Next President of the United Fates of America

The DNC had a full time computer security staff protecting its computers. It took them a year to find Russian hackers had nailed their systems. Hillary Clinton, as Secretary of State, had 1 part time guy who took care of her entire personal email server, including security.
Clearly, the DNC is not taking the Russian espionage all that seriously, noting that the target of the hack, their opposition research on Donald Trump, was world class and would naturally be of interest. What they glossed over was the fact that the Russians also were able to read all email and chat traffic for over a year. Still, it is worth noting that once the hack was suspected, DNC Chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz immediately acted ... by calling the top DNC lawyer, who suggested they get a professional anti-hacker outfit.
However, the classic response to the Russian hack job of the Democrat campaign computers comes from the Obama White House, which naturally blamed Republicans. According to White House Press secretary Josh Earnest, the President "takes our nation's cybersecurity quite seriously."
The President contends, in classic bureau-speak, that by spending billions of dollars more we can achieve information security nirvana. Congress, however, sees a somewhat different route to solving the problem, and refuses to shovel dump truck loads of cash to be burned by a failed administration wish bucket/furnace.
It is not lost on Congress that the solution to all problems as viewed by the current belt-way insider is to throw gobs of money at whatever the issue is. It is no co-incidence that the same White House which spent $2 billion (yes that's billion with a "b") to set up the Obamacare website is suggesting we spend even more money on hiring bureaucrats who will underperform. Nor is it a simple choice of pay now and pay even more later since the efficient Obama State Department also wrote a check for $4 million to set up a twitter page, something that most 10 year olds can do on a rainy Saturday afternoon paid with milk and cookies.
The contention that Obama takes the national cyber-security seriously is all the more ridiculous because the same "serious" administration lost over 20 million federal employment records to Chinese hackers. All of these events come amid the back drop of what can be conservatively stated is the worst administration in history when it comes to cyber security.
If you are a regular reader here you will note that I have documented case after case of government emails disappearing into cosmic black holes, hard drives that suddenly catch fire and are totally destroyed by some magical curse each time Congress attempts to investigate and cyber-fubars that were intended to help the US national security that instead became major threats to the nation. The prime examples include the IRS emails and hard drives eaten by an inside-the-beltway Bermuda Triangle, the emails and hard drives that vanished from the known universe at the EPA and the failed back door blowback that was the Juniper Dual-EC hack by the NSA.
Of course, the "Piece de resistance" of the Obama cyber folly-buffet is Hillary Clinton and her magical email server. If you think that Vladimir Putin - and possibly others - were not reading Hillary's emails - think again. It is good to note that the original leaks of Hillary's email server came from behind the former Iron curtain. The Romanian hacker who publicly noted his penetration of Hillary's secret email account Marcel Lehel Laza (a.k.a. "Guccifer") was also well known inside the east bloc hacking culture and to authorities. Marcel noted that it was easy to get into Hillary's email server and he thought that there were others there who already had hacked in.
It is known that the single Clinton IT geek, Bryan Pagliano, reported that he twice had to shut down Clinton's personal State Department email server because it was being attacked. This little cyber-security gem clearly comes from someone who has never played with bad guys before.
Seriously? Shut down? How is turning off your computer going to stop a hacker from either - 1 penetrating the system the next time you boot up or 2 - re-establish the hack he already dropped into your system before you pulled the plug?
The answer to questions 1 and 2 is: It won't.
So, which one would you pick as your best choice for cyber security? The Clinton IT-guy who has copped the 5th to avoid testimony or the Romanian hacker who has a long history of working the field and copped a deal with the FBI?
I'd hire Gruccifer first.
We also know the main route of attack used against the DNC computers also hit Hillary. The weapon of choice “spearphishing” penetrated the DNC data base using a fake email to get the victim to open it and ... BOOM! Out pops the nasty hack attack. Clinton, by her own admission, was a victim of a “spearphishing” email, which she thought was sent by someone from her inner circle. Maybe it was Vladimir or maybe it was an email spammer seeking another Viagra target.
After the DNC hack, there are rumors flying around the Internet that Russia will release some of Hillary's stolen emails and it won't be a pretty sight. The question of Hillary's magic email account is now a matter of when not a matter of if. Will it bite her before the election or will it bite us after the election?
Most Democrats would rather ignore the growing scandal and are willing to support a candidate under "criminal investigation" by the FBI. No problemo that her IT geek took the 5th. Don't worry if Vald has her emails and can compare them to the data stolen from the DNC. No reason to be concerned.

One if by land... Two if by sea.

Quote:One of the new members of Obama’s Homeland Security Advisory Council’s (HSAC) Subcommittee on Countering Violent Extremism is a 25-year-old Syrian immigrant who has not only outright rejected ever accepting the idea of truly being an American, but has praised the 9/11 attacks as a positive good, and indulged constant racist attacks on white people on Twitter.
As Daily Caller documents, Laila Alawa was hired by Barack Obama to join the Department of Homeland Security–an agency set up to stop another 9/11 attack–even though she has praised 9/11 as a good thing.
In September of 2014 Alawa insisted “9/11 changed the world for good and there’s not other way to say it. I just hope we keep having open conversations about our differences.”

Obama’s new member of Homeland Security also recently said that she will never consider herself an actual American. Even though she came to the U.S. as a 10-year-old child, Alawa says she will always consider herself a Syrian. “But I will always be Syrian. I will always be from Syria. I will always be of Syria,” she wrote in an article in November of 2015. In the same piece she called Syria her “homeland.”
In a tweet from 2013, Alawa slammed anyone who might say that the U.S. is a great country.
