Would that we were still such a people as these.

RE: Next President of the United Fates of America - Wook - 07-26-2015

many things will effect the next election.
Quote:Oregon law requires public employees and elected officials to abide by the basic rule children learn in math: Show your work.
They must save and share their work on paper documents, digital files and email.

Yet at nearly every rung of government, from unpaid school board members to the former U.S. secretary of state, officials are using personal email accounts that may help them keep public work hidden, shield them from being accountable and increase the chance files will be lost or leaked.

In Oregon, few jurisdictions definitively address the issue with employees and elected officials.

An informal survey by The Oregonian/OregonLive of a dozen state and local agencies found that only one – the state Bureau of Labor and Industries – forbids staff and leaders from using personal emails to conduct public work. At best, the majority of agencies remind employees that personal emails are public records and encourage forwarding them to work accounts, the survey found.

The problem with personal emails became vividly clear as the scandal surrounding John Kitzhaber and Cylvia Hayes led to the release – after many months of public records battles – of thousands of emails from the former governor, his fiancée and his top-level staffers.
The release showed Kitzhaber used his private email to pursue everything from basic office policies to highly sensitive strategies for reducing Oregon's pension plans and pushing forward on construction of the Columbia River Crossing.
Additional record requests have shown the practice was widespread in his administration. A recent request for work emails from personal accounts of his last two chiefs of staff produced 967 emails and attachments. That was just communications with Kitzhaber or Hayes.

Some public agencies' policies are more strongly worded than others, stating that public work done on personal accounts or devices belongs to the agency. Yet no agencies check to ensure employees and elected officials follow guidelines.
Universally, the policies rely on employees readily making their personal accounts available to their employers. But that's not always the case.
When Hayes came under scrutiny last October, she stopped responding to requests for the private emails on which she conducted state business and she didn't provide her emails to the governor's office. Attorneys for Hayes and Kitzhaber are fighting to keep their personal emails private.

"This is really concerning for me. This is a part of our basic training," said Mary Beth Herkert, the state archivist. She is responsible for retaining public records and disposing of them when legal timelines pass.
"Public officials," she said, "should never mix business with their personal life."

Rick Perry thinking he is Roy Rogers,
is a just worthless bobble headed clown overall,
and he is trying to drag himself out of the gutter drain of low polling results,
with a convenient appeal to the gun rights conservatives.

The one big problem that I see with guns at a movie theater,
is that if a down-n-out psychopath starts shooting,
there may be 2 or 3 retards Whip
with guns pinning down other movie goers,
by responding in a cross fire from all directions.

Prick Perry on bringing your guns to the movies

Gun free zones Whip ... movies, churches, football games ...

Bring your Kalishnikov AK-47  to the Super Bowl and please shoot Tom Brady first.

Bring your Kalishnikov AK-47 to the movie premier of ... Putin and Snoop Dog do Girls Gone Wild,
and drop a round or two into Putin Whip
but leave Snoop standing,
to tell bitches to show you their titties.

Show Vladimir your titties bitch,
said Snoop.

if you allow guns at theaters,
and in the process of taking out the Psychofuck as he babbles expletives at helpless victims,
and you accidentally shoot Al Gore in the crossfire,
at the Global Warming Carnival and Zoo video premier,
then you have to be charged with first degree manslaughter.

Show Al Gore your titties bitch,
said Snoop.

If you allow guns at churches,
and you shoot the entire choir of fat black ladies singing "we shall overcome"
in the crossfire at the Al Sharpton sermon,
you get charged with first degree manslaughter.

Show Al Sharpton your titties bitch,
said Snoop.

If you bring more titties to the movies Smoke
then the psychofuck might be distracted just enough
to shoot himself by accident as he pulls his gun out.

Show the psychopath your titties bitch,
said Snoop,
then Snoop shot the psychopath between the eyes and said, ...
"payback's a bitch,
and those are the last titties you get to see, asshole"

Quote:Obama calls for banning of American Revolution flag
Posted on July 25, 2015 by Dr. Eowyn | 43 Comments
[Image: gadsden-flag.png?w=500]
The Gadsden flag is a historical American flag with a yellow field depicting a rattlesnake coiled and ready to strike. Positioned below the rattlesnake are the words “Don’t tread on me.” The flag is named after American general and statesman Christopher Gadsden (1724–1805), who designed it in 1775 during the American Revolution.
The timber rattlesnake and eastern diamondback rattlesnake both populate the geographical areas of the original 13 colonies. As the American Revolution grew, the snake began to see more use as a symbol of the colonies. In December 1775, Benjamin Franklin published an essay in the Pennsylvania Journal under the pseudonym American Guesser in which he suggested that the rattlesnake was a good symbol for the American spirit. The rattlesnake symbol was officially adopted by the Continental Congress in 1778.
In our times, the Tea (Taxed Enough Already) Party movement adopted the Gadsden flag as their banner.

Obama calls Planned Parenthood’s selling of aborted babies’ body parts “ethical,” but he wants to ban the flag that is a symbol of the American Revolution for Independence.
At the NAACP convention on Tuesday, July 21, 2015, Obama called for the banning of the Confederate and the Tea Party flags, calling them “racist, divisive symbols.”
From Washington Weekly:
Quote:In a 45-minute speech, Obama called for reducing or eliminating mandatory minimum sentences, reviewing the use of the solitary confinement and banning of Confederate and Tea Party Flags on public property, among other things.
“Any system that allows us to turn a blind-eye to hopelessness and despair, that’s not a justice system, that’s an injustice system,” Obama said Tuesday. “Justice is not only the absence of oppression, it’s the absence of racist, divisive symbols in our public discourse.”
Hey, race-provocateur Obama, here’s a flag for you (h/t Anon):

RE: Next President of the United Fates of America - Vianova - 07-27-2015

Trump absolutely stole all the steam Jeb El Stupidissimo Bush had.
Bush announced his candidacy, and had the cat bird seat for 2 days.
Trump announced his candidacy the day after Bush did,
and in a few days he was at the top, ... a great tactical move that worked.

Rubio, unlike Trump, disappeared the day Bush announced his candidacy,
and has sank like a rock ever since.
Look at those headlines.

Quote:Virtually every major pollster has shown Rubio’s chances
at being a serious contender for the GOP nomination slipping away in recent months,
and the new CNN-ORC International poll is no different.
Rubio was supposed to be the golden boy who could woo the donor class
but still excite the grassroots.
He’s succeeded in winning over lots of big-money backing,
with billionaire donors like Oracle’s Larry Ellison,
casino mogul Sheldon Adelson,
Miami-area auto dealer Norman Braman,
and more behind him.
But he’s failed so far to gain traction among the voting class—
the people a candidate needs to win over to win elections since politicians,
as much as they might want to, can’t buy electoral victory.

Trump again knows when to pounce.
Trump knows that Dummy Dust Jeb Bush isn't any immediate threat,
but he also sees exactly who is standing there in the polls next to Bush.

Rofl  Trump's Whipping Boy Du Jour

Trump goes on the attack again, with Scott Walker as his latest target

Quote:“Finally, I can attack!”
Trump said at a packed rally at Oskaloosa High School.

“Wisconsin’s doing terribly. Whip
It’s in turmoil. Whip
The roads are a disaster Whip
because they don’t have any money Whip to rebuild them.
They’re borrowing money like crazy. Whip
They projected a $1 billion surplus, Whip
and it turns out to be a deficit of $2.2 billion. Whip
The schools are a disaster. Whip
The hospitals and education was a disaster. Whip

And he was totally in favor of Common Core!”

The mention of the state-driven education standards — from which Walker,
like many Republican governors, has walked away — incited a prolonged boo.

“The dude’s badass, no question about it,”
said Dave Moore, 30, a National Guard veteran and welder.
“Republicans keep sending chihuahuas to a pitbull fight and being nice,
and the only time they’re mean is to each other.”

On his first visit to the caucus state since the McCain insult,
Trump drew a crowd of 1,300
in a city of 11,463.
He cleaned up his remarks about veterans,
from the stage and in the crowd.
He talked with characteristic gusto about
securing a spot in the party’s first sanctioned debate, "
scheduled for Aug. 6.
“I’m going to be there,” Trump told reporters, “much to the chagrin of many people.”

Trump did all of this at a four-hour spectacle —

the Make America Great Again Rally and Family Picnic —
that felt like a New York cinematographer’s idea of an “Iowa event.”

A campaign bus stood unused until Trump posed in front of his,
giving a double thumbs-up before hopping into an SUV.
The outdoor barbecue was so large that Trump endorser Tana Goertz —
who had been a contestant on Trump’s NBC series, “The Apprentice” —
asked the crowd to gorge themselves a little more.
“Mr. Trump can’t take all this food home on the plane,” she said.

What I really like about Trump,
is that he stole the momentum that Bush had,
right out of Bush's pocket.

Trump might get .... liquidated ...
if he actually stays at the top and looks like he will take the 'Pubs ticket.

RE: Next President of the United Fates of America - Fsbirdhouse - 07-27-2015

Trump's popularity taking over just about everything is a puzzle inside a riddle wrapped in an enigma,
(To paraphrase Churchill on Russia)

If he can do what he is now doing against all the odds....will he actually be able to do all he claims he wants to do once in office?
Considering the other party's alternative, wouldn't it be interesting to see?
The politicians in both houses and both party's would fight him tooth and nail to be sure, but he's been watching Obama's pen, and just how impotent they have been against it!

RE: Next President of the United Fates of America - Fsbirdhouse - 07-28-2015

I am a bigot and racist.
Every Brown man, Black man, Red man, and Yellow man is as well.
Some of us know it, and will admit it. The best of us will. The best of us are aware that there are good individuals of every color, tho perhaps very few as a whole. Hypocrites abound. I'm one. I know it.

Why don't we just say it like it is, and get rid of this political correctness. It's tedious, and I'm tired of it.
For instance, I have got to the point where I'm dying to yell "Dumb Nigger" at the top of my voice every time I see Obama on TV!
Watching the news tonight as they talked of the Iran deal, I was practically shaking in place. I knew I was gonna do it, and just as he stepped on the stage to explain the deal, I finally cut loose at the top of my voice!
It was John Kerry.............well............Alrighty then.

Quote:“That’s Creepy Weird” – Hillary Clinton Gives Climate Policy Speech In Empty Room With No Audience…
Posted on July 27, 2015 by sundance
Reading the Associated Press report of Hillary Clinton in Des Moines today you might think she outlined a policy speech on alternate energy to an interested Iowa audience.

Here’s the AP report:
Quote:(Via AP) Hillary Rodham Clinton is detailing new energy proposals in Iowa to address climate change. She calls global warming one of the “most urgent threats of our time.”
But she’s still not taking a position on the Keystone XL oil pipeline.
The Democratic presidential contender is proposing that every home in the United States be powered by renewable sources by 2027. Her plan calls for installation of 500 million solar panels over four years.
Clinton laid out clean-energy ideas during a tour of a regional bus station in Des Moines, Iowa, on Monday.

Quote:When asked about the Keystone XL oil pipeline opposed by environmental activists, she would not comment except to say she wants a State Department review of the project to run its course.  (link)
But what the media didn’t report, is the room for her speech was devoid of actual supporters, or the public, or, well, people.
It was a campaign policy speech given to a room filled with nothing but bicycles.

Quote:Washington (CNN)Republican frontrunner Donald Trump said Friday that the U.S. should only step in on Crimea if European countries ask for help and, until then, it remains "Europe's problem."
"Let me explain first of all — this is Europe's problem much more than ours, OK?" Trump told CNN during a trip to Scotland.
"And Europe isn't complaining as much as we are. But this is more of a Europe problem," Trump continued. "And when Europe comes to us and says, 'We want your help, we want your help,' but they're not really doing that. They're dealing with Russia, they're taking in the gas, they're taking in the oil — they're not really doing that. And you know, we're making a big deal out of it."
"But why isn't Germany leading this one?" Trump asked. "You know Germany is a very rich, very powerful nation. Why aren't they dealing on it moreso? Everything the United States — we're like the policeman of the world."

I am starting to like Trump
a little.

RE: Next President of the United Fates of America - Vianova - 08-01-2015

Other than Rand Paul ... the choices are slim ... so Trump as the biggest dick head candidate,
is showing how "big ten inch" politics works,
and he isn't sliming around with double talk like most of the rest of them.
In that regard ... that is why he is polling so well.

Actually would like to see him sustain the momentum,
and keep Jeb inside the rim of the toilet,
as Jeb flounders with mediocrity and shallow substance.

Only Rand Paul has shown similar spunk lately, that Trump has shown repeatedly.

The rest of the candidates bore you to death.
The public begins to sicken of Hillary,
who at this point is dangerously treading down the same slide into the glue trap for rats,
that she did when Obama overtook her.

messy, messy, messy.

Trump remains the entertainment factor,

Quote:Good evening, I’m still reporting on the economy.
The latest national poll shows Donald Trump with a commanding lead over the other 16 contenders for the Republican Presidential nomination – only 5 days before the first debates on Fox.
The One America News Network shows Trump capturing 30.8% of those polled, compared to only 13.3% for second place Jeb Bush and 12.5% for Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker.
Trump critics have complained that he has been too changable over the years.
So, let’s go to the video tape.
27 years ago, Donald Trump appeared on Oprah Winfrey’s TV show.
Trump had taken out a series of ads in major newspapers across the country criticizing U.S. foreign policy as having giving away American economic interests.
Trump is no in-depth policy genius like the media expects our presidential candidates to be today. His message was as simple then as now – America’s foreign policy and domestic policy should be pro-American. Like all rich people, he is smart enough to surround himself with experts he trusts.
But even then Trump slamed the “free trade” myth – way before it related to China.
Oprah then asks him if he has Presidential aspirations:
I’m still reporting from Washington. Good day.

RE: Next President of the United Fates of America - Fsbirdhouse - 08-06-2015

I have never seen a politician so effectively shoot himself in the foot, engage in such buffoonery, nor insult the moderators so stupidly as has Trump.
He will be getting his last great press coverage in this affair over the next few weeks as the biggest laughing stock that ever was. So ends his run... and good riddance.

RE: Next President of the United Fates of America - Mayito7777 - 08-07-2015

Rand Paul shot himself in the foot too, he blamed Trump of financing campaigns for democratic candidates and Trump repplied "I have giving plenty of money to your campaign too Rand" Hilarious.

To me Trump is the nominee, because the American people are tired of the BS lying bastards politicians.

RE: Next President of the United Fates of America - Fsbirdhouse - 08-07-2015

The talking heads played down his stupidity to a degree, but the common folks interviewed afterward almost all indicated they were very disappointed in Trump.

Shirley Temple Paul blew it.

Quote:According to polling by Fox News’ Frank Luntz, there was one remark at the GOP debate that caught more attention than all the other comments of the night.
The remark came from former Arkansas governor Mike Huckabee. Huckabee said:
Quote:“Ronald Reagan said trust but verify. President Obama is trust but vilify.
He trusts our enemies and vilifies everyone who disagrees with him. And the reason we disagree with him has nothing to do with party. It has to do with the incredibly dangerous place that this world is going to be as a result of a deal in which we got nothing.
We didn’t even get four hostages out. We got nothing.”
Luntz reported that Huckabee’s statement was the number one “dial clip” of the entire two hour debate – and approached a perfect 100 score.

Dow Dumps Almost 1000 Points From Highs To 6-Month Lows, Crude Carnage Continues

Quote:If the winner of the GOP presidential debate was determined by Internet buzz, it was Donald Trump by a landslide.
Trump was the most searched-about candidate on Google, the most talked-about candidate on Facebook and the most mentioned candidate on Twitter throughout the debate, data provided by the three sites found.

On Google, Trump dominated search queries from all fifty states during the prime-time debate (prior to the debate, only Gov. Scott Walker’s homestate of Wisconsin had more searches for Walker than Trump).

The only candidates to surpass Trump in Google searches at any moment were Texas Sen. Ted Cruz, who peaked right around 9:12 p.m., when Cruz answered his first question, and Dr. Ben Carson, who bested Trump four times throughout the night, though only in quick spikes.

Education and taxes were the most searched topics on Google throughout the debate, with abortion shooting to the top of the list just one time, around 10:24 p.m., when Megyn Kelly asked Gov. Jeb Bush why if he is against Planned Parenthood he sat on a Bloomberg board that gave “well publicized” donations to the organization.

On Facebook, Trump was the most discussed candidate followed by Carson, Sen. Rand Paul, former Gov. Mike Huckabee and Gov. Chris Christie.

The top issues on Facebook during the debate were immigration, racial issues, the economy, education and abortion, according to Facebook.

Trump wins by not losing, by simply holding his own in the debate.

That is all he had to do in the first debate.
he will get better at the whole game quickly,
and the next debate isn;t that far away.
My bets are that he will emerge relatively unscathed by just losing a few points at most.

A day prior to the debate Trump was talking about how awful Bush is,
with his arms spread out like this Dunno
Quote:... Bush, he doesn't even know how to put on a suit and tie ...

That is great entertainment.
Trump is affecting Bush and Walker the most in polls, but primarily Bush.
Bush lost the debate from my viewpoint.
He did nothing to stimulate anybody beyond a drowsey sigh,
and is very slow to display any momentum in sharp tack politicking.

Bush is like Buddy Hackett trying to be a serious politician defining domestic and foreign policy.
You can only take so much of the dummy dusting.

Rand Paul shredded Christie,
and did well enough, he is actually just as big of a target as Trump is.

Quote:Last week, members of both parties of the U.S. Senate voted to kill my bill to defund Planned Parenthood.
Planned Parenthood's allies voted to keep half a BILLION of your taxpayer dollars flowing to an organization that routinely kills unborn babies, dismembers them, and sells off their body parts for profit.
You and I have created a huge amount of momentum over the past week by forcing a vote on my bill to defund Planned Parenthood and expose their allies in Congress.
Now it's up to you to keep the momentum going through the presidential debates.
Will you sign your Defund Planned Parenthood petition right away to help me keep this issue at the forefront of the national conversation to strip Planned Parenthood of every dime of our tax dollars?…

I think watching Judge Judy get a piece of Hillary would be

The V.A. decided to go confiscate the guns of a Vietnam Veteran in Idaho for having a mild stroke. After seeing the response, they decided not to do it today...... The people are starting to wake up as the government steps up their onslaught of socialist regulations. As a Veteran I would like to say sincerely, THANK YOU for standing up for our veterans!

Quote:Rand Paul Helps Send Senate Home, Stalls CISA Vote August 5, 2015 by Nick Hankoff

August 5, 2015—The Cybersecurity Information Sharing Act (CISA) was feared by privacy advocates to be passed today. Fortunately, Senator Rand Paul held up the process, forcing the Senate to wait until after its month-long recess ends on Sept

From the Washington Times:
Delays were imminent, however, because Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky., was insisting on amendments that were unrelated to the legislation. One Paul provision would require an outside audit of the Federal Reserve. Another would strip federal funding of sanctuary cities.

Paul continued to push for his amendments, according to those close to the negotiations, and will get at least one vote on an amendment when the bill comes up in the fall.
Also known as S. 754, CISA is considered “a surveillance bill in disguise” by Stop CISA, a group sending faxes to Congress to express its opposition to the “stuck in 1984″ legislation.

Like what you’re reading? Keep going by contributing to the cause of freedom.
In addition to CISA, the Senate will also be voting on extending government spending beyond September 30, the Iran nuclear deal, and a comprehensive funding bill for highways and transportation

Quote:Trump Jumps to 50%
Submitted by IWB, on August 8th, 2015

The roar of the awakening sleepy giant could be heard from coast to coast all day as social media and news organizations across America overwhelmingly disapproved of the treatment of Donald Trump by the Fox News team at last night’s Republican debate.
Fox obviously thought they could knock Trump out in a single night, but it looks like they were wrong.

Late this evening, the first polling news started to filter out confirming the outrage. According to the Wall Street Journal, despite critics once again predicting the demise of the Donald:
“Time magazine found that Mr. Trump took 47% of nearly 55,000 votes. Son. Marco Rubio of Florida was in second place with 10%.”

47 to 10%???? You’ve got to be kidding. A typical poll sample size is less than 2,000 people. 55,000 people is 25 times that size. But, it gets even better. The Wall Street Journal continued:
“The Drudge Report’s poll found more than half of nearly 362,000 voters favored Mr. Trump, well above everyone else.”
Rush Limbaugh even lashed out at Fox:
“I have never seen this kind of public backlash against Fox News personalities since the network launched in 1997.”
A Bloomberg report chastised Fox’s Megyn Kelly for the name calling questioning of Trump in regards to Rosie O’Donnell, saying it was:
“something Rachael Maddow would ask.”

I’m still reporting from Washington. Good day.
