Going to see KISS tonight
Yes, I am.

Haven't seen them in about 15 years

Whether you like 'em or not, one thing is for sure, they put on one hell of a good show.

I'm in party mode, got the leather and spikes out of the closet.

Fixing to tear some shit UP!

Never invite a Yoda to a frog leg dinner.
Go ahead invite Yoda to a Frog leg dinner
Man did they ROCK!

It's not even like they do it for the money, KISS LIKES to put on their shows.
When you've been to as many shows as I you just know when a band's heart is in it

Theirs was.

We raised 251,000 for the wounded vets as well

havent had an opportunity to see kiss, but this does remind me of some of the other events i have attended where a group that i was not really fond of dazzled me with their professionalism and ability to have a good time
more or less hudsons bay again

I saw Elvis Costello in the late 70s Seattle.

The band was bored to death and hating traveling ...and couldn't wait to leave the show.
Costello was an absolute asshole.
they played for 45 minutes and said sorry goodbye.

A group of pissed off fans yelled Fuck You for 15 minutes straight.

I stopped listening to a lot of his music after that.
Man I am still hoarse

what a show, what a performance.
If I'd have been thinking right I'd have taken my oldest grandson,
kids get in free at KISS shows, which I remembered once we got inside and saw all the kids.

Different time, different generation, different Music, but....The Moody blues.
Bill Graham thanking the customers, walking about and shaking hands in the Fillmore or Avalon.
Janis Joplan, a joint in one hand and bottle of Southern Comfort in the other, a hundred others whose names are on the honor rolls of rock and roll in the sixties, every weekend. We didn't just go to listen.....we danced.
You could back when Frisco first took off, there was room.
So, the words Autumn and Fall are not to be capitalized?
They are in my world!

What has been is what will be, and what has been done is what will be done; and there is nothing new under the sun.
Is there a thing of which it is said, "See, this is new?"It has been already, in the ages before us. Ecc 1: 9-10
if that's the case YOU should go see KISS and dance..

I know I did

I wore my '77 Led Zeppelin concert shirt-
Very rare, have never seen another like it since the show I bought it at.

So, you could say that even I was a bit out of place among all the younger painted faces and what-not

then Paul Stanley came out about halfway through the show and did his solo,
played Zep's 'Whole Lotta love"

and I noticed all the old guys there, like me.. not out of place at all, right in there doing what we invented.
but now with kids and grandkids in tow
and no mosh pit.
(Though I can still wade in and bowl 'em over)
