The one at the top of the page is a beautiful fractal fantasy landscape.

Love that 7 pointed star two images back,
and those indented hexagonal pyramids are dandy.

The second image on the post at 5:32 PM is superior,
and really shows a lot of intricate detail at higher magnification.
Hope to try one soon.

"The second image on the post at 5:32 PM is superior,

I figured out how to increase the zoom level from ~10 to over 2000.
The result was to show a sideview near the growing tip at what
normally looks like a narrow filament.

Your description of intricate detail sounds like the 1st image in that post however... Hmm2

I took the image I mentioned and tried an enneagon.
This is to show what happens,
when the replicating part is too large for the image blank space.
This is as far as I got in the first try -- that is about a 5000 by 5000 image,
which means to get the full enneagon,
it has to be a 10K by 10K image, and my computer will not perform at that level.

Soooo , I had to reduce this first image size by half -- then reconstruct,
and the second image is within a 5k by 5K grid.

The last image is a try at a mosquito part in an electron microscope image.

Hmm2 A micro-study of insect eye structure

Sorry about the 2nd image.
I forgot to run it through gimp.

That last coronavirus fractal is gnarly cool.
I used your June 8 post 2285 image for this one.
there are a couple of flaws that could not be fixed,
but otherwise, it is pretty good at high magnifications strolling about the image.

Sorry about the flaws.
I'm in a hurry because the web is becoming unconnected randomly...for even a day.

The main thing here, in the first image,
was to fix the way the large polyhedral formations
were seen floating above the rough floor.

The result, in the second image,
was, by adjusting the relative distance between formulas
individually along the z axis,
showing ellipsoids and n-gons fused into the 7th order Koch transform,
and amazingly resolved the rough floor into a scaled plane of tiny polyhedrals.

I forgot to mention that I also changed the mobius twisted n-gon into a a knots formula.

The "scaled plane of tiny polyhedrals" images, are super cool.
Hope to try one soon.
This is from one of your images in the last month or so.
The second image got discombobulated, but there it is.

Kalter, where can I get a free copy of the software you guys are using ?

Bob,
Kalter is using a program for fractal production I don't know anything about.
I take his images and reconstruct the geometry with lots of artistic tricks,
in a very very old program,
MGI photo suite believe it or not, from my first computer.
That old program is very easy to work and has great functions for rapid movement of image manipulations.
In particular, it has:
sharpen image <--- {and a host of others}
a far better sharpening program than let's say ... Windows 10 -- clarity
but
after sharpening in MGI,
the clarity in Windows 10 does enhance that.

What I am finding is that transfer of images from computer to computer,
is causing some loss of resolution,
and I don't know why.

So I tried an image from just a few back.
It was a total disaster.
I tried to push a program function in image manipulation ... to far too fast,
and the entire image work crashed and burned,'
and I lost 2 hours of work.
So this is what was left to resurrect from the loss.

Looks good in very high magnification.

That one is sharp when enlarged.

On May 18 2020 I went to page one of the thread and downloaded cpro40.exe and tried fooling around with the math and numbers and getting some very fast and kewl images.  I say 'fast' since I am using my Rendering Machine now since my previous Cybertron went "clunk" on March 1 when I stated my on-line taxes I was changing file status from Married filling together to Married Filing Singles.  From that one clunk I was once more aware EVERYTHING I do has CIA = #CockroachesInAction issues.  I was able to finish the taxes with a few clicks now and then; and they let me finish and print and as soon as the color printer stopped...blue screen & "C Drive is Corrupted and needs replacement"

I can get SOME equations from that program on page 1 but I have not played with it as much as I wanted; but it does however work some what.  I am just too into saving NEWS items and surviving after death of wife on March 18 and loss of $900/ month.

I'm still alive and positive and remain A tongue tied Earthling with a Martian Soul and was pleased to get 2 of HiWish requests that shows the Alien Face that is North of the Smoking Pyramid.  They missed the Pyramid with the color; though it is STILL showing in the scene.  In the Showem if you got them thread.

Thanx again for the Black Jade rock still on my side table.

Bob...that cpro program you tried is Chaos Pro.
I don't use it anymore.
Now I'm using Mandelbulb3D.
You can find a free copy at https://fractalforums.org/index.php
It's faster but usually noisier than CP,
so I run the result through Gimp.

Here's one of my most recent
that I Gimped and added Conformal Map and Symmetrize formulas...
