To point the HiRise camera.. Some results are in!
Dear Robert Williams,

HiRISE images have been acquired and released for one or more of your suggested targets. The data are now available on the HiRISE website at the urls listed below.

Note: The descriptions you entered for your suggested targets are listed below, however, the official image descriptions maintained by the HiRISE Team may differ.  The HiRISE Team tries to make the official image descriptions consistent with the current Mars nomenclature and the geologic features found in the images.

Suggestion ID    Observation URL                            Release Status
23748            http://www.uahirise.org/ESP_045641_2200    Initial Release
Description: Filling in major targets of the CAAIM

Additional Note: Our target retirement software will retire a target suggestion if the center of the suggestion falls inside the footprint of the retiring observation, or if the center of the observation falls inside the suggestion footprint.  This system is not intended to guarantee complete coverage of a target, but usually provides enough coverage to meet the science objectives.  If your target did not get adequate coverage by the retiring observation, you may submit a new target suggestion to cover the region missed by the observation.

Thank you for your support in making HiRISE a successful mission and we hope you enjoy the images. If you have questions about the acquired images, please use the contact form on the HiRISE website: http://www.uahirise.org/contact/

With a new re-new budget for the MRO I think it is IMPORTANT that we ask them to turn their attention to "The People's Camera Hi-Wish Lists".

Maybe send each list of our targets to Trump & Hillary along with NASA's Hi-Wish folks and the various media?

or is that taking it too far like asking for the Rover 2020 be in Cydonia ?

As far as the image goes that was a nice target you found, definitely if that was on Earth it would have archeologists working all over it.

Glad you have likely more requests than I do for a list.

If we want their "Extended Misssion" to produce more TIME for HiWish requests we should get a "rider" on that TaxPayer $$$ for "People's Wish List and Cydonia Landing Zone" a priority with the $$$

Maybe publish everyone's list to shame politicians into doing it>  It's ELECTION time anyhoo all the more POWER we have now than after its over.

Keith due you have any images form HiRise that is a full shot of Cydonia? Like Viking 1 or like the 2006 ESA images. If not did you ever ask for them?

The above images I would like to find in the DataBase but after spending 12 hours trying to find I couldn't find even ONE single with the ORIGINAL file data name.

Would like to put these into the HiWish list.

Tried PDS but it keeps sending ME (anyway) back to MSSS data bank which numbers don't match.

I have MANY landing zone target rectangles to include as much open space and it's edges in the MIDDLE of Cydonia where a Rover could land WITHOUT landing on a "monument", yet be able to be as close as possible to image and measure them as soon as the landing is opened and looking around.

PLEASE KEEP IT UP while your orbit ALLOWS it.  President Trump "may" issue a EXECUTIVE ORDER for your 2020 Rover the land in Cydonia.
