Quote:According to polling by Fox News’ Frank Luntz, there was one remark at the GOP debate that caught more attention than all the other comments of the night.
The remark came from former Arkansas governor Mike Huckabee. Huckabee said:
Quote:“Ronald Reagan said trust but verify. President Obama is trust but vilify.
He trusts our enemies and vilifies everyone who disagrees with him. And the reason we disagree with him has nothing to do with party. It has to do with the incredibly dangerous place that this world is going to be as a result of a deal in which we got nothing.
We didn’t even get four hostages out. We got nothing.”
Luntz reported that Huckabee’s statement was the number one “dial clip” of the entire two hour debate – and approached a perfect 100 score.

Quote:If the winner of the GOP presidential debate was determined by Internet buzz, it was Donald Trump by a landslide.
Trump was the most searched-about candidate on Google, the most talked-about candidate on Facebook and the most mentioned candidate on Twitter throughout the debate, data provided by the three sites found.

On Google, Trump dominated search queries from all fifty states during the prime-time debate (prior to the debate, only Gov. Scott Walker’s homestate of Wisconsin had more searches for Walker than Trump).

The only candidates to surpass Trump in Google searches at any moment were Texas Sen. Ted Cruz, who peaked right around 9:12 p.m., when Cruz answered his first question, and Dr. Ben Carson, who bested Trump four times throughout the night, though only in quick spikes.

Education and taxes were the most searched topics on Google throughout the debate, with abortion shooting to the top of the list just one time, around 10:24 p.m., when Megyn Kelly asked Gov. Jeb Bush why if he is against Planned Parenthood he sat on a Bloomberg board that gave “well publicized” donations to the organization.

On Facebook, Trump was the most discussed candidate followed by Carson, Sen. Rand Paul, former Gov. Mike Huckabee and Gov. Chris Christie.

The top issues on Facebook during the debate were immigration, racial issues, the economy, education and abortion, according to Facebook.
