There was another Fox/Carlson clip about certain "incidents"
and government interest.
Author Leslie Kean was interviewed about her book...
https://books.google.com/books?id=Mzc6R2...ok&f=false.
This is an 11 page preview and contains a sampling of elements in the '90s Belgian sightings.

When I was looking for that I saw another book on the military/political involvement during WWII and since.
This is a very long preview and is very interesting.

Excellent posts, thanks for the links on the UFO literature!

I looked at the UFO's and Government: A Historical Inquiry --- second link in Kalter's post.

The chapters have an occasional page missing -- I assume by the publisher,
as this is a preview for the book,
but the chapter on:
The CIA Solution is the last 30 pages they offer,
and worth a quick read through.
Consistently throughout the chapter the CIA is working "psychological warfare"
with the UFO issue.

I read passages from Leslie Kean book : Giant UFO's Over English Channel--
and the Belgian UFO's
I remember a lot of these events in old news.

Great material to refresh the memory with in historical perspective,
and in relation to what is happening now with the disclosure pantomine,
in the Pentagon videos,
and the big push by this new CIA- DoD corporation.

Deo, did you find any links that may show some of the text from Dolan books?

Sorry V, I did not look for links to text excerpts from the Dolan 2 volume set because I own copies of both (revised edition).

Dolan is a military historian who became fascinated by the long and fraught military reactions to weird "aerial phenomena" and compiled these two volumes using (as much as possible) primary resources, FOIA requests and other sources.  It is a well-researched project with copious footnotes and a detailed index.

(As a military historian, Dolan starts with the foo fighters in 1941.  After first acknowledging the long history of strange and unknown lights in the sky his task is to record the US military/intelligence experience that can be publicly known and documented.)

Research suggests Trump's 'Muslim ban' produced rare shift in public opinion
January 12, 2018 by Tess Eyrich, University of California - Riverside

President Donald Trump signed Executive Order 13769 on Jan. 27, 2017, effectively barring individuals from seven predominately Muslim countries from entering the United States for 90 days.

Within a day of his decree, thousands of protesters flooded airports around the country in opposition to what was quickly deemed a "Muslim ban," and by March 6, the order had been formally revoked.
According to a political scientist at the University of California, Riverside, and his colleagues, visible resistance to the order in the immediate aftermath of its signing may have produced a rare shift in public opinion that resulted in mass opposition to Trump's policy.
The shift was caused by "an influx of information portraying the ban as being at odds with egalitarian principles of American identity and religious liberty," said researchers Loren Collingwood, an assistant professor of political science at UCR; Nazita Lajevardi of Michigan State University; and Kassra A. R. Oskooii of the University of Delaware.
Their findings, published last week in the journal Political Behavior, suggest the bounty of information that surfaced after the order went into effect—information that painted the ban as deeply un-American and in fact "incompatible with American values"—contributed to a broad-based increase in opposition to it.
The researchers compared the results of two surveys of the same 311 people—one conducted just days before the order's announcement, and the other in the two weeks after. They found that among those respondents, more than 30 percent moved against the ban in the interim.
Those who shifted most radically, meanwhile, were "high American identifiers." Such respondents were shown to consider their status as Americans who belong to one nation to be a defining element of their identities.
Media coverage of anti-ban demonstrations, the researchers noted, often depicted protesters "shrouded in American flags," visually linking the concept of more inclusive immigration policies to American egalitarianism. The movement against the ban also benefited from the outspokenness of various news commentators and publications, many of whom were quick to criticize the order by characterizing it as antithetical to core American ideals.
To test their results, the researchers also looked at attitudes toward two other hot-button issues linked to executive orders that were signed just days before No. 13769: the Keystone Pipeline and the U.S.-Mexico border wall. They found that although attitudes toward both did shift slightly, the differences were not statistically significant.
The profound response to the ban, the researchers wrote, represents "one instance in which the priming of American identity shifted citizens' opinions toward more inclusive, rather than restrictive, immigration-related policy stances."
Overall, their findings suggest that American identity can be "primed" to produce shifts in public opinion. It also demonstrates that public opinion may be more malleable than previously thought, especially as certain policy issues cycle in and out of the news.

Quantum physics turned into tangible reality
January 16, 2018 by Felix Würsten, ETH Zurich

When the silicon wafer is stimulated at a single point using ultrasound, it begins to vibrate – but only at the corners. Credit: ETH Zürich
ETH physicists have developed a silicon wafer that behaves like a topological insulator when stimulated using ultrasound. They have thereby succeeded in turning an abstract theoretical concept into a macroscopic product.

The usual procedure goes like this: you have a complex physical system and attempt to explain its behaviour through as simple a model as possible. Sebastian Huber, Assistant Professor at the Institute for Theoretical Physics, has shown that this procedure also works in reverse: he develops macroscopic systems that exhibit exactly the same properties predicted by theory, but which have not yet been observed at this level.
He succeeded in creating an illustrative example two and a half years ago. Together with his team, he built a mechanical device made of 270 pendulums connected by springs in such a way that the installation behaves like a topological insulator. This means that the pendulum and springs are positioned so that a vibrational excitation from the outside only moves the pendulums at the edges of the installation, but not the ones in the middle (as ETH News reported).
Vibration only in the corners
The new project, which will be published this week in the journal Nature, is also focused on a macroscopic system. This time, however, he created no large mechanical device, but a much more manageably-sized object. With his team, Huber created a 10 x 10 centimetre silicon wafer that consists of 100 small plates connected to each other via thin beams. The key aspect is that when the wafer is stimulated using ultrasound, only the plates in the corners vibrate; the other plates remain still, despite their connections.
Huber drew his inspiration for the new material from a work published around a year ago by groups from Urbana-Champaign and Princeton; the researchers presented a new theoretical approach for a second-order topological insulator. "In a conventional topological insulator, the vibrations only spread across the surface, but not inside," explains Huber. "The phenomenon is reduced by one dimension." In the case of the pendulum installation, this means that the two-dimensional arrangement led to a one-dimensional vibration pattern along the edges.
In a second-order topological insulator, however, the phenomenon is reduced by two dimensions. Accordingly, with a two-dimensional silicon wafer, the vibration no longer occurs along the edges, but only in the corners, at a zero-dimensional point. "We are the first to succeed in experimentally creating the predicted higher-order topological insulator," says Huber.

A new theoretical concept
Huber has again created something that behaves in exactly the way predicted by the theory. To solve this "inverse problem", he used a systematic process that he developed together with the group led by Chiara Daraio, now a professor at Caltech, and which he has published this week in the journal Nature Materials. Broadly speaking, Huber shows how a theoretically predicted functionality can be turned into concrete geometry. "In our example, we tested it using mechanical vibrations, by coupling elements with clearly defined modes of vibration using weak links," says Huber. "But the process can also be transferred to other applications, such as to optical or electrical systems."
Expansion to the third dimension
Huber already has clear plans for how to proceed: he wants to achieve a three-dimensional second-order topological insulator, in which the vibrations can be transmitted one-dimensionally. He recently received a Consolidator Grant from the European Research Council (ERC) for this project. Huber explains the basic idea: "We stack a number of these two-dimensional structures on top of each other, so that a three-dimensional form emerges. In this form, information or energy can be conducted from point A to point B through a one-dimensional channel."
Huber can think of a few possible applications. For example, such new topological insulators could be used to build robust and precise waveguides for communications networks. They could also be of use in the energy sector, for example for energy harvesting, in which energy from a diffuse surrounding source is focused for technological use.
Also of interest to theoreticians
Huber's results will not only be of interest to engineers and materials researchers, but also theoretical physicists. "The key finding from a theoretical viewpoint is that certain second-order topological insulators cannot be mathematically described as a dipole, as conventional topological insulators are, but as quadrupoles, which are far more complex," explains Huber. "The fact that we have been able to implement this experimentally in a macroscopic structure for the first time is therefore also a breakthrough for theoreticians."

Wonder if Delonge's been 'tampered with' ??

Since it is understood who he is dealing with perhaps we should examine his stimuli

https://www.billboard.com/articles/colum...o-timeline
On Saturday, The New York Timespublished an article detailing a hidden UFO program in the Pentagon, the Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program. Among the many surprises of the report include that the organization was run by Luis Elizondo, a military intelligence official who resigned in October over lack of attention to “the many accounts from the Navy and other services of unusual aerial systems interfering with military weapon platforms and displaying beyond-next-generation capabilities.” Also, the program costs about $22 million of the Defense Department’s $600 billion annual budget.
One person who was surely unfazed by the dense information in the article is former Blink-182 frontman Tom DeLonge, who has been outspoken about the existence of life outside of Earth for decades. Elinzondo, since his resignation, has joined DeLonge in his aerospace research company, To the Stars Academy of Arts and Sciences.
Trying to find the countless interviews of DeLonge talking about his connection with the extraterrestrial world would take hours, so we’ve broken it down for you. Here’s a timeline of the rocker’s most notable UFO moments.

Tom DeLonge's Alien Research Organization Cited in NY Times UFO Report

1999 – Blink-182’s third studio album Enema of the State features single titled, “Aliens Exist”
“I know the CIA would say/What you hear is all hearsay/I wish someone would tell me what was right” DeLonge sings in the upbeat punk tune. The last line of the song references a folklore called Majestic 12, an organization formed in 1947 composed of scientists, military and intelligence officials dedicated to the investigation of alien spacecraft. Blink-182 since released other space-themed songs, such as “The Flight of Apollo” and “Valkyrie Missile.”
Early 2000s – DeLonge’s talks passionately about hidden UFO information in the military
In the clip that seems like it was recorded in 2001 based on his attire, Delonge talks to an unidentified interviewer. He mentions a friend on the east coast who spent years talking to government employees who have witnessed UFO activity—and also shows the camera his collection of video tapes with 136 hours of testimonies. The singer then gives an example of a man who was part of a nuclear clean-up task force. The man says in his testimony that he was brought seven stories below the Pentagon, through a maze of elevators and tunnels and ended up face to face with an alien, and “ instantly every little motion—fear, pain, happiness, everything—came out at the same time.”

January 2015 – DeLonge leaves Blink-182
The original statement by the remaining band mates quoted that a week before the band was scheduled to go into the studio, DeLonge’s manager emailed the group explaining that the guitarist would rather work on non-musical endeavors for the foreseeable future. In a later interview with
Mic, he said he needed to take the opportunity to help out with a “national security issue” (which he denied on Twitter).

The Truth Is Out There: Tom DeLonge Quit Blink-182 to Focus on UFOs

February 2015 – DeLonge tells Papermag that he’s made contact with aliens
DeLonge recounted a time in the interview where he was camping at a secret base on the flight path to Area 51. He was told that by shutting down his mind and projecting his thoughts, he would be able to achieve extraterrestrial communication. He then woke up at 3 a.m. and felt a strange phenomenon: “My whole body felt like it had static electricity…It sounded like there were about 20 people there, talking. And instantly my mind goes, OK, they’re at our campsite, they’re not here to hurt us, they’re talking about shit, but I can’t make out what they’re saying. But they’re working on something.”
Late 2015 – DeLonge is the founder, President and CEO of To the Stars Academy of Arts & Science
According to the company’s website, the mission is “to be a powerful vehicle for change by creating a consortium among science, aerospace and entertainment that will work collectively to allow gifted researchers the freedom to explore exotic science and technologies with the infrastructure and resources to rapidly transition them to products that can change the world.” The company was built based on the frustration of government secrecy on the topics of space and the universe.
April 2016 – Sekret Machines Book 1: Chasing Shadows is released
The book, co-written by A.J. Hartley, dives deep into the U.S. Department of Defense, exploring metaphorical dark corners of the government. “This is not just Tom talking about UFOs again,” DeLong told Entertainment Weekly. “I think that it’s a heroic story and it’s an important topic that we’re still dealing with today.” The next chapter of the franchise, Sekret Machines: Gods: Volume 1 of Gods Man & War, was released in March 2017.

5 Things Tom DeLonge Thinks About Aliens

October 2016 – WikiLeaks show DeLonge’s connection with the U.S. government
Among the piles of information exposed by WikiLeaks was the extensive email chain between DeLonge and Hillary Clinton’s campaign chairman, John Podesta. The [url=http://blogs.wsj.com/washwire/2016/10/10/wikileaks-reveals-ufo-%E2%80%8Bmessages-in-clinton-campaign-emails/]Wall Street Journal reported that the rocker wrote to Podesta vaguely about their shared interest of intellectual life and greater government disclosure. Furthermore, DeLonge revealed that he had been working with former Air Force Major General William N. McCasland to help the rocker assemble his UFO advisory team. In an email from 2015, DeLonge told Podesta that he would like to introduce him to two officials who “were in charge of most fragile divisions, as it relates to Classified Science and DOD topics.” There was no further information on whether DeLonge actually met with Podesta.
February 2017 – The guitarist receives UFO Researcher of the Year Award
OpenMinds.tv gave DeLong the honor at the 2017 International UFO Congress. While he wasn’t there to personally accept his award he delivered an acceptance speech on video, mentioning that his work isn’t done: "I want you as an educated group of people to read between the lines and look at the history of what I've been doing over the past couple years and get a sense for what the hell I'm getting ready to do. If you guys come along for the ride, it's going to be pretty fantastic.”

December 2017 – To the Stars Academy of Arts & Science releases UFO “evidence”
The footage of declassified military videos was released at the same time as the New York Times article. While the actual visual isn’t clear enough to give definitive evidence of UFOs, the videos from 2004 show a white oval object moving quickly and erratically. Two Navy pilots can be heard trying to make sense of the phenomenon and one shouts “Look at that thing, dude!” The New York Times also posted the pilot’s firsthand account of the experience.

media report 2015-2016:
Furthermore,

DeLonge revealed that he had been working with former Air Force Major General
William N. McCasland
to help the rocker assemble his UFO advisory team.

I think he has the first remote control brain implants already installed,
and

Harold Foo-dini Puthoff has the joy stick controls.

that probably plays a role ...
The virology experts are there as well to:
facilitate viral recombinant DNA testing in "development of telepathy brain centers"
aka
biosynthetheic glands as implants?
mutations?
brain proteins and enzymes ...
Neuro-genetics ...

This is also why ---> two top ---> traumatic brain injury scientists ---> are part of the main Team <---

One already had a 10 million dollar NIH grant to document traumatic brain injury.

Goofy spongiform brain splattered Delonge,
may need an occasional tune up of recombinant DNA brain mojo,
from his handler,
Harold Foo-dini Puthoff.

At some point though,
I expect DeLonge to have a strange accident,
with a drug overdose,
while during a suicide,
sustaining a traumatic brain injury.  Reefer

I suspect that Harold Foo-dini Puthoff has performed several traumatic brain experiments,
on not only humans but possibly on aliens as well.

Inital side effects are a redness and soreness at the injection site,
and occasional recurrent headaches between the eyes,
in a small percentage of test subjects.

Harold's hampster wrote a book Lol
well ...
he had a NYT best selling author write it for him,
and he put his name on it.

Right out of Harold Puthoff's back pocket full of handy nightmares.
