky Harbor Monday evening to depart.
Sources tell ABC15, Clinton was notified Lynch would be arriving at the airport soon and waited for her arrival.
Lynch was arriving in Phoenix for a planned visit as part of her national tour to promote community policing.
ABC15 asked Lynch about the meeting during her news conference at the Phoenix Police Department.
"I did see President Clinton at the Phoenix airport as he was leaving and spoke to myself and my husband on the plane," said Lynch.
The private meeting comes as Lynch's office is in charge of the ongoing investigation and potential charges involving Clinton's email server.
The private meeting also occurred hours before the Benghazi report was released publicly involving Hillary Clinton and President Obama's administration.
Lynch said the private meeting on the tarmac did not involve these topics.
"Our conversation was a great deal about grandchildren, it was primarily social about our travels and he mentioned golf he played in Phoenix," said Lynch Tuesday afternoon while speaking at the Phoenix Police Department.
Sources say the private meeting at the airport lasted around 30 minutes.
"There was no discussion on any matter pending before the Department or any matter pending with any other body, there was no discussion of Benghazi, no discussion of State Department emails, by way of example I would say it was current news of the day, the Brexit decision and what it would mean."
Quote:Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s close aide Huma Abedin revealed in her testimony to the Benghazi committee that she had a friend from college who was in the city the night of the attack.
During her testimony, Abedin was asked about an October 2002 email to Secretary Clinton where she indicated that she had spoken to a friend about visiting an injured DS officer who was in Benghazi the night of the attacks.

The DS officer’s name was redacted from Abedin’s testimony, but members of Congress revealed that he had spent over a year at Walter Reed Hospital.
She confirmed for the committee that she had spoken with a friend from college who was in Benghazi the night of the attack.
“Was your friend a witness in any way to the attacks?” asked Benghazi Committee deputy chief counsel Sharon Jackson.
“I am not able to discuss that,” Abedin replied, prompting her counsel Karen Dunn to interrupt the questioning to go off the record. The committee agreed, leaving the details of her friendship hidden from the public.
Law Enforcement Sources: Gun Used in Paris Terrorist Attacks Came from Phoenix

Quote:One of the guns used in the November 13, 2015 Paris terrorist attacks came from Phoenix, Arizona where the Obama administration allowed criminals to buy thousands of weapons illegally in a deadly and futile “gun-walking” operation known as “Fast and Furious.”
A Report of Investigation (ROI) filed by a case agent in the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco Firearms and Explosives (ATF) tracked the gun used in the Paris attacks to a Phoenix gun owner who sold it illegally, “off book,” Judicial Watch’s law enforcement sources confirm. Federal agents tracing the firearm also found the Phoenix gun owner to be in possession of an unregistered fully automatic weapon, according to law enforcement officials with firsthand knowledge of the investigation.
The investigative follow up of the Paris weapon consisted of tracking a paper trail using a 4473 form, which documents a gun’s ownership history by, among other things, using serial numbers. The Phoenix gun owner that the weapon was traced back to was found to have at least two federal firearms violations—for selling one weapon illegally and possessing an unregistered automatic—but no enforcement or prosecutorial action was taken against the individual. Instead, ATF leaders went out of their way to keep the information under the radar and ensure that the gun owner’s identity was “kept quiet,” according to law enforcement sources involved with the case. “Agents were told, in the process of taking the fully auto, not to anger the seller to prevent him from going public,” a veteran law enforcement official told Judicial Watch.
It’s not clear if the agency, which is responsible for cracking down on the illegal use and trafficking of firearms, did this because the individual was involved in the Fast and Furious gun-running scheme. An ATF spokesman, Corey Ray, at the agency’s Washington D.C. headquarters told Judicial Watch that “no firearms used in the Paris attacks have been traced” by the agency. When asked about the ROI report linking the weapon used in Paris to Phoenix, Ray said “I’m not familiar with the report you’re referencing.” Judicial Watch also tried contacting the Phoenix ATF office, but multiple calls were not returned.
The ATF ran the Fast and Furious experiment and actually allowed criminals, “straw purchasers,” working for Mexican drug cartels to buy weapons at federally licensed firearms dealers in Phoenix and allowed the guns to be “walked”—possessed without any knowledge of their whereabouts. The government lost track of most of the weapons and many have been used to murder hundreds of innocent people as well as a U.S. Border Patrol agent, Brian Terry, in Arizona. A mainstream newspaper reported that a Muslim terrorist who planned to murder attendees of a Muhammad cartoon contest in Garland, Texas last year bought a 9-millimeter pistol at a Phoenix gun shop that participated in the ATF’s Fast and Furious program despite drug and assault charges that should have raised red flags. Judicial Watch has thoroughly investigated Fast and Furious and has sued the Obama administration for information about the once-secret operation.

Obama goes on "rant" about Donald Trump's populism
President Obama went off on his own rant Wednesday at a trilateral press conference in which he disputed the idea that Donald Trump is a populist and that the presumptive GOP nominee instead promotes "nativism" or "xenophobia."
After reporters asked a series of questions of Mr. Obama, Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto and Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, Mr. Obama decided he had something else to say in Ottawa -- he addressed the common theme of populism raised during the event.
"I'm not prepared to concede the notion that some of the rhetoric that's been popping up is populist," Mr. Obama said, referring to Trump.
