New Cydonia Face image 4-13-06
#1
here is a link to the recent NASA image of the Cydonia Face that was JUST released on April 13, 2006.

NASA has presented the full strip in a broken composite of 3 columns - the Face geoglyph is found upside-down and reversed in the lower third section (Note the crater, which should be on the left side of the Face).

Not very viewer friendly.

Why has NASA taken over 20 images of a "mesa" that they say has no scientific value and is ... ... "just a pile of rocks" and why would they presented this new image to the public in such an obscurest manner.

The facial features are all there (again)

Note (on the left side) the tri-leaf emblem at the center of the headdress, the almond shaped eye, the nose ornament (part of the Tear-drop feature), the mouth and tooth with a round dental gem stone - all on the humanoid side.

On the right side is the feline mask- note the eye, muzzle, snarling mouth with fang and tongue and note the zig-zag mane.

More confirmation that the Cydonia Face is a bifurcated geoglyphic mask.

Hey Zip :)

It's not only 'bi'furcated.... it exhibits 20 fold symmetry. <img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/cheers.gif" alt="Cheers" title="cheers" />

Zip... Please compare to what I've done here. There's so much more... http://www.maxtheknife.com/How%20and%20why.htm

Will be supplying linked, full resolution images to this page as soon as I get a chance... http://www.maxtheknife.com/The%20many%2 ... 20Mars.htm

Your mirror appears to be correct, though. <img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/cheers.gif" alt="Cheers" title="cheers" />

Edit: The lower halves of our images seem to match, but the upper portion of our images seem to be slightly different. Maybe its because we're using different images.... not sure....

Also, Zip, Doesn't the lower portion of the image you posted look like the Bat that's revealed when one mirrors the Lid of Pascal's sarcophagus?

MAX, it was thirty years ago today – on July 20, 1976 - that the Viking 1 spacecraft safely set down on Mars. Out of that dual mission came a photo of an odd formation that look a lot like a two-faced mask:

Over the next three decades over 20 images of this so-called “pile of rocks” were taken and much to the dismay of NASA each new image supported the two-faced model.

Heyya Max, theres the 'alternative history' too. Sgt Pepper never really did teach the band to play, and that there was never any guarantee that they would raise any smiles whatsoever. Hows the crew at TEM? Forward a hello to them for me, would you? :) Lynn Swan for Governor of Pa. yeah!!!!!

Max,

The Cydonia Face doesn’t have to be “mirrored” in order to see the Humanoid and Feline sides of its bifurcated visage.

Below is the full image of the Cydonia Face with notations highlighting the iconography and facial features seen on the Humanoid side.

Note all facial features are readily seen with out the aid of mirroring.

Notice the tri-leaf emblem on the forehead, the almond shaped eye, the flanged headdress, the decorative nose ornamentation including the Teardrop feature, the tooth with a circular dot in the center, the mouth and jaw.

Agreed.

I'm not sure I agree with your interpretation of the 'tooth' or the 'mouth & jaw'. Ever since I found 'him', I have been leaning towards the 'Gray Alien' interpretation although at this point I'm not really sure what to think.

Don't you want to post the image of the hidden Mayan mask and talk about the creature in the middle? Pretty sure its a BAT!

Sorry, still can't figure out how to post images here.... lol, one would think after all I've done I could at least figure that out! ;)

Zip, allow me to add, now that the true nature of FOM has been revealed, there is no reason to assume that the human side is now or was ever a complete 1/2 of a human face.

Thanks Max! over at the TEM Board, some years ago, I posted something regarding the BAT image and a comparison to the Mask of Palenque. If you type in the phrase 'Mask of Palenque' over at the TEM BBS, you should find comparative images, both the FACE, and the MASK of Palenque. Regarding posting images at keiths bbs. Get a free account from Photobucket. After you upload the image to photobucket, then copy the IMG string and paste it in your posts here. Thanks again and best always. Charlie.

Hey Zip... I saw you made another post at TVF's forum. Well, two actually. The second being a new thread.

Why bother? If they can't handle links that are relevant to the discussion, what the hell's the point? Might as well write 'snail mail' letters back and forth to eachother.

Seems to me TVF is living in the dark ages. We live in the age of information and communication and he hasn't figured that out yet.

His forum is boring and seemingly not condusive to communication.... 'CLICK'.... wow, yeah... that was hard and oh, so annoying! :scream:

Moving on to the feline aspects of the Cydonia Face. I will demonstrate how the feline features are readily apparent without the aid of mirroring.

The eastern (right) side of the 2001 image of the Face confirms the feline aspect of the eastern side of the "Face" as seen in the 1976 and 1998 images.

Notice that in the 2001 photo (below) and the current 2006 image of the Feline side - that they both retain the crown feature (referred to as the “terrace” by TVF) and the overall square shape to the head.

We still see the rectangular, squinting eye, the muzzle, and a short zig-zag shaped mane (or beard). The only surprise in the 2001 photograph was the presents of four little "fangs" at the top and bottom of a flailing "tongue". The tongue is highly decorated with a crown like pattern. In Mesoamerican cultures the flailing tongue was often seen as a sign of bloodletting. The tongue was synonymous with the sacrificial knife and in many Mesoamerican images a protruding tongue was shaped like a highly decorative knife blade.

Note: the crown , the square shaped head, the rectangular, squinting eye, the muzzle, and short zig-zag shaped mane (or beard). Also note the four little "fangs" at the top and bottom of the flailing tongue.

MAX,

there is only one axis.

In our analysis the axis is not arbitrarily chosen; the demarcation is self-evident. Just as we find in Mesoamerican two-faced masks, the demarcation exist at the central axis of each of these bifurcated geoglyphs, while the axis of “half-faced” geoglyphs runs along the edge of the split face, which is parallel to its adjoining plane of topography. Demarcation lines are highlighted by precisely set “markers” that have also been identified in and around each of these geoglyphic structures that denotes mirroring. These “markers” are in the form of small mounds, straight lines and half “X’s” (making a complete X when mirrored just as on the Lid of Pacal.) to identify the axis.

The demarcation line runs along the central axis of the structure north - south , which is the same line as the center of the bifurcated mask.

Nope... you're wrong.

The circle in the middle is the axis of symmetry. Once you realize that, the rest is easy.

You've made it more complicated than it really is.

Talk to me when you're ready to address the rest.

Seriously.... This is getting old. My nerves are frazzled, my heart is palpitating all the time, and you, et al, still won't talk about the rest.

How many licks does it take before Max has a nervous break down??? I'll bet not too many more....
