I was home that day, burned forever in my mind.

I kept saying to myself, OMG OMG. Imagining the terror that those kids went through. I am going to go through each and everyone of those links on the weekend, I need the refresher. And the reminder.

Parthenon, do you remember noticing this?

Quote:Background
During the 1993 assault, standoff, and siege at Waco, Texas between
members of the Branch Davidian Church and BATF, FBI, and U.S.
and foreign military forces, deliberate interference to various services
were carried out by FBI and U.S. Air Force. FBI has admitted to jamming
AM and FM broadcasters and television broadcasters in the Waco, Texas
area and jamming the Amateur Radio Service.

Yes absolutely. l was a militia member back at the time.

Another common meme perpetuated by the govt was that we were all white supremacists. Well... some are... but most are not. The outfit l was in had people of all colors and backgrounds, even a few gays and even jews. ln fact, the head honcho was a black man, and there were a number of us mixed race folks too.

Most of the militias were/are (some are still around you know) what you might call Constitutionalists. They are not hate organizations. The govt worked overtime to portray us as skinhead neonazi thugs.

All we really ever wanted (demanded!) was a return to the Constitution, the end of gun control, and the end of property and income taxes. Many of us also were technically Leftists because we wanted to end the corporate control of the US government.

But no... the govt considered us threatening enough (how DARE anyone stand up to them and demand their constitutional rights!) that they convinced a large number of the public that we were a neonazi movement.

We came VERY close to a civil war in the 1990s and you probably never heard about it. Linda Thompson of the North American Council of Militias actually sent a defiant list of grievances and demands to the government, and for a while there, it was touchy.

Rumors have it that Michigan still has a pretty strong militia presence. Tim McVeigh or Terry Nichols (can't remember which one but I think it was Tim) was supposed to have lived and been a member in Decker, MI. Decker was about 15 minutes from where I lived at the time.

In Waco: The Big Lie - Part Two (Linda Thompson) there is home video of some of these Delta Force guys, standing a way off from Mt Carmel (you can see it in the distance). This is just before the final assault (conflagration). They were all laughing and hyped up about how they were gonna go in show these Davidians who was boss. Big tough guys, against a church of weirdos being attacked by tanks and Apaches. Some contest.

Thermal Gun, Seizure Gun, and Magnetophosphene Gun:  Evokes a visual response and is thought to be centered in the retina (as seen in the movies Goldeneye, Broken Arrow, Escape From LA, and Eraser).  The popular video "Waco: The Big Lie Continues" shows video footage of three EM weapons being used during the confrontation.

Why would a Rhodes Scholar hire a third rate lawyer from Miami Florida? And why would he also be wearing an Eye of OSIRIS pin on his lapel at the Washington Millenium Ceremonies?

Quote:Waco: A New Revelation is the film that triggered a new Congressional investigation of the Waco tragedy, and caused the Justice Department and the FBI to reverse their long-held positions on Waco. It has generated a firestorm of events unprecedented in the history of documentary filmmaking. After six years of painstaking investigation, the complete story of the tragedy in Texas is finally coming to light. This compelling feature-length documentary presents new revelations about the events that led up to the deaths of 79 men, women and children at Mount Carmel on April 19, 1993. In the spring of 1998, under the Freedom of Information Act, investigators from MGA Studio’s film division became the first private citizens to gain access to the Waco investigation evidence lockers. What they found was shocking. Upon examination, the evidence gathered under the supervision of federal officials appeared to contradict the FBI’s congressional testimony, raising serious and disturbing questions about events surrounding the siege at Mt. Carmel and the deaths of the Davidians. Gene CullenSince 1993, former members of the FBI, former Special Forces and CIA operatives have come forward with new evidence to suggest that the FBI’s claim is inaccurate.
