The Scott Walker Slow Ride gets a lift from WSJ in this blog written by:

Mr. Puzder is the chief executive officer of CKE Restaurants. Horsepoop

one excerpt from the lengthy WSJ glo-worm du jour veiled endorsement venue

A Closer Look at Scott Walker’s Record on Jobs

Quote:The point is simple:
After four years with Mr. Walker,
more Wisconsinites are employed.
That the state has outdone the nation on key economic indicators
and moved ahead in key state rankings shows that his policies are working.

looking at Pudzer
{the author in the above WSJ article} we see his CKE restaurants
and what they represent with Walker tactics and political philosophies:
Sen. Mitch McConnell's 2.1 million reasons to vote against a minimum wage increase

Quote:Executives and PACs representing big companies opposed to the minimum wage
have contributed or spent at least $2.1 million to help McConnell stay in power.

Most recently, in the first quarter of 2014,
McConnell took at least $45,000 from these interests opposed to a minimum wage increase.

That total includes $17,850 from 12 executives of CKE Restaurants Whip
the owner of Carl's Jr and Hardee's.
The executive donations included $5,000 from Mike Murphy, President and Chief Legal Officer,
and $2,600 from Ted Abajian, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer.

These checks were most likely collected during a fundraiser for one of McConnell's joint fundraising committees,
held in Southern California on March 19,
not far from CKE headquarters in Carpinteria, CA.
CKE's CEO, Andrew Puzder Whip
has spoken out against raising the minimum wage.

Note in the link below ... Walker isn't even mentioned ... he isn't in the race yet Hmm2
... a smart move
as Rubio and Paul continue exhibit foot in the mouth syndrome.

Walker -- Mr. Freeze -- is playing it cool,
waiting and waching
while the rest of the pack eats itself up in the media pancaking of their comments.

Election 2016: Conservative Review Dings Rubio, Paul In First Presidential Report Card

Quote:According to the group,
which was formed last year to score GOP lawmakers' adherence
to conservative dogma Rofl
Sens. Marco Rubio of Florida and Rand Paul of Kentucky  need improvement.

Texas Sen. Ted Cruz earns top grades -- just as he used to at Princeton and Harvard Law Hmm2

The researchers at the Review were tough on Senator Rubio.

Senator Paul, a Libertarian, drew criticism for a perceived lack of opposition to the Affordable Care Act.
Conservative Review also noted another vulnerability for Senator Paul: foreign policy.

But overall, the Conservative Review gave Cruz a rave.
“Cruz has made it clear that he didn’t come to Washington to make friends,
and he’s kept good on his promise to fight even when it isn’t popular,”
the group wrote.

That's the kind of report card comment Cruz wants:
He's not looking for friends, he's looking to win hardcore conservative supporters.

RE: Next President of the United Fates of America - Fsbirdhouse - 05-04-2015

I think, barring any major screw-up, Rubio will settle into a comfortable lead as the other Reps fall away.

SHillery's bid for the White House could remain intact until close to the end of the run.
Her supporters (a subject fit for a modern day retelling of the fall of Rome) may very well not only applaud the games she's offering us all currently, but see her future outrages actually propel her to new levels of witless adoration among the legions of her illegal minions freshly arrived to save the day, as well as that parasitic level in (The Great) society who's very survival depend on a continued oppression of the working classes thru taxation, one that amounts to little more than 'involuntary servitude' to that end.

Quote:Hillary Rodham Clinton is willing to testify once on Capitol Hill later this month about the attacks in Benghazi, Libya, and her email practices during her tenure as secretary of state, her attorney told lawmakers in a letter Monday.

Lawyer David Kendall said the Democratic presidential candidate would appear for only one session the week of May 18 or later, not twice as requested by Rep. Trey Gowdy, R-S.C., chairman of the special panel investigating the September 2012 attacks that killed four Americans, including Ambassador Chris Stevens, at the U.S. outpost in Libya.
Gowdy had requested one hearing to focus on Clinton's use of private emails, and a separate session on Benghazi.
Kendall said that Clinton would answer all lawmakers' questions during one session and it would not be necessary for her to appear twice.

RE: Next President of the United Fates of America - Wook - 05-05-2015

Quote:Lyndon McLellan, a rural North Carolina convenience store owner, woke up one day to discover the IRS had seized every penny of the $107,000 in his bank account. It was all the money he had put away over the course of 13 years of assiduous, hard work.

“This is all I’ve ever done. I was raised in the store business; I’m here 12-13 hours a day, seven days a week,” he explains. “To make this kind of money selling soft drinks, cigarettes and hot dogs, somebody’s gotta work, okay? It wasn’t just handed to us. It was taken from us – but it wasn’t handed to us.”
McLellan hasn’t been accused of a crime. The IRS just seized his money. And even though the IRS announced it was changing its civil forfeiture policy in October of last year – a result of growing public outcry in opposition to the practice – it didn’t relent in McLellan’s case, which predated the announcement by a few months.
For years, McLellan had been making periodic cash deposits into his account. The federal government requires that bank customers fill out a currency transaction report to document any single deposit in excess of $10,000. But McLellan had been depositing his earnings in increments beneath that threshold – for more than a decade.
The IRS had, until its policy change last year, exercised its own discretion in invoking its power of civil asset forfeiture against these smaller depositors. The spirit of the forfeiture law, as it applies to McLellan’s case, assumes that he was sitting on a stack of currency but elected to deposit it in small increments to avoid the government’s reporting requirements.
But that’s clearly not what he was doing – he was depositing what he was earning, as he was earning it.
It took McLellan years to accumulate the small nest egg the IRS took away, and each deposit represented a small milestone. There was never a giant stash of cash. And both before and after its policy change, the IRS didn’t care. In the aftermath of a February congressional hearing on forfeiture practices, the IRS’ position revealed itself in pretty cruel fashion.
From The New York Times:
Quote:During a congressional hearing in February, Representative George Holding, a Republican from North Carolina, referred to Mr. McLellan’s case, saying no crime other than structuring had been alleged. “If that case exists, then it’s not following the policy,” John Koskinen, the commissioner of the I.R.S., said.
But the prosecutor on the case, Steve West, was unmoved. Notified of the hearing by Mr. McLellan’s lawyer at the time, he responded with concern that the seizure warrant in the case, filed under seal but later given to Mr. McLellan, had been handed over to a congressional committee, according to an email exchange provided to The New York Times by the Institute for Justice, a libertarian public interest law firm that has taken over the case.
“Your client needs to resolve this or litigate it,” Mr. West wrote. “But publicity about it doesn’t help. It just ratchets up feelings in the agency.” He concluded with a settlement offer in which the government would keep half the money.
So, as it stands, the government is offering McLellan the sweet deal of getting back half of his $107,000 in order to make the forfeiture case – a case in which McLellan hasn’t been charged with a crime, but which forces him to bear the burden of proof if he wants all his money returned – go away.
The Institute for Justice, which produced the video above, is advocating on McLellan’s behalf in the ongoing effort to right this injustice and return all of his hard-earned money. You can read more about that effort here.

Quote:Florida Gov. Jeb Bush and Florida Sen. Marco Rubio
lead the pack of Republicans seeking the GOP nomination for president,
according to a new poll from NBC News and the Wall Street Journal.

Asked which Republican hopeful would be their first choice to win the party's primary,
23 percent of GOP primary voters chose Bush.
An additional 14 percent picked him as a second choice.

Eighteen percent of GOP primary voters said that they favored Rubio most,
while another 23 percent selected the Florida senator
as their second choice for the Republican nod.

Rubio posted particularly impressive numbers when GOP primary voters
were asked which potential candidates
they could definitely see themselves supporting.
Seventy-four percent said they could imagine backing him,
while only 15 percent said they could not imagine supporting him .

While all three men enjoy significant Republican support,
Bush, Rubio and Walker each trail likely Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton
in head-to-head contests.

Bush gets 43 percent in a hypothetical general election matchup,
compared to Clinton's 49 percent;
Rubio's margin compared to Clinton is identical to his fellow Floridian's.
And Clinton bests Walker 50 percent to 40 percent.

Watched PBS documentary on the Roosevelts last night
Teddy and Franklin, two men as flawed as might be, but leaders. One Rep, one a Dem.
They were however, two men who had a clue at least, and great (I think) for the times they were in.
They shaped, and defined 20th century America. You know, the one we grew up in.
We may seldom be blessed with such leaders again in this new century, for we are seemingly past deserving such.

I see a bare chance that we could have men at least somewhat of their caliber. We have the chance to change course away from the absurdities Obama has steered us toward, but will our fellow Americans wake up in time?

Quote:America’s Main Problem: Corruption

Posted on May 6, 2015 by WashingtonsBlog

Preface: Sadly, in the month since we last posted on this topic, many new examples of corruption have arisen.
The Cop Is On the Take
Government corruption has become rampant:
  • Senior SEC employees spent up to 8 hours a day surfing porn sites instead of cracking down on financial crimes
  • NSA spies pass around homemade sexual videos and pictures they’ve collected from spying on the American people
  • Investigators from the Treasury’s Office of the Inspector General found that some of the regulator’s employees surfed erotic websites, hired prostitutes and accepted gifts from bank executives … instead of actually working to help the economy
  • The Minerals Management Service – the regulator charged with overseeing BP and other oil companies to ensure that oil spills don’t occur – was riddled with “a culture of substance abuse and promiscuity”, which included “sex with industry contacts
  • Agents for the Drug Enforcement Agency had dozens of sex parties with prostitutes hired by the drug cartels they were supposed to stop (they also received money, gifts and weapons from drug cartel members)
  • The former chief accountant for the SEC says that Bernanke and Paulson broke the law and should be prosecuted
  • The government knew about mortgage fraud a long time ago. For example, the FBI warned of an “epidemic” of mortgage fraud in 2004. However, the FBI, DOJ and other government agencies then stood down and did nothing. See this and this. For example, the Federal Reserve turned its cheek and allowed massive fraud, and the SEC has repeatedly ignored accounting fraud. Indeed, Alan Greenspan took the position that fraud could never happen
  • Paulson and Bernanke falsely stated that the big banks receiving Tarp money were healthy, when they were not. The Treasury Secretary also falsely told Congress that the bailouts would be used to dispose of toxic assets … but then used the money for something else entirely
  • Warmongerers in the U.S. government knowingly and intentionally lied us into a war of aggression in Iraq. The former head of the Joint Chiefs of Staff – the highest ranking military officer in the United States – said that the Iraq war was “based on a series of lies”. The same is true in Libya and other wars
  • The Bush White House worked hard to smear CIA officers, bloggers and anyone else who criticized the Iraq war
The biggest companies own the D.C. politicians. Indeed, the head of the economics department at George Mason University has pointed out that it is unfair to call politicians “prostitutes”. They are in fact pimps … selling out the American people for a price.
Government regulators have become so corrupted and “captured” by those they regulate that Americans know that the cop is on the take. Institutional corruption is killing people’s trust in our government and our institutions.
Indeed, America is no longer a democracy or republic … it’s officially an oligarchy.
The allowance of unlimited campaign spending allows the oligarchs to purchase politicians more directly than ever. Moreover, there are two systems of justice in Americaone for the big banks and other fatcats, and one for everyone else.
Big Corporations Are Also Thoroughly Corrupt
But the private sector is no better … for example, the big banks have literally turned into criminal syndicates.
Wall Street and giant corporations are literally manipulating every single market.
And the big corporations are cutting corners to make an extra penny … wrecking havoc with their carelessness. For example: We’ve Forgotten the Lessons of History
The real problem is that we need to learn a little history:
  • We’ve known for thousands of years that – when criminals are not punished – crime spreads
  • We’ve known for centuries that powerful people – unless held to account – will get together and steal from everyone else
Beyond Partisan Politics
Liberals and conservatives tend to blame our country’s problems on different factors … but they are all connected.
The real problem is the malignant, symbiotic relationship between big corporations and big government.

Quote:... a fucking mess in the Republican Candidates political playpen ...

my comments.
There are too many Republican candidates, as usual.
They are going to eat each other up slowly but surely.
Bush has all the money,
and it is difficult to say how that money will play out when they start using it,
but of all the Republican candidates he currently has the worst case of foot in mouth syndrome,
followed not too far by Rand Paul.

Right now, Bush is all namby pamby with bullshit "middle of the road" policy statements,
thinking he has the Ace in the Hole.

Rand Paul remains a riddle wrapped in a what the fuck.

Ted Cruz is like a sociopath in a chariot out on his tirade du jour

Chris Christie, Rick Perry, Donald Dump and all the rest should just go home and STFU.

Santorum and Huckabee join the race to generate more :yakfight: for superfluous national media coverage.

Ruibio and Walker remain the two One Eyed Jacks wild,
with that one eye each,
mainly on each other in the current political melee.

Walker is unelectable.
Ted Cruz is unelectable.
Rand Paul is a ball of confusion.
Bush just plain really sucks, and even Ann Coulter cannot stand him. Rofl

Rubio has the slim chance of coming out of nowhere like Obama did,
and sending Bush packing.

He can't beat Clinton either.

Romney should have run again, that bitch Coulter was right,
and she picks Walker as the alternative,
"hating all the rest" ...

In the meantime,
the Dynamic Duo is prime timing the media heat in ... people politi-ganda.

Hillary Clinton calls for mandatory police body cameras, end 'era of mass incarceration'

Quote:"We should make sure that every police department in the country
has body cameras to record interaction between offices on patrol and suspects,
that will improve transparency and accountability
and it will help protect good people on both sides of the lens," Clinton said,
calling for body cameras to be the "norm everywhere."

Among Clinton's other prescriptions: probation reform,
bolstering treatment for mental health and drug addiction
and looking at alternative sentences for lesser offenses,
specifically those committed by young people.
"And please, please, lets us put mental health back on the top of our national agenda,"
Clinton said.
"Our prisons and our jails are now our mental health institutions."

... reforms she said that need to be felt "on our streets,
in our courthouses,
in our jails and prisons,
in communities too long neglected."

Clinton linked the need for reforms to income inequality issue, too,
an issue her campaign has said she will champion on the trail.
"We also have to be honest about gaps that exists across out country,
the inequality that stalks our streets," she said,
arguing that good policing will only do so much if issues like unemployment and poverty
are not also addressed.

The presidential candidate called for federal funds being spent to "bolster best practices"
not "to buy weapons of war that have no place on our streets.
Her suggestion come after many on the left and right have questioned
the militarization of law enforcement during protests in Ferguson, Missouri last year.

And here is where the dynamic duo aspect arises.
Bill Clinton on TV admitting to his own failure on over incarceration policies he created,
yielding political dominance to the new improved Hillary Clinton,
as she cashes in on current national sentiment,
as the:
Care - Bear candidate Whip with Boo Boo Billy Bear taking the heat.

Quote:Clinton's stance on criminal justice has changed with the times.
As first lady, she lobbied for her husband's 1994 crime bill,
parts of which are now viewed as counterproductive to reducing crime.
The former secretary of state also called for
ending policies of mass incarcerations,
arguing that "missing husbands, missing fathers, missing brothers"
level "profound consequences" on families.

"Keeping them behind bars does little to reduce crimes
but it does a lot to tear apart families and communities,"
Clinton said of low-level offenders.
"We need to start understanding how important it is to care for every single child
as though that child was our own. "

She added: "It is time to change our approach.

It is time to end the era of mass incarceration.
We need a true national debate about how to reduce our prison population
while keeping our communities safe."

"We need a true national debate about how to reduce our prison population
while keeping our communities safe."

The Ace in Hole and the two One Eyed Jacks are trailing in her dust fast.

You cannot argue with her statement there.
The lock em up and throw the key away system is over.
There are far too many prisoners, and communities want to feel safe.

She is smart, knows when to take advantage of a prison system destined to fail,
it   costs   too   much   money   to   jail    all   the  drug  offenders   Anon

The Ace in Hole and the two One Eyed Jacks are trailing in her dust fast.

The only thing that can undo Hillary,
would be Hillary herself,
in a flashfuck news event fiasco of her own mistakes or making.
And though she is made of teflon coated titanium,
she is still vulnerable, and got beaten by Obama --- who whooped up on Romney.

RE: Next President of the United Fates of America - Wook - 05-07-2015
Quote:( – According to a report issued by the Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration (TIGTA), the IRS allowed 960 out of 1,580 employees – or 61 percent – who willfully cheated on their taxes to continue working there after the misconduct was discovered. Most employees received less penalties such as counseling, reprimands, or suspensions.

The study, which looked at cases closed in Fiscal Years 2004 through 2013, found that the remaining 620 employees who cheated on their taxes were terminated, resigned, or simply retired. The remainder had their penalties “mitigated” by the IRS commissioner, who, the report says, has the “sole authority to mitigate cases to a lesser penalty.”
The report further stated that it could discern no consistent pattern to explain why certain employees had their penalties mitigated, while some were repeat offenders. “Some employees had significant and sometimes repeated tax noncompliance issues, and a history of other conduct issues. Moreover, management had concluded that the employees were not credible. Nonetheless, the proposed terminations were mitigated by the IRS Commissioner,” TIGTA stated
This election will be won or loss
at the Grassroots level.

RE: Next President of the United Fates of America - Fsbirdhouse - 05-08-2015

If Rubio can maintain Status Quo until after the first of the year, the Rep field will much reduced (Much of that will occur before fall). Some important ground gained against SHillery...........maybe?

SHillery's case could go either way from this point moving forward, few of her many outrages having the ability to produce very much concern among the 'Great Unwashed' in our own community.
In a different time in our history she would already have been run out of town on a rail, and shipped straight off to a Bulgarian brothel.
Unfortunately, she may be providing that same service for us all from the White House by 2017, lending it all the class of the aforementioned establishment. Actually lowering it's rating from the Mad House it's become over the last fourteen years to date, if at all possible.
So much to look forward to there.

"The Conservative Party has secured a surprise victory in the U.K. general election, confounding numerous pre-election polls which had pointed to a neck-and-neck race with the opposition Labour Party.

At around 12:30 p.m. London time, the BBC state broadcasting service reported that the incumbent Conservatives had won at least 326 seats, giving them a ruling majority in parliament.

Labour won 232 seats and former coalition partner Liberal Democrats had a miniscule eight seats.
"Majority government is more accountable," newly re-elected Prime Minister David Cameron said in a speech delivered from the doorstep of 10 Downing Street in London, after thanking former coalition partner ex-Liberal Democrat leader Nick Clegg.

Cameron also pledged to go ahead with his promised referendum on the U.K.'s continued membership of the European Union.

"Yes, we will deliver that in-out-referendum on Europe," Cameron confirmed in his Downing Street speech.

The uncertainty around quitting the economic and political union in a so-called Brexit could spook markets longer-term."

President Obama's lawyers admitted to a federal judge late Thursday that they had broken the court's injunction halting the administration's new deportation amnesty, issuing thousands of work permits even after Judge Andrew S. Hanen had ordered the program stopped.

The stunning admission, filed just before midnight in Texas, where the case is being heard, is the latest misstep for the administration's lawyers, who are facing possible sanctions by Judge Hanen for their continued problems in arguing the case.

The Justice Department lawyers said Homeland Security, which is the defendant in the case, told them Wednesday that an immigration agency had approved about 2,000 applications for three-year work permits, which was part of Mr. Obama's new amnesty, even after Judge Hanen issued his Feb. 16 injunction halting the entire program."

In the past several weeks, not a day has passed without a new scandal surfacing revealing Clinton's lack of judgment whether it involves her abuse of email protocol, or some previously undisclosed financial relation between either Hillary Clinton or the Clinton foundation and an outside donor. The most egregious revelation took place a few days ago when it emerged that the Democratic presidential candidate had breached her agreement with the White House to name all foundation donors during her tenure as secretary of state.
Specifically, as Reuters reported, Clinton had promised the federal government that the Clinton Foundation and its associated charities would name all donors annually while she was the nation's top diplomat. "She also promised that the charities would let the State Department's ethics office review beforehand any proposed new foreign governments donations."
In March, the charities confirmed to Reuters for the first time that they had not complied with those pledges for most of Clinton's four years at the State Department.
The implication is that foreigners banned from donating to U.S. political campaigns could and likely did curry favor with her by giving to the charity that bears her name. The charities accepted new donations from at least six foreign governments while Clinton was secretary of state: Switzerland, Papua New Guinea, Swaziland, Rwanda, Sweden and Algeria. And, of course, Ukraine.
Quote:The charities never told the State Department about the new and increased donations. In two instances, the charities said this was the result of "oversights"; for the other six, they said those donations were exceptions to the agreement for various reasons.
The charities also stopped publishing full donor lists from 2010 onwards; the annually updated list omitted donors to the foundation's flagship health initiative.
But the most shocking development took place yesterday when the US State Department, via spokesman Jeff Rathke, told reporters that while it "regrets" that it did not get to review the new foreign government funding, it does not plan to look into the matter further, spokesman Jeff Rathke said on Thursday.
"The State Department has not and does not intend to initiate a formal review or to make a retroactive judgment about items that were not submitted during Secretary Clinton's tenure," Rathke told reporters.
And while the objective, unbiased media would have been up in arms had this gross abuse of government privileges and clear pandering to foreign interests occurred under a Republican candidate, there has been barely a peep from said media as far as Hillary's involvement is concerned.
One person, however, did speak up: that was AP's Matt Lee who asked why the State Department wouldn't investigate further to determine if the tens of millions of dollars in donations had influenced her, and thus the US State Department's, decisions in the 2011-2013 period.
Rathke's response: there is no evidence that these donations to the Clinton charities had any effect on Clinton's decisions. “We’re not going to make a retroactive review on these cases and we will not make a retroactive judgment,” he said.
Of course, the circular logic involved is so twisted even hardened, conflicted government apparatchiks would not fail to recognize that there is no way to make a determination if said previously undisclosed donations had influenced her decisions without a further inquiry, an inquiry the State Department refuses to make because it assumes that it would find nothing.
Lee quickly noted this told Rathke that “the reason you are not aware of anything is because the building is refusing to go back and look at it to see if there is anything that might raise a flag."
What followed was 6 minutes of squirming that would make even the most hard-core Clinton supporter blush red with embarrassment at the farce and the corruption evident at every single level of government, especially when certain pre-approved (by Wall Street) candidates are involved.
The full exchange below.

A new bombshell report details how Obama lied to the country about the raid which killed Osama Bin Laden in 2011.
The 10,000 word report, which was written by Pulitzer Prize winning journalist, Seymour Hersh, reveals how Obama ‘blatantly lied’ about the mission.
Hersh writes:
Quote:“The White House still maintains that the mission was an all-American affair, and that the senior generals of Pakistan’s army and Inter-Services Intelligence agency (ISI) were not told of the raid in advance. This is false, as are many other elements of the Obama administration’s account. “
He continues:
Quote:“The most blatant lie was that Pakistan’s two most senior military leaders – General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani, chief of the army staff, and General Ahmed Shuja Pasha, director general of the ISI – were never informed of the US mission. This remains the White House position despite an array of reports that have raised questions…”
Then, Hersh talks about a retired Pakistanti general named Durrani who he spoke with and what he learned:
Quote:“This spring I contacted Durrani and told him in detail what I had learned about the bin Laden assault from American sources: that bin Laden had been a prisoner of the ISI at the Abbottabad compound since 2006; that Kayani and Pasha knew of the raid in advance and had made sure that the two helicopters delivering the Seals to Abbottabad could cross Pakistani airspace without triggering any alarms; that the CIA did not learn of bin Laden’s whereabouts by tracking his couriers, as the White House has claimed since May 2011, but from a former senior Pakistani intelligence officer who betrayed the secret in return for much of the $25 million reward offered by the US, and that, while Obama did order the raid and the Seal team did carry it out, many other aspects of the administration’s account were false.”
A U.S. source who formerly worked in intelligence and with knowledge of Bin Laden’s presence in Abottabad told Hersh:
Quote:‘It didn’t take long to get the co-operation we needed, because the Pakistanis wanted to ensure the continued release of American military aid, a good percentage of which was anti-terrorism funding that finances personal security, such as bullet-proof limousines and security guards and housing for the ISI leadership,’ the retired official said.
He added that there were also under-the-table personal ‘incentives’ that were financed by off-the-books Pentagon contingency funds. ‘The intelligence community knew what the Pakistanis needed to agree – there was the carrot. And they chose the carrot. It was a win-win. We also did a little blackmail. We told them we would leak the fact that you’ve got bin Laden in your backyard. We knew their friends and enemies’ – the Taliban and jihadist groups in Pakistan and Afghanistan – ‘would not like it.’
The president repeatedly boasted about ‘killing Osama bin Laden’ on the way to re-election in 2012

Quote:By Stephen Dinan - The Washington Times - Sunday, May 10, 2015

A federal judge has reopened an open-records case trying to pry loose some of former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton’s emails, marking the first time a court has taken action on the email scandal.
Judge Reggie B. Walton agreed Friday to a joint request by the State Department and Judicial Watch, which sued in 2012 to get a look at some of Mrs. Clinton’s documents concerning a public relations push.
Both sides agreed that the revelation that Mrs. Clinton had kept her own email server separate from the government, and exclusively used her own email account created on that server, meant that she had shielded her messages from valid open-records requests.

Chump Change  --- Rubio has empty pockets and lots of debt

Quote:Florida Republican Sen. Marco Rubio, meanwhile, recently had to liquidate a retirement fund to pay for a new fridge.

That detail was part of an array of questionable financial decisions --

including bad real-estate deals Whip
hundreds of thousands of dollars in school debt  Doh
and a handful of luxury purchases Anon
including an $80,000 boat Hmm2
that have left Rubio one of the poorest candidates in the GOP presidential field Nopity
with an estimated net worth of just $444,000 Sheep  in 2013
according to the Center for Responsive Politics.

Taken together, Rubio's financial choices prompted The New York Times
to outline "persistent doubts about his financial management"
that could impact his presidential bid in a profile this week.

El Stupidissimo
Jeb Beanpole Bush

Quote:Republican presidential contender Jeb Bush Horsepoop is warning Russia Rofl
that if he becomes president Jawdrop
the U.S. will do more to tamp down Vladimir Putin's aggression Whip
especially in Ukraine and Eastern Europe
 and to
"isolate his corrupt leadership from his people."

But Bush did little to tip his hand on what those steps would be Anon

Bush was critical of what he termed a reactive approach to crisis in Eastern Europe by the Obama administration.

But his prescriptions were largely along the lines of what the U.S. is already doing,
primarily pushing economic sanctions on Russia and sending military equipment and economic aid to Ukraine Hmm2

As for NATO military exercises being conducted in Eastern Europe,

Bush agreed they were "forward-leaning"
and a useful signal to Moscow of the alliance's determination.
"I think we should probably do it more robustly," he said.

The rules, coming from the Department of Housing and Urban Development, could withhold block grants to communities if they don’t build enough so-called affordable housing in wealthy neighborhoods, the Hill reported.

Today was National Vomit Day in the presidential races.

Hillary held a big rally and El Stupidissimo announced his presidential campaign,
predictably setting the stage for the Hillary - Jeb finale.

If Jeb - el Stupidissimo - Bush makes it there past the momentum of Rubio and Walker.

So this was the TV media news coverage:

Just (Accidentally) watched about 20 seconds of Trump announcing his presidential candidacy. I got a full twenty seconds of his saying he's a nice guy, and introducing his family by name, because the remote slipped down between the arm and cushion of the chair I was in.
Where's V on this one? He says so eloquently, those things I can seldom bring myself to put in print. If V feels about Trump the way I do, I figure I will at least be able to second his motion.
I must mention this one caveat, if put to it, I could give Trump my ear for a full minute, or even two over anything Christie might have to say!

Can you imagine such a team in the Whitehouse?
Trump & Christie in charge? The poster children for unabashed Buffoonery at it's most grandiose.

and he might just make El Stupidissimo look even more doltish than he already does.
Rubio, and Paul still are the best choices with Walker on the sidelines playing Karma Chameleon
Donald Dump makes for political entertainment in a painful field of Republican stooges.
In between his faux - pas and political slobber he hits on some excellent topics with a new perspective,
regardless of the pompousity in his political positioning prior to the debates.

I remember a dozen or so years ago
a local worker stopped in his pickup truck and changed a flat tire on Dallas Divide ( Montrose to Telluride road )
on a fancy limo stopped on the road
by the time the local got home Trump had paid his $70,000 house mortgage off
made headlines around here and sounds better that Hillary's "foundation".
