I played with a landscape the other day in an experimental regrid.
This was from a very old image regrid called The GeometroSphynx.
Now it is hexagonal.
Nice depths in high magnification.

I also noticed a slight improvement.
my blanks are BMP's.
I never thought of converting the BMP to a jpg. prior to image insertion and regrid processing.
ie
the images are jpgs, so using the black space blank as a jpg makes sense.
I did them both ways,
onestated as a BMP the other started as a jpg,
and the jpg version had a pinch better resolution.
